St. Jerome Church stands high up in the town of Morong. It was built in 1615 by Chinese craftsmen as evidenced by the Chinese-style lions at the entrance to the steep driveway. An added attraction in the church is the first-class relic of the town's patron saint, Saint Jerome. it was now o be of the famous attraction in this area. The age of church was 408 years

Old but gold, I must say. The exterior shows the design of its era. Inside, you would see old paintings everywhere on the walls. Most of the interior look renovated already. We did an ocular for my aunt and uncle's silver anniversary and I am impressed with the looooooong aisle. It would be really great to see my aunt walking along that aisle. There was a separate room where the stone images are housed. Beside that is the old structure of the church which is barely lit. You can peek into it from the windows outside.

beautiful church not too crowded

Our 2nd Church of 2022. We had to wait for level 2 before we could travel with our kids once again. Pretty old church, very serene! Easy to find and easy to go to. Follow us as we visit more churches. Tune in every Sunday

One of the oldest church, so beautiful architecture, peaceful. You can always come here to pray even if there is no mass.

Wow amazing, this church is on a small hill in Morong. It's architecture is different from the other Spanish era churches but still very beautiful.

I love the facade of this church, it stands on elevated ground, and quite spacious inside. Im surprised that we have such beautiful church on this side of Morong, reminds me of Cologne because of its European design, there are also trees surrounding giving cool shade and its perfect for photo ops and yes- weddings! Unfortunately they have to work on the parking space since they do not allow public parking inside.

I love this church! The atmosphere is very cold...and you can see most of the place thru its view.

It is worth the visit. The architectural design makes you feel like you are traveling back in time. There are fields which you will pass thru along the way-- so enjoyable view. It is recommended that they add more lights inside for it to be brighter. There is a separate area for lighting candles. Souvenir shop is located on the side of the church.

Considered as 1 of the oldest Roman Catholic Church, it's architectural design is of ancient style.
