Mehdi for president! What a friendly host of this beautyfull renovated kahsba. Situated on the road to Dadès Gorges! Awesome views of the rooftop terras. You're surrounded by red rocks overviewing the lush green gardens. Just stunning! Rooms are clean and very cosy. Loving the decorations and the vintage art!

Mehdi was a very welcoming and helpful host. We made a stop on our way to the viewpoints, which he made very pleasant. We had great food, he gave us valuable advice not only for the day but also for the rest of our vacation and is genuinely interested in helping you on your journey. He has a passion for people and language which is lovely! We hope to come back!

Labyrinth Kasbah Dades is one of the best calm place i visited in south-east of Morocco . It’s the appropriate place to relieve the stress, it has a wonderful view to the mountains and old houses. Its rooms and the decorations are just awesome, all is traditional and clean, every piece it has its story . The owner Mehdi is nice, he’s a cheerful person, always the smile on his face , he gives you time to show you a lot about the village, to discover the culture there. Being there it was an amazing experience for me 🥰

First thing as a first the Place is so clean. 🤩 The Owner ( Mehdi ) is very kind person, 👍🏽 the stuff in Kasbah is very attentive and the decorations seems to be very authentic, and that is absolutely amazing, it makes feel so much more special than being in kasbah. Also it has a lovely outdoor terraces with amazing view. Thanks for hosting us. I highly recommend this place

We had a wonderfull stay in this beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. When you are in this region it is highly recommended to spend a night at Mahdi's hotel. Mahdi is happy to help whenever he can. He is also a guide and speak several languages(also dutch). He brought us on walking tour to a beautiful mountain range. He brought my friend to the best hairdresser of southern morocco to have a haircut. We had a superb stay.

We just stopped at the place because we wanted you have a lunch on the way to Dadès Gorges and we received beide of a delicious meal a wonderfull experience. The staff is very friendly and the views are amazing. The manager also gave us a tour in the Kasbah and he explained the history and how he decorated it with his own recycle art which is quite impressive. It is also a good place for children because the whole Kasbah is like a little museum with a lot of surprises to discover. The manager even built a miniature of the valley with a real river for the children. It's one of the best hidden gems we found in Morocco. Thanks for everything 🙏

We only had lunch there, but the host immediately arranged a tour to the cascades and in the meantime they were preparing our food. He was very friendly, gave us some tips in general and for Marrakesh and he even spoke Dutch!

It was an amazing experience. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, feeling like I came to visit my old friend, making me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed being able to use the kitchen (it's convenient if you're on a specific diet) and the surroundings were stunning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.

Such a wonderful stay, a true home away from home. The host was so lovely and welcoming and gave us some great tips about where to go and visit. In the evening he cooked a fantastic meal for us and spoke to us about his story and his dreams. So uplifting! He really made it feel like we were visiting a friend, and I hope to visit him again some day. If you are in the area, be sure to experience his home

We had a great stay. First of all, Mehdi is absolutely devoted to his guests. He goes out of his way to make sure they have everything they need from the standpoint of lodging and sustenance. Beyond that, however, Mehdi will take the time to make you feel welcome - like staying with a good friend or family. He's proud of the journey he's taken to return to his hometown and it shows. If you need pricey, opulent, touristy accommodations, this is not for you. The building itself has been around for over a hundred years, replete with interesting stone-work, doors, etc. But, if you're looking for a comfortable night's rest off the beaten path with beautiful surroundings (and a friend for life in Mehdi), this is a hidden gem. We would definitely stay there again. It was my favorite lodging out of 8 different places we stayed at during our trip.

I have been working in tourism for quite a long time but what Mehdi established at his warm welcoming place is just amazing! That's how tourism and travelling should work! Mehdi: thank you so much for the stay, your hospitality and everything else. All the best for the future and please keep going! :) To everyone else: please don't hesitate to contact and book with Mehdi directly without any other booking platform! The money should go directly to the accommodations :)

If you are here to see if all these five stars are from true travelers, look no further, they are. This place is magical, Mehdi has builted it to be like this, magical. An old Kasbah house, converted into a labyrinthical hotel, there's art and love in every detail. The host is an amazing person, who will make sure you have a wonderful time.

Mehdi is an excellent host, so we immediately felt at home. You can tell that his kasbah is built with a lot of heart and soul. We had a fantastic view and a delicious breakfast on the roof terrace and went on a great hike through the gorges with a very helpful and relaxed guide. The rooms are clean and tidy, can absolutely recommend.

It was a great choice to stay at Midi's place! His hospitality and friendliness are exceptional. It's immediately obvious how much work and effort Midi has put into making this kasbah a special and very inviting place to stay! And the view is superb! :)

My wife wondered whether we should it the Mehdi hotel (rather than the labyrinth des kasbah); I guess all other reviews reveal why but let me briefly share my experience. Mehdi simply breathes hospitality & will do everything is his power to make your stay in Morocco as pleasant as possible. His approach comes very authentic and that's something you wille feel immediately. As a host he brings the joy & peace into the place. Regarding the food: don't even think of eating elsewhere; his cooking is really great & very good value for money. Great place to explore the beautiful are of the Gorges des Dades (and even the Gorges the Todra, which I did). Highly recommendable!

