Our visit was a request from my sister visiting from Tuscon, AZ as an item on her bucket list to stay in a Plantation home. Her report (tears in her eyes), "This place far exceeding my expectations complete with accommodations, history value and amazing southern hospitality. Melony is a super spirit and made the stay incredibly enjoyable. Food - 5 star gourmet all the way.

We were looking for a quite, out of the way stopover and found the most adorable B&B with the best innkeeper! Melanie was super helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do during our stopover. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. We were not able to stay for the amazing breakfast so Melanie packed a to go bag for us ready at 7 am complete with hot coffee and tea. Truly a wonderful stay that we would definitely do again.

We were on a family history tour and stayed here. The owner gave us a wonderful history of the home. She also cooks a wicked good breakfast. Our room was very comfortable. Would recommend staying here and will again!!

I’ve never been there . I saw the pictures and thought wow it’s beautiful. I called and planned to book and I was greeted by the most rude person who I guess has no interest in guest coming . After speaking with her I felt she could send someone to needing therapy . All I can say is it’s a no go . I would never go somewhere that the people who own a place or work there would mistreat u .

The B&B is first rate and Melanie is an outstanding hostess. She was flexible with our arrival time and then gave us a full tour of the house. Since we were her only guests for the night we were able to see all the rooms and stayed in the Barber Suite. It was amazing! The bed in that suite was so comfortable and the room and bathroom were large and accommodating. Breakfast on Saturday morning was amazing with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon and chocolate brioche French toast that was absolutely delicious! We will definitely stay here again when in the South Georgia area!

We found the Barber-Tucker House run by Melanie and Michael to be very charming and hospitable. We stayed in the Tucker room and the bed was so comfortable! Melanie made an awesome breakfast and both were very engaging and friendly. Next time we come we will plan to spend more time on the porch and take in the beautiful scenery. If you are a dog lover like me be sure to meet all those basset hounds!
