Excellent hostel - very friendly and welcoming. I stayed here 10 nights and did not want to leave. The ladies who run Hostel Nina are beautiful and very hard working, they keep the place extremely clean and have a well thought-out business to ensure guests get the most out of their stay in Mostar. The day trip they run is fabulous and well worth doing. Highly recommended hostel, easily one of the best I've stayed in in Europe.

We were very happy we chose Nina’s for our three day stay in Mostar. Nina’s was excellent value for the money. We stayed in a private double and were very happy with what we got. Large, clean room with a balcony (including a great view of Hum Hill). The hospitality was incredible - everyone in Nina’s family made us feel very welcomed. We appreciated the included breakfast, and we even received a bit of home-cooked soup and a crepe one of the afternoons as we stayed in during a heavy rain.

They do nothing about stolen items. No camera display, no policy. My $350 sony headphone stolen in the first hour after we checked in at the hostel. I can be wrong but I was almost pretty sure I left my headphone at the hostel building and go out. They just didn't care enough. I extended 2 days more my booking to look around and try to find the headphone. Once a young dude came to the dorm room i never seen him before and immediately left when he saw me with saying "sorry". But the thing is I was the only customer at the time and there was no reason to behave like this. Long story short, keep it under lock your items.

While the private rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean, I would never stay again or recommend. We stayed for 4 nights. On the last day we were accused of using the washer and they demanded we pay €10 since we were the only ones staying on the 2nd floor. We repeatedly stated we did NOT use the washer and are not going to pay. The floor is open to anyone who has access to the dorms and apartment building as the check-in office is inside this building. Regardless of being honest, they told us on checkout day we had to leave by 10am and could not leave our bags or stay on the premises because they had a party of 50 people checking in. This was very inconvenient since we planned a whole day in Mostar and our train did not leave until 5pm and on the listing it said we would be able to leave our bags after checkout. They recommended we go to the train station and rent the lockers there because they did not have room for 2 backpacks - ridiculous! To the owners: It's very rude to accuse your guest of something they did not do and not follow your own rules according to your listing just because you have a large party entering.

Definitely one of the best hostels I've been! All the staff are super friendly and help in everything you need. The dorms are clean and the breakfast is great!

I spent a night at Nina's hostel with my friend. It was absolutely perfect. All the family was welcoming, friendly, caring. The room was clean, shiny as well as the bathroom. I have been served a tasty breakfast like a hotel 5 stars. I felt at home! The best hostel I have ever been. Thank you Nina for your smile and your kindness. Amina

I’d describe my stay at Hostel Nina as a mixed bag. Generally the host was welcoming and accomodating. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, all be it, a little small. However, generally the host seemed reluctant about the guests using the kitchen. She wouldn’t mention it to guests unless they asked specially about it and even then, would ask them if they were sure they wanted to use it. So at least in regards to the kitchen the vibe wasn’t ‘my house is your house’.

I enjoyed my stay here, bathrooms were clean although the toilet cubicles were very tight! Nice and quiet. Hosts very nice and provide breakfast for free in the mornings. You must do the day tour offered by the hostel, it was one of my favourite days on my entire trip! Cost about €50 inc entry to the waterfalls, which was the same price if not cheaper than the competitors but we had a private tour experience as there were only 3 of us! The guide was fantastic and took us to some great spots :)

We loved Hostel Nina - from the moment we arrived Zika was so friendly and helpful, we went on his Herzegovina tour which was excellent (don't miss it!), the free breakfast was great, and we felt as though we had become part of the family! Would highly recommend staying here when in Mostar - the best hostel we've ever been too!

We stayed one night in a private room. The room was big and quiet and had even a kitchen which was really nice. The breakfast was good and the breakfast ladies very nice. The recepetion lady (i think she was the owner) seemed a bit stressed out and therefore a bit rough. There wasn't a lot common space so in my view it seems not to be the place to meet people but surely a good place to stay if you just want to see the city or do tours.

Hostel Nina is a great place to stay. Very clean and quiet with cold AC and solid Wifi. Nina is really nice and very helpful. Her husband runs a cool tour that is definitely worth checking out. The only drawback I guess is the kitchen, which you can use, but it is their private kitchen for their home. Overall, highly recommend this place.

The bunk bed is tiny, you unable to set down without bending your head. The toilet is very narrow it's really difficult to use it. there no power socket or light for each bed. the breakfast is very limited only egg and jam. The owner was rude with me when I accidentally enter to private area which obviously I didn't know that since no one explained that to me and there isn't sign say so. I told him I was looking for the breakfast (which it was outside the building) but he blamed me for not listening when they explained that yesterday. even though, if it was my mistake still I'm your guest and you should treat me better than that. only the good point is the location is good.

The stay in the Hostel Nina was great. There a lot of natural light, the place is clean and quiet. From the bus station we took like 20 minutes walking, and from the center is like 7..10 minutes. Nina is great, and up to help you with any need you have. They have Breakfast included which is also a nice opportunity to meet new people on the common table. If you have opportunity do the tour they offer, is great with the best guide.