This hotel is not the typical one. I would describe Labyrinth as a unique way to experience the real Morocco lifestyle. Everything thank to its host and owner Mehdi. It’s amazing the passion he brings and the effort he does to meet your expectations. Mehdi also has a very inspiring personal background which makes your stay even more magic. The hotel is nice and it has a fancy personal touch by Mehdi.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Labyrinth Kasbah! Our host was exceptional and truly made us feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed connecting with him over our trip. This bohemian-style stay was beautiful, had an exceptional view, and was exactly the experience we were looking for. We would recommend staying here to anyone passing through!

In this guesthouse like we were visiting friends or relatives. A lot of relaxed communication and pleasant time with nice people. The dinner will impress you, because it is different from everything you have tried before. On the booking we did not have an indication that breakfast was included. But we had an incredibly delicious Berber omelet and a whole bunch of other goodies and we were not charged for it. I highly recommend it!

I spent there one night only, but my experience was very positive. The Host is very friendly and helpful, he is also a guide to the close-by treks, so you may ask him anything (or better hire him to guide you!). And the kasbah itself is just fabulous! This is real labirynth, full surprises, beautiful details, and neatly crafted. And those terraces with Dades valley view! Worth visiting and spending there more, slow time :-)

Dear Midi and the Labyrinth team, I want to express my admiration and gratitude for the extraordinary experience I had at your establishment. The Labyrinth Inn is much more than just a place to stay; it is a true gem nestled in the heart of the Dades Valley, where Berber authenticity and hospitality blend harmoniously. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes. The majestic mountains, lush valleys, and stunning rock formations created a magical and enchanting setting. Every moment spent here offered a breath of fresh air, a reconnection with nature, and unparalleled inner peace

What a magical place. As soon we saw this place from the road we could felt that it was special. Mohammed with his smile didn't hesitate to show us a few rooms for us to feel at home. The house is literally like a small kasbah and a labyrinth, everything decorated with a very exquisite taste. Mehdi, the owner, welcome us in the night, and we were really impressed about his hospitality. They prepared a tasty dinner for us and being vegetarian I ordered one of the best vegetarian tajini I ever tried.I thought it couldn't be more perfect till Mehdi offered to be our guide in a hiking route early in the morning without an extra cost. After a nice sleep we did the monkey wild route..what a place Dades it really worth a visit. when we arrived the breakfast was already prepared and the amount of choices is unbelievable. I only have grateful words to Mehdi and all his team. Thanks for making us feel at home. Definitely we will come back. Celine & Elena

The Labyrinth Kasbah is a truly unique and wonderful family run boutique hotel. Mehdi the owner is as helpful as can be and took great care of us from the moment we made the reservation and throughout our 4 day stay in his place. The entire building has been beautifully and creatively renovated by Mehdi himself. The place actually looks better than the pictures on Google Maps! The Labyrinth is located a few minutes up the Dades Gorge, so it is a very convenient place to explore the gorge and the surrounding area, but close enough to the town center for any shopping or dining. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have everything you need. The terrace offers a splendid view of the gorge which we enjoyed in our breakfasts there. We had a great time and highly recommend Mehdi and the Labyrinth. We will most certainly come back there next time we are in Morocco.

The loveliest host we met on our whole trip around Morocco. If you're planning on staying here, stay for more than 1 night. The restaurant attached is amazing and the views are just fantastic

This was from faraway the best place we have stayed so far in Morocco and even abroad. Mr Mehdi (both the owner and the manager) promised us a second home and he fulfilled it. Everything was cleaned and well taken care of. Not only the food (we had both diner and breakfast) was delicious but also different from what we had eaten until now in Morocco. The decoration is unlike any other and wonderful. Finally our amazing host Mehdi creates a unique personal experience for each one of his guests.

This is place is AMAZING. We stayed with our two young boys (2 and 6) and ended up extending our time there. Mehdi, our host, was simply the most accommodating, knowledgable, kind and dedicated host you could possibly imagine. He has refurbished his old family house with style, character and charm, all done with traditional methods. You can't really tell from the photos how beautiful this accommodation is. Artistic details round every corner, it really is a labyrinth of Moroccan-style lounges and chill out areas, all built with love and attention to detail (there's even a home-made water feature to amuse the children!). There are wonderful roof-terraces with amazing views, and delicious home cooked food (in copious quantities!!). In fact Mehdi cares so much about you enjoying your stay he does things like tries to find out, before your arrival, what food you've just had to make sure he makes you something different, but still traditionally morroccan, for your first evening. He is an absolute star, he helped us plan our days, showed us walking routes and offered to accompany us, recommended restaurants across the valley, did our laundry for free etc etc. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
