Kmart say they price match, but they don't. They refused to price match target as they said the item was on "clearance" when in fact it was on sale. Clearance and sale mean different things - Kmart staff need to be educated in retail... shameless

I have lived in most of the States and this store is by far the worst Kmart Store. Where is your stock???? Why are you shelves always empty?? There are so few Kmart stores in SA and we had to get this one to service such a large area - so disappointing. I drive and hour and a half to this store from my home and I come home with nothing. When has anyone ever said that after leaving a Kmart store - never! 'Back online soon' underneath half the items in store. And when that message disappears and it says in store only, well you know there isn't any in stores, so why change the message? Just leave it permanently 'Back online soon' and if by some miracle the items do arrive, you'll only get 3 of them anyway? Which is great for the people in store at that precise moment that you unpack them. For the rest of us, we'll just keep watching and waiting.

It was later in the evening so quiet. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. But at checkout 3 people just wanted to chat with each other. I have really had amazing sale items...thank you... Uganda rehoboth orphanage thank you ... it has been a blessing to be able to send clothes over...they were and are extremely grateful.. Thank you for helping families to be able cloth their family at a cheap price...and reasonable prices for toys and games.. On a sadder note I went there today... people just left things anywhere.. coffee or cans do not bong on shelves...Please take your rubbish... Then on a better note...fantastic to have price check stations that works so no embarrassing moments at the check out.. Hooray they have check out people now...personal touch always is welcoming

I just asked if they could put some items on hold because I wanted to see them first and I didn’t want to do a click and collect because I would have to pay and what if I didn’t like them. So anyway I call 3 times and they just won’t pick up so I wanted 30 minutes and I called again to make sure they had want I needed and the lady said that she didn’t want to go shopping and put them on hold because she was to busy. That is honestly the worst thing that has happened there and she didn’t even say sorry. Just really rude.

Website full of inconsistencies. “In stock” items are 99% of the time out of stock. Would recommend they adopt targets website where they source products from other stores and delivery them to you when click and collect isn’t available.

Love my Kmart and love my local Mt Barker Kmart. Always has huge clearances & sales as well the help from the very enthusiastic & friendly staff. With longer, earlier & later opening hours compared to other Kmart stores in SA. Can't fault this store whatsoever. Keep up the great work guys.

Most of the staff here are lovely but there's a middle aged woman on the returns desk who is horrible. I like self service as i can check prices but a man scanned all my items and half of them went through at the wrong price. They made me go to returns desk for refund. The woman was soo rude and disbelieving, i had to show her each pricetag and like prove myself, it was like i was being accused of stealing or something. Saw her being rude to the person after me too. Anyway, avoid the horrible woman at the counter at the back of the store!

Hannah from the mt barker store deserves 5 stars for not only her outstanding customer service but also for using her initiative and going up and beyond for me. I am truly grateful and wish her all the best :-)

I always find Kmart a great store to shop in. It's clean well stocked and staff are always helpful. The mall is OK as well but car park is tricky as My Barker residents love to hoon through the car park and roads. Caution and wariness is a must.

I just wanted tosay a BIG thanks to Ava, Emily and Leony at the photo counter. They turned what was a bad experience into a good experience. My order of canvas prints was expressly made. Thank you for your awesome customer service..especially Ava.

I just went to Kmart Mount Barker to get something for my son for his birthday and asked a lady who works there if she could help us find a particular item and she was extremely rude to us and didn't really want to help. Perhaps she needs to find another place to work where she doesn't need to help customers in a retail store

Good prices but not much stock. Years ago you could get lots more variety.

I visited on the 12th July at around 1.30. The lady in the fitting rooms was extremely helpful. Thank you so much for helping. After I left the fitting rooms, she actually came and helped me to find the right outfit for a funeral. Couldn't be more thankful for the help. Very impressed.

I made 3 visits at random times on different days and no customer service at all, just self serve. Lost me as a customer! None of the staff, of which there are barely any now, seem happy at all.

The Kodak photo print stations here are a joke. I've used them before with problems but today was the worst. The whole system is broken. The people working there are fine but the machines are a joke. Nothing connects without major issues. What should have taken me 5-10 minutes took well over half an hour. Go to Harvey Norman or someone else.

Really great service compared to the metro stores. Store manager is a gem and you can often find stock you can’t find anywhere else.

I loved my experience in the mount barker outlet, most importantly I loved the friendly and helpful service from Flynn Weatherstone, he saved my marriage and helped me when my wife was giving birth infront of the printers :).

This is really big Kmart which is open late which is amazing. Every Kmart I visit i notice that the shelves are really empty and they never have what you're looking for, this one is no exception. Went in for 6 things, walked out with only three. The self serve checkouts were hectic and a lot of them weren't working & frozen on certain screens with the staff not being able to fix them

I think Kmart needs more fidgets (pop it’s ) because my kid is so disappointed please get more pop it’s glitter pop it’s or glow in the dark

The most friendliest staff I know from any other kmart around! Always go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Always greet you with a friendly smile & welcome. 😀

This place is great has everything a big Kmart has but with the convenience of being in the Adelaide Hills. Atmosphere is chill and relaxed in the main shopping centre of Mt Barker. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend checking this Kmart out

A long walk to find anything, not many choices or much service when we found the right section. Designed for fit young people with very conventional tastes who like to rummage I think. When we found staff they were fairly helpful but had to go away to ask questions so lots of waiting around.

Need more plus size, well made as in having shape, clothing

Good range. Not too sure about having to pay in the middle of the store - it's a bit weird. Apart from that good staff good products.

I'm enjoying my new experience navigating MtBarker shopping precinct and have decided to travel there again with my 7 year old grandson to buy him his first skateboard and safety gear🤞so more comments to come 🤔👍

Excellent products at a good price. Purchased an anko fitness watch for approx $39 bucks. Works very well. The service you get is good as well. My son has even gone into Kmart where he lives & purchased one of the watches. So I'm even advertising for you. 😉😊
