👍👍 Had a great visit to the historium recently! It’s a little text heavy but really well done. We learned a lot and had a great couple of hours here. Centrally located in the downtown area, it was super easy to find a good restaurant for lunch after. I’d recommend Skal! People often mention museum, history,

Nice little museum with a fun "living room" exhibit (18 mo exhibit, not permanent). Rest of museum shows history of Mt. Horeb and surrounding communities. There's a near- full size general store inside. That was cool. Volunteer who was working was super nice guy. Fun gift shop with unique items. Entry fee to small museum was $7 per adult.

This place is great. There's a shop inside with extensive Wisconsin-specific books ranging from rare Native American books to Scandinavian settlement to gay Wisconsin history to Wisconsin public radio history. The museum, beyond the shop, is also one-of-a-kind and inexpensive. You could spend anywhere from 15 mins to 1.5 hours here. I love it.

Small, quiet and accessible museum. The everyday exhibits are interesting and well curated, but the real star are the special events. The Native art fair was beautifully organized and made supporting Native artists so accessible and easy.

Cute little museum filled with area history, stuffed with objects and displays. Very cool exhibit about old and modern stereoscopic photographs. Super cool VR exhibit about a few long gone buildings too, quite the gem!

A small charge to keep this place going is well worth the money spent. Play around with the virtual reality headset, see more trolls, and learn about the history of Wisconsin. This place has some very unique pieces you won't find elsewhere. A menagerie of different artwork, it's truly one if a kind. I was disappointed to see Little Norway was no more, but this has many of their pieces. A must see when you're in the area, please stop in to keep this around for future generations. It is an interactive museum, art gallery, and gift shop, the likes of which you won't find elsewhere.

We always stop by when we visit Mt. Horeb. Friendly staff, awesome exhibits and fun giftshop! Of course, there are trolls everywhere you look. Highly recommend stopping by!
