I really wanted to love this place after all the amazing things I heard about it. I was really looking forward to my stay, but the experience overall was dull and underwhelming. This hotel is made up of three main areas only: the rooms, the outside seating area / restaurant (which is rather small and limited), and the pool. And that’s pretty much it. No spa. No gardens or various outdoor areas where you can enjoy the night sky or the horizon. No activities. Nothing. However, there are lots of empty spaces that could be much better utilized, but they’re not. They’re just empty. Compared to the price point, you do not get what you pay for. The place is expensive for two reasons only: for the sake of just being expensive, and because the palace is a historical/heritage site. It is worth mentioning that the historical features or architecture is nice, but then you quickly get over them. The main / head receptionist has taken a vow not to smile. In many instances, he made me feel like an intruder on the site. I do not remember his name; it is NOT Alaa and NOT Nabil, both of whom were just so respectful, professional, and friendly. Other members of staff were more cheerful and welcoming. The waiters at the restaurant are warm and helpful. Special thanks to Firas and Moneeb, both of whom were extra courteous and helpful. The food… meh. Nothing special. The prices are all in dollars though. I ordered the Italian sausage, and it was both greasy and salty, which is something I do not expect in a place like this. The Lebanese dishes were perhaps better prepared. The portions are big and suitable for more than one person. The pool area is nice and slightly wide. However, service does not seem to find its way there. I sat there for nearly an hour and a half before a member of the staff showed up. I asked for a menu and an ashtray. After receiving them, the waiter said he would be back to take my order, but he never showed up. I had booked an executive room, which happened to overlook the roof, and maintenance personnel often have to fix stuff there, so I was compelled on numerous occasions to keep my curtains closed for privacy concerns. To be honest, I did not feel comfortable in that room because of this. Overall, I did not feel at home here. Aside from the historical status of the place (which is something I got over in the first hour of my stay), it is very difficult to justify the four stars and the price point. In short, the place is unjustifiably overpriced, boring, and underwhelming. I recommend you stay at other much more engaging and cost-worthy places.

I have visited the restaurant within the hotel and didn't stay for a night, so I can't review about anything other than the food, view, and atmosphere... Well to begin with, this place has an extremely fascinating architecture and a great view... it is located on a high hill overlooking the Chouf's beautiful greenery!!! Moving on to the food, service, and atmosphere; well I got nothing to say but perfect!!! The food was super delicious, the service was top and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere and vibe was extremely chill and friendly... I truly enjoyed my time there... Highly recommended!!! 👌

Food: most of the food in the place is good! The muhamarra is absolutely delicious and was a highlight but the Shanklish did not taste great at all with the hummus could be creamier. Ambiance: the restaurant has a gorgeous view with Piano plating in the background that adds to the Beaty of the palace yard itself. Service is okay. Pro Tip: order as many mezzas as possible (hot and cold) as piped to mains and make sure you book ahead of time!

One of the best places i have been to in Beiteddine. The ambiance, the authenticity of the place and the positive vibes from the staff are all you need when going for a gateway there.Much recommended.

A beautiful historical Palace built in the 19th century. The Palace is nicely renovated and well maintained. The scenery is amazing as the Palace terraces offer views of the Chouf mountains. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and all are equipped with wifi and a big TV. The Palace has 2 pools. One on the entrance that is more decorative and the other is a good size one for the Palace guests. The restaurant offers authentic Lebanese food. We had breakfast there and everything was tasty. The coffee was great and fresh. The staff were courteous and keen on providing us with what we wanted. Highly recommended if you are seeking a quiet and calm break in the middle of nature. Don't expect a buzzing night ambience but more of a calm meal with a breathtaking view.

We booked a table outside and it was reserved. The space between the tables is not spacious. The chairs not very comfortable. But the place is amazing and the view is wonderful. The only negative issues was the service. Very slow. We had to wait for more then 30 min to receive the first plate. And the parking was at a fee to our surprise.

We came for coffee and we had a tour in the hotel. I love how historical the place was. The staff were amazing especially Nabil. Definitely staying in next time!

They could do a bit on their customer service, as getting a table in the half empty terrace restaurant proved to be a challenge for some reason. Location is nice, and it’s close to a few of the other historic palaces in the area.

Love the overall structure , the authenticity and style. The staff is so welcoming and the food is good. Would love if they do like a sunset bar there since the view is perfect.

Came here for a drink one morning before it got too hot (July). They made good coffee, but I think they also offer a menu of other options like cocktails. They gave us a short tour of the place afterwards and the host was very friendly the whole time. Did not stay in the rooms.

Nice setting and views with decent service. I found the 35$ formule to be very expensive even though the food tasted good. Would be better to order a la carte.

Their mezze dishes are getting smaller. The humus was bad. Total bill for two people: 100 usd. And I wonder why we were the only guests at lunch time.

Food was really good, but service is not the best. Understaffed for a weekend brunch and we had to wait several times

The palace is wonderful, but it has the worst restaurant service. I only recommend to get some drinks at the restaurant, take some photos and get out.

Only went there for the day to look at the place. Does not consume anything at the restaurant or stayed overnight. The 5 stars is for the architecture and how beautiful the place is.

The best thing about this hotel is it's historic setting. It's very unique among hotels. Beautiful views of surrounding mountains. The rooms are nice and comfortable. My biggest complaint is the bathroom. The pink bathtub is too small and narrow, somewhat unsafe. The service is good. The food at the restaurant is average. Overall good hotel but overpriced.
