What a short pleasure it was. Got confused with the prices and the owner went completely unfriendly, after which I noticed my confusion and explained him what I got confused with a different hostel and excused myself and told him I was ok with his price. Guy still stayed unfriendly as hell. While I'm sure the place is well kept and provides good service in essence, the owner speaks for himself. Really tried to find common ground and stay friendly but ended up leaving after the guy wouldn't calm down. Contrary to the hosts foreseeable response, I was not dissatisfied from the first second. I was only confused by the prices, as already said. And I really excused myself extraordinarily after I realised. I did not ask for a discount, but that might have been lost in translation. I was thinking a bed is 7 a night instead of 9 and I was wrong because I had confused it with hostel Musala, which is roughly 200 meters further and doesn't include breakfast. The remark by him that he wanted to let me stay for free of course was with a very hostile undertone and not a serious offer at all. One of the rudest and angriest people I met in my life.

This hostel made our stay at Mostar unforgettable, with the local wine and homemade food we felt right at home. I would recommend the hotel's own walking tour of the old town and their other day trip that shows but a glimpse of the nature surrounding Mostar. Our only regret was not seeing the beautiful countryside in summer. Overall I would wholly recommend this hostel!

Nice and clean hostel, located close to the central area. It is very quiet around which is a plus. Rooms were always clean and the hosts are super nice and funny people. Good value for the money! Supermarket 3 mins from the hostel. Bonus: cats

This hostel is legendary. Great location close to old town, facilities are good and David and his mates are great hosts. Will be back for sure.

I love everything about this place, it's a home away from home. Pedja and David, the owners, know a lot about the area and are very informative. I fully recommend the tour that's provided. So close to the centre and the old town, such a reasonably priced hostel and comfy beds. What more can you want? 😀

This hostel is worth the good reviews. We left our luggage at reception during the day and came to check in in the afternoon. We stayed in a room of 8 which was a good sized room for your bags with comfy beds. For 8 people you share a bathroom which was clean. There is also a lounge area within the accommodation. The best part of the accommodation was the outside area with chairs and umbrellas, in the hottest part of the day we came out here and interacted with other guests. The location of the hostel is also really good, a 10 minute walk to the old town. The hostel also does a tour during the day for around 30/35 euro which apparently is a highlight for some travellers so would recommend that! Overall great stay and would come again!

one of the best hostels i have ever stayed in. david and tarek are very friendly and helpful, we arrived a little early but we could hang around in the lobbyarea and had a delicious sandwich. the bedrooms are clean and the other travelers were friendly as well. i recommend going on the tour with davids dad. i think its the cheapest option to explore the area with a local and davids dad is very funny, friendly and has a lot to tell.

Best. Hostel. Ever. Also, take the day trip, cheapest in the area and just amazing. Best omelette sandwich I’ve ever had btw. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Host is nice. For breakfast he made me the largest egg sandwich I've ever seen. Sadly I could not finish the monstrosity. Also played with some resident cats in the courtyard.

One of my favoutie hostels I have stayed in. The facilities are nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the room is spacious. It is family run by a man we called Papa and his son David. They are the best hosts. He cooked us breakfast every morning and gave us snacks and alcohol. It was my birthday when I was there and he even got me a present!! The tour he takes you on is amazing, I definitely recommend it. Don't stay anywhere else in Mostar!!

Excellent excellent excellent. This has been the best Hostel my boyfriend and I have stayed in. It was the perfect package, friendly and welcoming owner, very clean, and close to the city. The best of all was that it felt more like a home than a hostel. The owner greeted us with a complimentary lunch which was delicious and even made us breakfast the following morning. He spent time with us, and was always there to help us out. We felt he really cared which you don't get at your everyday hostel. During his time spent with us we learned a lot about the country and we even got to hear a few of his jokes. Over all Hostel David was nothing short of amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mostar. Also, highly recommend the Herzegovina tour!!

I stayed a few years ago and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. The owner provided breakfast, dinner on our first night and took organised activities for us to do. Will 100% come back here again!

Stayed there for one night. Amazing place, close to the station and they organise lots of activities for travellers. Great place to meet people if you're travelling solo. And the best part is the owner, super chilled guy. I was leaving at 7 and breakfast is served at 8. He packed breakfast for me! Like whaatt, I mean who does that! Would absolutely recommend 10/10.
