Ismael was a great guide! He kept close communication and responded to late notices very fast. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I absolutely loved experience in the common baking area - had no idea that it exists! Only locals would guide you through such experience! Ismael was a lovely, friendly guide who offered great insight into Moroccan culture. The souks of the Old Medina are a labyrinth, so I'd definitely recommend starting your first day in Marrakech with this tour. It gave us a good understanding of the souks and a few reference points to guide us when we went back. It's pay-what-you-want at the end so no need to worry about getting ripped off!

What a great experience!!! The beauty of the Atlas mountains is breathtaking. And so are the Berber people. This is the best way to see the lives of the locals through their own eyes. It should be mandatory at every visit to Morocco.

Ismael is an amazing guide! Our group was 14 people and the tour was very interesting and most important- it's a tour WITHOUT shopping. Ismael told us so many interesting facts, he was extremely funny and had very clever jokes connected to the theme. We felt so good while touring with him. We recommend him VERY MUCH!

Highly recommended!! We did the free walking tour with Ismael and we were very pleased with it! I'm fairly sure that we would not have been able to find many of the places ourselves that Ismael showed us. You get to see markets where the locals go to shop. It's a really authentic experience! Ismael was great! He took us to cool different neighborhoods inside the medina and explained bits about the culture & history of Marrakech. The tour took about 2.5 hours and it was mostly in shaded areas inside the medina. Highly recommended.

My tour guide Ismael was fantastic. He was punctual and was waiting for me at the assigned meeting area. He was warm, friendly and spoke perfect English. We did the tip-based walking tour with Ismael and can't recommend it more! A great way to experience Marrakech from a local perspective, wandering through hidden alleyways in the old Medina and seeing some of the souks from a non-touristic perspective. Ismael was giving a lot of information that brought the places to life - not only describing what we were seeing, but also about different aspects of the Moroccan culture in general.

Today we had a 4 hour experience at the Medina with our guide Ismael, wondering efficiently in the labyrinth and the market square, learning about the history, culture and local products of Morocco and Marrakech. It is amazing to meet inspired local craftsmen who proudly present their skills and hand crafts. We ended the tour with some best buys, a great meal and took the cleanest tuk tuk home!

We had a very enjoyable walking tour with Ismael. He was so knowledgeable and obviously loved to share that knowledge with visitors. We were late arriving to the tour but he let us know exactly where the tour would be at the time we arrived so it was no problem finding them. We appreciated the quick communication from him. I’m so glad I booked this tour. It was a great way to begin to understand the orientation of the city on our first day in Marrakesh. Ismael is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and responsive. We never felt pressured to purchase anything, but we’re able to meet local artists and vendors and see the “behind the scenes” on how crafts and Turkish coffee are made. Because of what we learned along the tour, we skipped our hotel’s average breakfast the next morning and ate traditional Moroccan soup for breakfast alongside the locals. Ismael takes a lot of pride in the local culture and is also very kind. Highly recommend!

I always try to join free guiding tours whenever I’m travelling and must say the night tour guided by Ismael was one of my favourites so far! Ismael is a very good tour guide, has a lot of local knowledge. He shared a lot of details about the culture that we did not even notice (for example about the different events happening at the square). Moreover, he always has in his pocket some good tips and tricks on what to eat or buy in Marrakesh. Totally recommend!

Great walking tour, very interesting to hear about the history and way of life of the local people. We walked through little passageways and parts of the Medina we might not have discovered on our own. Our tour guide Ismael was informative, knowledgeable and added a bit of humour as well, making the tour interesting and enjoyable. Despite the heavy rain during the tour, we still enjoyed it very much! Recommend the tour.

Ismael was excellent! He really does give you a great journey through the Medina and the historical context of the area. He’s very thorough so be prepared to walk a lot with comfy shoes! It’s an absolute MUST tour!

Ismael is a great guide! We were a bit late but he waited for us at the meeting point, communication with him was good. The tour itself is very interesting!
