😐 Generally reception staff are wonderful. Some Drs are great, others not so great. That can be personal choice I guess. Beware of those that like you to rebook for every tiny thing, charge for another appointment when sometimes in my opinion it isn't warranted.     Omg they were amazing, I had a flu that was so much worse than covid. The receptionist was amazing and got me cared for and then the doctor got me sorted with their new care facility which saves you from going to the ED. The nurses and doctors there also amazing and had saved someone’s life that morning. And the radiologist caring and supportive. I felt renewed hope that finally the health system had found a way to give care that was efficient, caring and supportive. I was blown away by how good they all were.

    From the moment we entered the medical facility the service was excellent. The receptionists very polite professional and responded to all enquiries positively. Thank you all for making us feel welcome on our first visit. The moment we meet with Dr Jack Fuller he was so interested in what we where there for and asked the questions he needed to know to help my son. He showed a genuine care f and he listened and heard what he had to say. I can honestly say it was great experience , and we are very happy and confident he will sort out my sons requirements. Thank you.

    Receptionist was very polite and informative as it was my first visit. My appointment with Dr Emma Stephenson was great. She is very patient and informative and made sure I understood everything about upcoming surgery. Their was no judging me, which I've had alot in the past. I would highly recommend this clinic. It also has a chemist there too. Very convenient and welcoming place.

    From the moment you walk in you are treated with a smile, that is so important it relieves any stress you might feel going to the doctors.. I have had three different doctors all very professional, The nurses in the treatment room are really careful with treatment again , a nice feeling in that room.

    not happy! my appointment was 54 minutes late! and the receptionist kept telling me it wouldn't be 'too much longer' 'only 15 mins behind schedule'. I had work to get to and missed out on 1 hour of pay. Is the centre going to reimburse me for my lost pay? The centre does not care for the external needs of its patients. A call before hand advising the GP was running behind or, even upon arrival would've been courteous. This is not the first time this has occurred either. 8/10 times i am waiting an extremely long time for my appointment.

    Having recently relocated from interstate with a complicated medical history, my first visit to GPcare was exceptional. From the initial greeting at front desk, lovely waiting area, attentive Doctor and the no fuss profession approach from reception staff. This will definitely be my regular clinic now.

    My local medical centre. Great staff. Multi professionals all in a one stop shop, so to speak. It is some time since I wrote this review but I can only reiterate my review. My original doctor has since retired so the new lad and I get along fine. ( I think). The staff as usual are always professional, polite and efficient. Thanks.

    Apart from a few doctors keeping you waiting I have no complaints about the practice. The receptionists are amazingly helpful

    I feel very loyal to GP care, we’ve had some really lovely doctors over the last 5 years, Dr Jack, Dr Juthi and now Dr Lloyd, having a good doctor is really important when you have a young family. And reception staff have always been super helpful and accommodating, we also love Nurse Sally!!

    Yes, summit health is good, too many doctors are more concerned about saving there own skin, rather than doing what needs to be done to actually help patients.. Summit health has always tried to help.. Thank u..

    There are a lot of issues currently with GP care Mt Barker. When you ring, it takes minutes to get through due to the long pre recorded message prior to getting through to reception. When you check in, the reception staff ask so many personal questions about your date of birth, address, even if you have just been in a week prior. I rang the surgery as I was running 5 mins late. I asked if the Dr was running to time which they said yes. When we arrived and checked in, we waited 50 minutes until we were finally seen. We were told my daughters sore throat was simply at day one and to come back if it gets worse. Which is simply more time and money for us as a family. Then to top off the experience, my daughter was given a sick certificate with another males details on it. When I rang the surgery back to let them know, they took my email and said they would email through the correct sick certificate. I am yet to receive this email. I am sick of the kind of service I receive at GP Care. It is simply not good enough.

    Hotdoc information input a waste of time. So is the follow up GPcare "appointment details" text message. The Facilities are excellent. Clean and spacious. Doctor failed to listen, input information on patient file however he interpreted it, and offered the most basic treatment option with a 4 week "wait and see" follow up. Dismissive at best and lazy at worst. Reception staff were lovely and professional.

    I had the best experience today with Dr. Ashlee smallwood-simpson. She was on time, very open to communication and I felt really at ease with her. Would have to be the best experience I've had with a doctor in years. I felt listened to and heard.

    I have attended GP Care since it originally opened. I have always found the staff and medical care to of the highest quality. It has become a one stop shop for a total range of medical needs along with visiting specialists. I have no hesitation in recommending this health clinic.

    This was the best vaccination experience my 5yo has had! The nurse and Dr were so kind and friendly, were playful and distracting from the get go, so she hardly noticed the needle! If this experience is the norm, I'd consider making this my regular child vax GP!

    Doctor Mills, listened to what I had to say as I was consulting with him the first time. He appears as good as my GP in Victoria. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    Fee's quite high, but it's been a while since I've been to a GP who doesn't bulk bill. Thourough assessment and no excessive waiting time when at appointment. Wait to get in to see someone can be long-is depending on availability. Waiting area large and well laid-out.

    Very efficient at reception and quick service. I had to walk from far end carpark which made me struggle with my sore knee which is about to be replaced. Anaesthetist very amiable and nurse very kind.

    So easy to book in as a new patient. We were able to get an appointment quickly and the doctor we saw was just lovely. I’ll be switching my family over to this centre as it’s a one stop shop for healthcare.

    Receptionists were lovely and Dr Jeremy Wells was very easy to talk to and gave me such great information about my procedure that I'm not feeling nervous at all about it. Plus I could pick up lunch and a coffee on the way out. I really enjoyed my experience at GP care.

    I was lucky to receive exceptional and very thorough care this afternoon after securing a last minute appointment. Follow up booked in. Everything could be done at the one place, and the pharmacy was still open. Excellent staff at front desk and throughout. Hoping for good results.

    This was my first time going to this service. The first initial contact is the ladies that work behind the counter. Cannot remember her name however she was so polite and friendly it just makes going to the Drs more comfortable. The layout of the clinic is well designed, easy access and cleanly presented.

    I have taken my kids to Summit Health GPcare and used them for myself for some years, and every GP we have dealt with has been excellent - knowledgeable, unrushed and pleasant. Availability has usually been good too in terms of getting appointments.

    Consultation was only to get a script renewed and I got that done easily. I did however find it difficult to fully understand the doctor due to his heavy accent.

    Highly professional practice. The pre-op anaesthetist I saw (Dr A Travis) was extremely thorough and put my mind at ease on what to expect on the day. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice. Regards C.

    My Doctor was 40 minutes late for the appointment, but what’s new!. At least it’s a very comfortable and modern area to wait in. All staff were polite and helpful.

😠 Unfortunately can't give 0 stars. Quite possibly the rudest and worst treatment from Dr Mark Keen. Will be looking into making a formal complaint about his behaviour and nasty attitude. Avoid at all costs. Especially if dealing with serious mental health issues.
