Amazing food and coffee, reasonably priced too. The staff are also super lovely and accommodating, new favourite spot in the hills !!

Best coffee we've had in a long time. Mulberry slice and sticky date also delicious. Nice atmosphere albeit a little noisy inside the cafe. And it's not cheap but still highly recommended.

Just a random drop in on a lazy Sunday arvo & wow how good is the coffee here? A. Pretty damn good. Nice vibe. Kerbside dining with heaters if a bit chilly or inside if preferred. The chicken chipotle salad was glorious. Warm service. Highly recommend.

A really lovely cozy cafe. There's a great wide-ranging menu, something for everyone. I had the very gourmet, Birken Museli. My friends ordered smashed avocado on toast and pancakes. All the food was very well presented and came out in good times. It's always buzzing with people. The staff have sometimes come across as stressed from the demand but are mostly very friendly. The cafe has cute little areas to sit in and out the front is a nice sunny sitting area. Overall the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.

Mexican Hot Pot very nice. Coffee was pleasingly hot on cold winter morning. Will go back to try other GF menu items.

Stopped in for takeaway breakfast from the cabinet. The place was packed on a Sunday morning around 10am. Staff were extremely friendly despite being busy! We ordered ham and cheese crossiants, chocolate crossiants, and a vegan oreo slice. We got the crossiants warmed up and though they were tasty, there was nothing special about them. The oreo slice was delicious! Highly recommend trying it and thanks to the staff member who suggested it. 👍

Dropped in for breakfast while visiting the area and had the corn fritters with a coffee and fruit toast. Quick friendly service and the meal was delicious. I returned for breakfast on mothers day without a reservation and they were kind enough to find me a seat to enjoy their Pancake 🥞 stack👌

Came over here after visiting the Farmers’ market nearby. Sat outside on a beautiful day and had such a lovely experience just chilling here. The coffee is average. I ordered the bacon and egg square ($13) - the bacon was nicely cooked (not to hard/soft) and the eggs were well seasoned. I would have preferred the eggs creamier (scrambled instead of folded omelette style), but I think the sandwich had a nice rustic homemade quality that I appreciate. The banana bread ($13 I think) was slightly too dense (if you like your cakes very moist this might be up your alley - I like my cakes to be moist with a good crumb) but the flavour was good, not too sweet and sufficiently banana-y. It was a thick and generous slice too! Overall what I ordered was not outstanding but I loved my experience there so much (service is great too) that I would go back to try their other dishes :)

We like this Cafe & the coffee is consistently good however, once a cafe allows people to sit & eat with their dogs (on the table) its game over for us. I own a dog myself so I understand the attachment but when I have to dine out with other peoples pets its a deal breaker. Disappointing & makes me wonder what other health aspects are being ignored.

Beautiful inside, lovely staff & good menu. Some items are expensive, e.g $21 for bacon egg & coffee but it’s well made

Went here on PH for brunch. Can't fault coffee, food, service and atmosphere - all A+. Only downside was the filth someone left in the toilet (not cafe's fault) so walked 1min up road to Public toilets. Dog friendly too. Will go back when down in the area.

Service was not pretentious, was genuine and friendly, breath of fresh air. They definitely value the customer x Breakfast.... I knew I'd chosen the right place, from the first bite! Soooo tasty, all of it 🤩 Coffee was delish, made me stop and savour each sip. Obvious they have a busy regular customer base, understandable 😉 They've got a new regular 👌🏽

Truly a best cafe, we were travelling back to Melbourne from Adelaide and looking for a good café. This location turns out to be a awesome place for breakfast. We have ordered few vegetarian and few non veg breakfast. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. Freshly squeezed juices are also awesome . Best cafe in Adelaide so far

Coffee is always nice. Ordered brunch today corn fritters and bacon, egg and toast. Poached eggs were boiled hard, called the waitress over and asked if we could get some soft poached eggs and she rudely replied “did I miss something” I replied “no just they are generally served soft poached” she literaly rolled her eyes and took the plate away. My replacement came out after my wife had finished her breakfast with 2 new soft poached eggs but clearly toast and bacon weren’t kept warm to re-serve and were hard and cold. Disappointing.

This place is such a great vibe. Delicious coffee and Brekky menu, with both healthy and not so healthy sweet options. I don’t love their lunch menu so much, but it’s great to sit and see the bustle of Gawler street in the morning.

Sat outside... nice area but couldn't stand up with out being in the overhead tree foliage... I'm only 171cm. 2 things on the menu not available because they had run out. 4 beers on the menu (Mexican no local) and they had ran out of 2. We were there on a Tuesday for lunch so can't imagine they had a rush that day. Overall the food was tasty and staff very helpful.

We were visiting Mt Barker for the Easter break and went to Saxon every morning for coffee/breakfast. The service was absolutely incredible and even though the staff were ran off their feet they were still so friendly, kind and calm. It’s so hard for find amazing service, great food and fab coffee! Mt Barker locals are lucky to have such a wonderful spot! Look forward to visiting again next year.

Delicious veggie gluten free brekky square and a mocha frappe. Great service and for gluten-free vegetarian - an excellent breakfast choice with clearly artisan gluten free bread - a rare treat for the gluten intolerant and allergic.

Delicious food and coffee and the best hot chocolate! Also breastfeeding friendly, had my baby with me in the corner while I enjoyed the dark hot chocolate. Excellent service, fast and welcoming. We shared the burrito bowl as a brunch, the veges were so crisp and fresh and the beans perfectly seasoned and the pork well cooked and tender. Would highly recommend this dish... And when you want a good, strong coffee, this is the place to be👌

Good place for breakfast. Staff taking orders however was a little bit inattentive of our simple request. We asked that our eggs be well done and they still came out runny. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They were great. I went with a group of 5, 1 large electric wheelchair included. We made a booking 2 weeks in advance for 2:30 on a Friday and I double checked it the day before. It's reasonably accessible, a bit of a squeeze through the front door as the wheelchair is fairly wide but they opened up the doors as far as they could go and it was very helpful. The booking time was good because it wasn't too busy to go in with a large chair and it wasn't too noisy either. It was chilly outside but nice and warm inside and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Good coffee, fresh juice and food too. 😁👍
