It was one of the top places we revisited in Lebanon. It is really fantastic although really difficult to get there on the top of the mountains. The kids really enjoyed playing in the snow aggregated at the top of the mountain. The weather was really fantastic. I would absolutely recommend it to my friends. It is just spectacular.

Beautiful place for visit and for hiking

I was lucky enough to visit this place in winter ❄️ so, it was covered by the snow ❄️ and this was just great (Sob7an Allah 😍). Of course I couldn’t walk more as it was so cold, yet, I enjoyed every single moment and took so many photos. The mix between the green trees and the white snow made a great artistic natural view. The view couldn’t be better 🤍

One of the most beautiful places in Lebanon! There are several trails, one of them leads to the lake. The people there are very kind and generous.

One of my favorite places to visit in Lebanon. A cedar biosphere reserve, you can enjoy a lovely walk, for all fitness levels among cedar trees, pine trees, and lots of plants. It's calm and quiet, extremely clean, with trails to last you a couple of days. Getting there takes about 1 hour from Beirut (assuming no stops and little traffic). The guides are very helpful, and take great care of the visitors. They will answer any question you have, and you can ask to have one of them guide you throughout the hike. You have plenty of places to sit and have a bite while enjoying great scenic views. Trails are well marked, with signs located to make sure you always find your way. Entry is 7,000 LBP (~5$). Peanuts compared to what you're getting in return.

Great views seeings snow and Cedar trees on top of the mountain. You can see many types of tree plantations, including Pine trees , while claiming up.

Beautiful hikes in the cedar forests. From a few minutes to several hours, everyone will find something. Entrance fee of $5USD is definitely worth it!
