I know this place has great reviews but “personally” it wasn’t our style. We knew that the place is known for the in house pasta noodles and knew it would be wider than what we’re used to but it was very thick and floury. The salad was excellent though. Ended up spending lots and not eating most.

Never a quiet dining room. Always enjoy the filling savory menu items: Fresh pastas by the meter. Fresh ingredients, and sauces. Worth the wait or reservation. Chilli Prawn pasta was flavourless and tasted like boiled vegetable water and lemon. Other tomato based seafood pasta was ok.

Had dinner with a group of 10 friends on a Thursday night and the restaurant was half full so getting a seat was quite easy. Had the basil pesto pasta with classic noodles, which I liked but couldn't finish. The standard size of the pasta noodles is 3m, I probably only ate 1m at most. I was able to take it away for lunch the next day! 🤗 Food came out promptly and service was good. The pasta is ok depending on which dish and noodle you get. Good for group gatherings.

I always have a great experience here. Solo Pasta is a very fun place to bring a group of friends and family. The staff are really friendly, and their pasta is delicious. I love the concept of pasta by the metre. Choose your pasta, sauce, and then eat all of it ❤️☺️ Solo also does delicious cocktails. My fave is their pavlova 😱

Taste is good. I recommended booking before go there. The pasta started at 3 meters with various pasta style and taste. Price start at 24$. Over is fine !

Most enjoyable. Meet and greet by the young man who also took our order. Apart from the table talk sounds a pleasure to have a late dinner in the suburbs not too far away from home.

Service was a bit slow with entree arriving before our drinks (wine) and but pastas were fresh & tasty and serving size was great. All 3 pastas had olives in it despite only one listing that as a key ingredient. Dessert was delicious and tasty! The 'size does matter' t-shirts are outdated and should go. Does nothing for them! Parking on busy Beaufort St is tricky but there are places close by.

Had an enjoyable dinner in this place! The pasta tasted really good; generous portions, also ordered the pavlova cocktail and it was like having dessert in a drink. Definitely will come back.

The food was lovely, they are not shy when it comes to service, by no means is it traditional or regional Italian cuisine. But the food was nice.

Yummy concept cafe. Delicious pasta without being extraordinary, especially for the price. Def not in the cheap eats category! Service is friendly and fast. Drinks list is substantial. All the sauces we tried at our table were beautifully presented and flavoured. But we found $150 for 5 peeps a bit steep

Was the more expensive meal in our trip to Perth. The Tas mussel well they where cooked but not tonight as they where fridge cold. The other meals is just what you could cook at home. Very noise it will leave your ears ring was very busy so I was expecting more out of the flavour. If the cost was cheaper I would say you got value for money.

Came on a Wednesday night and it was extremely loud when we got in. Could barely hear the waiter and my friends at the table. Once the food came, it was amazing. First time I’ve come here and it will definitely be one of my regular places from now on. The beef fillet cream base pasta is so good!! I devoured it so fast that I was wanting another bowl after I was done (yes, it was that good). The wait staff was super friendly and once it quietened down in the restaurant the atmosphere was lovely as we weren’t shouting over each other anymore. Tiramisu was also excellent.

From order to food in front of us was 6 minutes. There was little care in the pre prepared slop of pasta we received. If it was like $16 it would have its place but don’t charge $28 for this pasta cup tat. Meals were cleared before the drinks even came out and we felt rushed the whole time. We were out the door in 20 minutes from arriving. It’s overpriced fast food. Plenty of other nice Italian around Perth.

Probably one of the best, if not the best, pasta experiences I've had in Perth. I don't really have anything to complain about. There's an amazing range of sauces, and I love how you can choose the amount of pasta you get. The entrees were beautiful. The food came out really fast after ordering. The customer service was great. All round 10/10. Would recommend and would come back (and already have!!).

A very popular and busy pasta place that goes on the cool concept of pasta by the metre. The standard serve is three metres and you can pay for extra metres. You choose your pasta type which includes regular, tomato or spinach infused pasta options, and there's even a lower carb option of zucchini pasta. Next there's plenty of options of sauces and toppings catering to your desires of vegetarian, different types of meat and seafood, and olive oil, tomato and creamy sauces. Complementing the pasta, there's also some choices of appetisers and salads. The venue is lively and good for a reasonably quick feed of decent pasta. Given how busy they get during peak times, you should book ahead if you want to make sure you get a spot.

Really lovely pasta and friendly staff. The pumpkin purée pasta was really delicious. I loved the option of having a paper straw or dried pasta straw for my drink - very cute but I forgot to get a photo!

An enjoyable night out given we hadn't booked a table. Solo Pasta were able to fit us in and were upfront about the timeframe we had. We were stuffed full well before then. Everything was delicious and would happily go back again... with a booking. Pictured: 1) Lemon pepper calamari 2) Spinach flavoured pasta with tomato based meat lovers, chorizo, beef fillet, tender chicken, bacon, dash of cream - Beetroot flavoured pasta with cream based WA beef fillet, white button mushrooms, porcini, cracked pepper, fresh grated parmesan 3) Sticky date pudding - Belgian dark chocolate mousse 4) Dark and stormy - Frozen strawberry daiquiri

The only reason why I gave 4 stars is due to uncooked pasta on one of the dish that we had. Even though it is just part of the dish, still it is being unpleasant having uneven texture with parts not cooked and still sticks together. Understandable that they are packed and busy, this is why I cant be bothered complaining as we were really hungry and just savour it. Sauce were great.

