Wow wow wow wow! I loved my shopping experience here. The two boys who helped me choose my rug were lovely. There was no pressure and they helped me find the perfect rug for my style. I ended up with a rug that Hamid pulled for me. It was a vintage Berber style and just perfect. It was more than I had hoped to spend, but the price seemed fair for the art I walked away with. I never met the boss, but the two boys that show the carpets are spectacular. I trusted them with my whole heart and would recommend buying here.

I purchased a few rugs from this store while my husband and I were in Marrakesh. The owners showed us many many rugs, and after selecting the highest (and most expensive) rugs, we decided to customize size and color and the owner promised that the rugs will arrive after 3-4 months. We ended up receiving the rugs after almost a year. The saddest part is the quality is nothing like what we were stepping on at the store, and we paid 10K on rugs that are probably worth 1/3 of what we paid. BUYERS BE WORNED.

Incredible shop with more carpets to last you 28000 life times at least. Abdel that presented us the carpets was very humble and has excellent English as well as many other languages. They also have online order. We bought three different carpets and all very special. Their collection of vintage carpets is probably the best in Marrakech.

Learned a lot about rugs and had so much help figuring out what style I wanted. There were so many great options and I fell in love with the rug I selected. Absolutely recommend visiting if one of your purchase goals is to buy a rug!

What an amazing shopping experience! I have been following Les Nomades on Instagram for a few years now, so I was delighted to finally see their selection of rugs in person. I am excited to say that the experience was even better than what I had built up in my mind. We went in without an appointment, but Abdullah was able to get us in to see rugs without issue. I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and he did a great job of listening and understanding my needs. I really appreciated his patience while I decided which rug to get, since there were so many beautiful options and I would have loved to take them all. When we were ready to purchase our rug, it was well out of our price range but Abderrahim, the manager was able to help us come to a price we could both agree on and felt happy about. It's clear that the team here really wants their customers to be happy and will do what they can to accommodate their customers price range and specifications. After selecting an extremely high quality and one of a kind rug that we love, Imane helped take care of logistics like shipping, alterations and payment. Overall we are very pleased with our experience here. We shopped at many carpet stores in both Fés and Marrakech and this was by far the best experience we had. I can't say enough nice things about Les Nomades De Marrakech, Abdul and his staff. They have one of the largest selections of rugs both new and vintage. This place is amazing. I’ve never seen so many rugs and patterns in one place before. So much choice and excellent quality. Staff were friendly, helpful and very patient in ensuring we found the perfect rug for our budget. They have a huge range to cover all budgets and tastes. One of the best things about it was the absence of pressure to buy that you get in so many of the other stalls. Very relaxed and professional. It was a pleasure to visit and a must see for Marrakech.

Th heaven of woven art. 2-3 floors of pure artistry, you cannot spend less than an hour in this labyrinth of colourful fabric. The staff is a dream and very flexible to accommodate every need. Just make sure you have the right measurements of the space you want to buy the carpet for.

The best place to find a rug in Marrakech, huge selection, friendly staff and great service. It was a tough negotiation with Abdul but in the end a fare price was reached, (stick to your guns). Depending on the size of the rug I would recommend bringing it back with you on the plane, so much cheaper, £50 additional check in bag and no tax to pay.

We had a great experience shopping for a rug in Marrakech at Les Nomades. They have an amazing selection of new and vintage rugs. They were very helpful, showing me so many beautiful wool rugs; the hardest part was picking my favourite! Conveniently we were able to pay with a credit card and shipping was arranged all the way to Canada. I'm very grateful for their wonderful hospitality and assistance in finding my dream carpet!

We did some research and found that this was the best place to buy carpets in Marrakech, and we were not disappointed. The store is beautiful, calm, with an incredible selection of all sizes, patterns and colors. The staff was very polite and helpful, and most importantly they are not pushy and their prices are very fair. Recommend!

We visited Les Nomades during a trip to Marrakech last month, hoping to find a rug for our bedroom. There are tens of thousands of carpets in the labyrinthine space, and Hamad was so helpful and patient, showing us various colors and styles, all in the size we needed. Because of the sheer size of their inventory, there is an element of chance as to which rugs you will be shown, which is part of the thrill for me. In the end, we found a vintage Tuareg mat that truly surpassed my expectations. After agreeing on a respectable price, arrangements were made to have the rug shipped to us in the US. The entire process was very smooth, and we received our delivery yesterday with no issues! I'm grateful to have had this experience and would certainly return in the future.

