We didn’t stay there, so I can’t rate the rooms, but we ate dinner at the restaurant, which is their home — Abdo and his wife were so welcoming and the meal was delicious. We accepted Abdo’s offer to grill the chicken skewers in front of us, and he told us all about his home, which he built, and his belief in giving back to the community, including the women’s co-op that made the cheese that was in the delicious salad we started with. When we finished, he told us to pay whatever we wanted, and sent us home with baggies of spices used Moroccan cooking! Such a big heart and sweet family. It was bit hard to get to in a car at night, but he kindly had us follow him out on his moped using a different (still dirt road) but at least not driving between two walls ;)

We stopped over here for lunch on the way to todra gorge. It was well worth it. One of the highlights of our trip so far. A very peaceful place to while away a few hours. Would recommend it if you want a break from a roadside eatery and the hustle and bustle. Google provided an accurate route through and our dacia sandero had no problem getting there. Had to hang around for 5-10 minutes for someone to arrive so just be patient if there is no one there.

Small garden with a lot of plants. Charming owner, likes to show you around. The food was great marrocan food, cooked by his wife. Can’t say anything about the rooms because we only came for lunch. Time is running a bit slower in this small paradise.

Best place to go to have a true quiet Moroccan experience. Abdou is the nicest of host, always smiling, positive and doing everything to please his guests. The garden is beautiful, you only hear the sounds of birds and wind. We stayed for one night. The food is amazing, only with local vegetables and meat for dinner and breakfast. The homemade bread is delicious!

We passed by accident at this place while driving through the stunning oasis. The Host Abdou is lovely, he and his wife prepared a delicious lunch with salad, tajine and tea and coffee. We spend a great afternoon in his beautiful garden. The host is very welcoming, friendly and respectful. We also had a look at his two rooms (with 3 beds each), they are very cozy and perfect for a short stay to have some rest. We would go there again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful meal at this place! The salat and the tajine were so great and the garden is such a lovely place to be. Abdou also has two rooms available but we had our Defender to sleep in. The roads there are narrow but we made it in our Defender, so any car can do. There is parking.

We were visiting the Palmeraie de skoura and decided to stop to eat here. So far the best experience in Morocco. The home and friendly atmosphere and the kindness of Abdou and famille made us feel relaxed and comfortable sitting in the garden. The food was excellent, we eat a Tajine with chicken , a wonderful salad and chicken kebab grilled in front of us. We highly reccomend this stop for who wants to have a true Maroccan-Berber experience. Thank you Abdou!

This place is such a gem! If you’re passing nearby, make sure to visit for an authentic experience. The family will welcome you in the garden of their home, and the tasty food is just an added bonus. We had salad, tajine and Berber omelette. Everything was fresh and well prepared. It is important to note that you can also stay and sleepover in the place. Thank you! 🍋🍊
