Amazing view. Steep stairs to get to the top of the lighthouse but well worth it. Clear enough to see Spain across the Mediterranean.

I loved this place, don't be turned off by the small $2 per person entrance fee. The grounds are gorgeous and they have a garden perfectly groomed for a royal british style tea time.

Wonderful place to visit. The paid area (5$) worth to be visited. There is a restaurant but could be crowded and take too much time to deliver food. So better to plane eat somewhere else especially during hot season. But definetly a must to visit

Ahhhh.....One of the mesmerizing view i have ever seen. Its so beautiful. The place is situated on the hill. The mountain of Spain can be seen from here. The only way to visit here is book a taxi or with a private car. A must visit place.

It was a super nice place with a super nice garden. The view from there into the sea was amazing. Also the little museum in the lighthouse is a good way to go to check the past. Or get a tea for the 20dh Tickets, whcih you have to pay to get into this garden/park. It's also goood for couples.

Wonderful lighthouse that was refurbished from 2020-2021 and originally built back in the 1860s. It costs 20 MAD to enter and see the museum and grounds, and 50 MAD which includes the climb up the lighthouse. Please note that the lighthouse has some rather steep steps, but the view from up top is amazing.

The lighthouse of Ras Spartel is considered one of the largest landmarks in Tangier, and as it sits on top of a mountain at the entrance to the Mediterranean Sea, it is an important beacon for sailing ships over time. The beautiful entrance to the site dazzles you and there is a ticket booth if you want to go up to the lighthouse for 50 dirhams for non-Moroccans.. The place is very beautiful, a wonderful garden and it includes the lighthouse museum, restaurants and cafes. You can sit and enjoy the time and experience the adventure of the seas inside the lighthouse exhibition, which contains a lot of information and heritage..Ticket holders can also climb to the top of the lighthouse, photograph and review the views with a unique view. A place well worth visiting

A very nice place to visit! There is a lot of different things to see in this unique monument located in an exceptional position. Cap Spartel offers stunning coastal cliffs, turquoise waters, a lighthouse with panoramic views. A must-see destination in Tangier. Don't miss the lighthouse!

Beautiful scenery, cliffs dipping into the Atlantic Ocean and waves crashing into a twisted landscape with vegetation and tress young and old. Close by, there are walks to a great sandy beach too. Must visit.

If you go to Cap Spartel, make sure you spend the 50dhs to visit the Phare! This is the lighthouse that was built centuries ago. You will be allowed to go up the top where views are breathtaking. While walking up to the top, you can read the history of the lighthouse and how it was built. There is also a museum on the bottom floor that's worth exploring. When done, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. You can have your complimentary tea at the Cafe while enjoying the unique beauty of the place. Money well spent and worth every penny!

A wonderful experience, the view on the ocean / sea, is amazing: "Breathtaking." You can see where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic ocean; cannot get enough of the view. There is a museum inside as well as a café with a beautiful garden, the entrance fee is affordable ( 20dh which is nothing less than 2 euros). I highly recommend visiting it. It was in my checklist actually!

Amazing destination. Lovely views from the top of the lighthouse and the wind was strong, fierce. Visited in autumn so I would suggest you bring a jacket. The lighthouse interior is filled with the history of the various events that involved the light house as well as a biography of the man who invented the lighthouse technology. The grounds of the lighthouse have a cafe where you can spend your time while waiting on friends or group members who have yet to complete their visit

Lovely place to see, nice gardens. We just got there in the wrong time with the rain! At least we went up the light house & couldn't spend time in the beautiful garden. There are 2 ticket options one can buy. Going up to the light house is extra but nit possible if you in a wheelchair.

Vey nice tour. History inside the museum. Also you can walk around to have views and you can go on top of the tower to catch outstanding view. The ticket is very cheap, I think was 30MAD. Or even less.

This is incredible. If you happen to be in Tangier, go there. Seriously, Moroccan government did an awesome job renovating this place and keeping it in a perfect condition. The entrance fee was 100% worth it. Also, it's VERY windy there, so make sure to take some measures. But still go, you will remember this place.

What can I say. I know if I was a millionaire, I would buy something like this at this kind of place. This is something of.your dreams. The view can't be described in words, but I try. There are some magical gardens, a majestic sea view and a good temperature regarding the season. This is one of the spots you have to go when you are in Tanger. 10/10

Absolutely wow, the new visitor center and the story regarding the lighthouse and the grounds are fantastic, we have the opportunity to be there early enough where there weren't too many tourists.. seeing the new visitor center was just great. A very comprehensive detailed on the construction and the history of the lighthouse

My second holiday in Tanger, my second visit to Cap Spartel. I'd forgotten what a beautiful paradise on earth it is. Absolutely amazing place, where the two oceans meet. Go up to the lighthouse and look at the views below. Indescribable beauty

A beautiful sight in Tangier offering a botanical garden, maritime museum, historical lighthouse and a cafe and restaurant with ocean view.

With geographical importance, you get to see the meeting of the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean. And mainland Europe is just less than 10 miles from here. It holds the beauty that's breathtaking and serene.

Is a beautiful spot to look at the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean when they meet, Watching the sunset there is something else. Recommend

It's really one the greatest places in Tanger and probably one the most beautiful sites I've ever seen! At this point the Mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean. Even without entering to the park you can enjoy an amazing view of the sea and ocean and of the old lighthouse😍 The entrance ticket to the park and museum costs 20 Dh (2 euros), but it's really worth visiting! ❤️ The park is so nice, with a lot of wonderful locations for photos, cosy benches, interesting plants, etc. There is also a restaurant there. The museum is situated in the building of the lighthouse and it's exhibits tell about the history of this place. For 50 Dh (5 euros) you can climb to the top of the lighthouse, but we didn't, because there is too much stairs😁😁 I highly recommend this place for everyone!👍👍👍

Super beautiful, really well renovated. Lots of green spaces and just an amazing view! If you plan to go up to the top, make sure you have 1:1 child to adult, I had three and it was scary!!

Another stop off on the one day tourist tour, a small lighthouse and restaurant with nice ocean views but not really worth the stop.

  • 4/5 AliKemal S. 2 years ago on Google
It is really beautiful place to visit however weired that it is museum and you need to pay to enter the location not only building and much weired thing is when you would like to take photo locating the lighthouse behind you including sea view you have uninvited disturbing and repeating views like everywhere in the country ...😄

Absolutely beautiful place, lovely spot to watch the sun set. There's a good sized car park, nice cafes with a decent playground for kids and a few people selling souvenirs. Only downfall was that the lighthouse area was under construction.

Great place to wind down and get away from fast paced life and enjoy a relaxing time surrounded by nature and sea from all sides