I think here’s pasta was great! You can add your pasta noodle in meters(it’s great for people who eat big amount of food). But 3m(basic) is quite big already😂 Staffs were so witty and nice. But if you don’t order drinks, they don’t like it. Anyway, I liked their pasta. And I‘ve packed the leftovers. Cuz it’s a lot. So couldn’t finished.

We went to have dinner tonight. We were very lucky to have Margarita looking after our table, she was very kind and helpful. She even let me practice italian with her. The vegan pasta was really good ! It would be lovely if at least one vegan dessert (or more) could be added to the menu. Very nice … grazie Margarita !

We had a really fun and enjoyable meal at Solo Pasta tonight. The staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. There was so much choice on the menu, they also provided plenty of vegan options. There was 5 of us tonight and everyone absolutely loved their meals, my husband said he inhaled his because it was so yum. The restaurant did become very busy and a little loud but not to over the top. Parking was a bit tricky as most spots we found was only 1hr parking zones.

Amazing pasta with great friendly attentive service. Good sized portions, beautiful flavoured food with sensational fresh pasta. Do yourself a flavour and get in there for a taste of Italy.

So many good choices on the menu, I try a new flavour every time. I get gluten free pasta and it’s delicious. Desserts and cocktails are yummy too! I get 3m with dessert but if not having dessert, I’d go maybe 4-5m of pasta.

Ridiculously good pasta at such an affordable price! This has to be one of the top pasta places in Perth, second only to my Nonna's homemade! Very friendly staff and awesome cocktails from the bartender! Highly recommend!

Reasonably priced pasta with plenty of options including gluten free and vegan dishes. One bown has 3 meters of pasta as standard and extra can be added. Not knowing exactly how big that was going to be I just stuck with that and it was definitely enough to fill you up. To go with it is an excellent range of cocktails as well

Absolutely incredible. Definitely the best Italian I've ever had. Happy staff, beautiful restaurant, quick service. I got the spinach style chicken curry pasta, while my friend got gluten free Bolognese. Definitely will be coming back again and again. The experience couldn't have gone better.

It’s rare to get great service like this in Perth. Food is delicious and has a busy vibe. The one down side is because it’s busy people stand around at the entrance and next to the tables where people eat. It would be appreciated if they were moved outside or in another area. Would return again

Dayum that's some good pasta! I had the spinach pasta, with olive oil and wagyu beef. Not much meat but the pasta and the strong flavours were delicious!! I ordered an extra "metre" but it didn't really feel like it was an extra metre of pasta, but it tastes good enough to make up for it.

Service was attentive and pleasant. Eventhough the restaurant was packed food came out quite quickly. We ordered the arancini to start and the tomato chutney it came with was a real delight and had a very unique "indian" flavour to it. We also ordered the beef and reef and chorizo pastas and they were cooked very well and full of flavour, not too salty or overly heavy. Pasta was also very al dente which is always a plus.

5th time here, the pasta has been consistently brilliant every time, but what really tops it off is the passionate and fantastic customer service and conversation with the team, Iggy was our host tonight, and it has been a long time since I have experienced a hospitality service quite like his. Thank you for a special night.

Nice place to eat pasta

Consistently the best pasta we've ever had. We love the range, the vegetarian and vegan options, and every dish we've tried has been amazing time and time again. One of our favourite places to go!

This place has lost its touch. It used to be my go to when it first opened. A couple years later, it’s not aged well. Our cróquettes were fridge cold in the middle, sent it back and out came another lot with a cold centre. Tasted a bit like a store bought frozen croquette. Unfortunate. Pasta was meh, salty. The carbonara was cream on cream and more cream, not much else to it.

Had the seafood pasta it was easily the best I have had.

Everything about this place was really lovely, the food, the service and the manager. My only complaint was from a comment made by the one of the wait staff, however it was his first day.

We came for date night on a Friday night. I had read about the pasta by meter concept and was really excited. We had entrées of lemon pepper calamari and arancini. I had never had oblong shaped arancini before and was intrigued. The calamari was cooked well and delicious. He had 4 meters of traditional pasta with the catbonara sauce. The base serve of pasta is 3 meters, and for an extra 4.50 per metre, it adds up to a lot of food. I had the spinach pasta in base serve, with seafood tomato sauce. We both loved the fresh papadelle pasta and respective sauces. We are keen to return and try different combinations. Oh and the Aussie mule cocktail was delicious and refreshing.

Absolutely divine. Loved the calamari the best. Soft, juicy and just enough spice. You'll never go wrong with this dish.

Was walking down the street and saw this place was booming. Decided to go in and met the owner and awesome staff, so decided to have dinner. Had no idea what I ordered or how it would taste but it was absolutely amazing!!! 10/10 will be bringing my friends their soon!

The pasta was incredible, I ordered the gluten free and you couldn't even tell! It had the same texture and taste as regular pasta, can't wait to go back. Cocktails were also amazing and a really good price, atleast $5 cheaper than a cocktail at any other bar in Perth.

Fast service, awesome pasta

Arancini was good but Beetroot tomato based vegetarian pasta was horrible!! Uncooked pasta and flavour less sauce. Such a waste.
