This is the main hospital of Sri Lanka Army and one of the largest hospitals in South Asia in which this serves for the tri- forces including Police and their family members. This military hospital consists of around 10 floors and around 21 wards. The environment is very well maintained by the Army personnel itself. The place is so clean and neat except the wash rooms. Most of the wash rooms need to be renovated and need to clean continuously due to the huge population that they receive per day. However, the cafeteria and the garden are very well maintained by themselves. The hospital has latest technologies and latest equipment including pathology laboratory and sophisticated radiology unit. At the same time they have talented and experienced consultants and other medical officers to cater the needs of the patients. The place is easily accessible as it is facing the main road, Colombo 05. But parking is not allowed to visitors and hence kinda difficult to park the cars. Ample parking is available there but only to military personnel. If you are a visitor, you need get a visitor pass before entering the hospital. However most of all the people are courteous and attenting to the needs of the patients and the ones who seeks details.

I got my Pfizer vaccine here at Army/ Miltry Hospital the staff was super friendly and fast service. You need to have a valid passport and university offer letter to get your vaccine (Pfizer).

I think this somewhat a needy thing as, Army soldiers are the ones who directly faced terrorist war and they have suffered a lot for the sake of all Sri Lankans. This place considered as the largest ever military hospital in Sri Lanka. More than 1,024 beds and, it has 21 wards, 12 dental surgery units and 09 operation theaters. The vast complex is equipped with a Sterilization and Supply Division (SSD) facilities, MRI scanning facilities, a roof-top helicopter pad, automatic x-ray screening machines, two modular operation theaters, Pathology Laboratory, Radiology Unit, Dermatology Unit, VIP rooms, Medical Air and Nurses calling facilities, labour room, a canteen and an auditorium with 314 seats. This hospital can treat more than 1,000 out patients (OPD) daily. Hope this place will have more facilities under this government.

I went to get my vaccine to Narahenpita Army hospital. Everything was perfect except the way some army officers treated normal people. There were two Army officers who were checking the passports and the offer letters. But one officer talked to people who came to get the vaccine, in a rude way. And some nurses too. I highly appreciate if they can treat people in a good way. Because most of the people come there with various types of mentality. Some would be panic. So, even a friendly smile can make a person happy.😊

Got the Phizer vaccine with the University offer letter and passport copy. Friendly staffs, excellent services and highly recommended for those who are not take their vaccine yet. Booster shots also available that who are looking for their shots.

Very poor service. I went here with my grandpa. He's a retired person. Every time we experience a huge queue. Also we have to go 2 days, one day for consultation and the other day for get the medicine ( tablets,capsules,etc...). Worst service I always experience. Every person who comes to here is a patient. They can't hangout much more time and some people can't come twice here for the same reason. All are not near to Colombo. My grandpa is an old person, so he can't go here and there. But every time we experience this kind of service.

I have been to the Army H in Colombo 5 twice - on both occasions I had to go to the IT division on the 3rd floor. Very efficient staff and they rectified the vaccination details on their system without any problems. It appears to be a top-notch hospital and I think it is meant for army personnel

But you have to be an officer or an other ranker of Sri Lanka army or a family member in order to take treatments.

Absolutely DISAPPOINTED with the Army hospital! I had gotten my pre departure vaccine appointment for the 9th of Sep... And when i went there at the allocated time....i was very rudely told to stand in a queue of about 500 people.... Who 1. Didn't have any appointment... That is walk-in... Or 2. Were coming for their second dose of sinopharm... I decided i was more at risk standing in that queue and just walked away... So thank you army hospital for making me miss my appointment!

disappointed big time. poor time management tbh. with loads of people waiting to get their vaccine in such a small area. no social distancing is even practice. just tons of people standing stick to each other for hours in the heat, people coughing from left to right. I hope they fix this up any soon and get a bigger area to vaccinate people.

The leading military hospital in the island. The service, care, cleanliness are unparalleled. I was quite devastated to have the vaccine seeing the ques at Vihara maha devi park two days back. I had no intention of getting the vaccine, yet i just sneaked in to the army hospital today morning to see the possibility. Believe me, i came out getting the first dose of the vaccine within just 10 minutes. Everything was perfectly planned and methodical.

Vaccine -The individuals in the computer area and the doctors were really nice and gave a good service. I felt safe .they were really kind ! The officers were a bit strict but Its understandable if not people will do everything they want and create a mess but due to there strict discipline everything went well. Good experience indeed.also gave us refreshments afterwards that was sweet.