This place is a home for woven art. I could have spent all day looking at these magnificent pieces I traveled so far to see. Absolutely gorgeous genuine rugs for very fair prices and with a very low pressure sales environment. Les Nomades is kind, honest, and so professional. The showrooms are just jaw-dropping. They know the history and story behind each of the carpets. They also take card, not only cash like a lot of other Moroccan retailers! I am so happy to take home my beautiful carpet to love and admire for a lifetime.

We had a very pleasant visit from beginning to end. We knew what style we were looking for and several carpets of our choice of color and design were displayed. The staff was very friendly, informing us about the different weaving techniques, material and availability. The shop has been run by the same family for 5 generations and we were able to meet the shop keeper with more than 35years of experience. I would recommend this place as they have a variety of styles and price range, excellent quality, as well as being situated in a beautiful and mesmerizing building. My husband and I had a great experience shopping for a vintage rug here. We told the sales rep (Never got his name but he was so kind) we were looking for something small and he still gave us his time and full attention. He was so knowledgeable about where all the rugs came from and the stories behind the different details and colors. They were so patient and pulled out as many rugs as we wanted to see, then gave us a good price when it came time to buy. Such a fun experience in a gorgeous building that is a cool respite from a loud medina. I would definitely return on my next trip to Marrakech!

The staff were amazing, spending hours pulling out and showing us many different styles until we found the one we liked. After agreeing the price with the owner, they nicely packed the rug up into a travel/plane friendly format and then delivered it to our hotel later in the day. Overall, a great experience in a beautiful building with never any pressure to buy. We were ready to walk away because the rug we were looking at was well outside our budget but the owner was able to offer us a great deal and at no time did we feel obligated to purchase. I would highly recommend Les Nomades and it will be one of my first stops if I get the opportunity to visit Marrakesh again. This is the place to buy a rug. Their massive inventory is almost overwhelming, but in the best of ways. They have so many different styles of rugs you’ll be sure to find one you love. There was zero pressure to buy and working with their team was very pleasant. Price included international shipping. I had already bought a rug on my trip but after coming here, with their selection, I found an amazing rug that I couldn’t pass up. All around great, professional, and beautiful experience.

My friend and I both bought rugs from this store and we’re so happy with the experience. The staff is super helpful and does not pressure you to buy whatsoever. Carpet buyer's dream, don't go anywhere else. Jaw dropping selection to fit all styles and budgets. I had spent the morning browsing the souks until I came here. Hakim helped me and quickly established the style, pattern, and colors I liked. The young guys unfurled carpet after carpet until I found what I wanted. Then over tea, we haggled. :) I was going to carry home, but after going a few days later and ending up with 2 more carpets (to a total of 5), I decided to ship. These guys are great and they have some amazing pieces. They know their stuff. I'm officially addicted and dreaming about how I can incorporate rug buying into a side gig.

Not so fast with the good reviews of Les Nomades de Marrakesh. My daughter and I went there interested in buying three rugs. Abdullah was very gracious in showing us many rugs on our first visit. He was kind and helpful. We returned on the second day with the intention of bargaining for my daughter’s choice and then the other two. Unfortunately Abdullah was off that day, but the owner came out and told us the price was 50% off the marked price on the back of the rug. He refused to even entertain bargaining for a better price. So basically, he can put an astronomical price on the back and get whatever price he wants. It’s all to his advantage. Because my daughter so loved her rug, she bought it. However that soured the deal for me. In the end, he lost two sales. I would never recommend this shop. I found him to be disinterested and arrogant.

We visited Les Nomades in July 2021 and found an amazing selection of carpets. Excellent advice from the shop owner. We have bought a wonderful Berber-carpet for a very good price. Free and punctual delivery to our hotel in Marrakech.

Les Nomades and Vintage Moroccan Carpet share the same building and same ownership, so this review is for both shops. As we mentioned in the other review, this was such an amazing experience! My mother and I stumbled upon this shop and it stood out from all the other carpet shops (and we have seen a lot!) We were impressed by the quantity and variety of different styles. And more importantly, the quality of service was wonderful. The owner, Mr. Abderrahim Namous, was very knowledgeable and hospitable. We are so grateful to Mr. Abderrahim and the whole staff, especially Abdullah, who helped us with selecting and packaging our purchases! Can’t wait to come back here next time!

Just home and are really pleased with our purchase. After a few days of browsing stores we had not made our purchase. Only a day left, so we thought we needed one last attempt. This is an excellent store, with a huge collection of carpets in one place with a gentle manner. Recommended.
