Well I heard laughing 😃 as I walked in so I started laughing loud myself, everyone stopped and turned and looked at me and I said I just wanted to be part of the crowd. The owner shouted that's just what we like 👍. So everyone laughed and went back to their conversations. I had the meat ravioli it was delicious 😋. My friend had the gnocchi. We had amazing 🔥 HOT from the oven Bread. So good. Blessings, John

Smallest oysters we've ever seen, vegetables were not fresh, not seasoned and dry. Salmon was just ok both pastas were good as well as clams

An incredible Italian experience at Shasta. Amazing vegetarian options. We had pesto gnocchi and eggplant Parmesan that was incredible! For the dessert we had pumpkin cannoli that was probably the best. The service was incredible, overall highly recommend this place in this town.

We stayed in town at their Hotel across the street which was great, so we decided to go out for a romatic dinner for two. We orderd appetizers, drinks, dinner, desert, the works... Big, big disappointment! Service was terrible and I mean terrible! The meals are way way over priced (ridiculously small portions) for what you get, the drinks are light, the desert was slopped into a to-go container, they forgot the whipped cream and fruit, we couldnt wait to get out of there. The whole dinner was a complete let down, only reason they get any stars is the setting and the view of Mt. Shasta, not the food or service... Go get a Happy meal and go grab a park bench, save your money and skip this place, you'll be much happier... Live n learn as they say. We wont be back...

Just ordered this pasta at 9:10pm. And this is what $20 pasta looks like here. Very unhappy. Barley any sauce. It's very dry. This is crazy!

Great atmosphere, great service, yummy food. This is my first time at this place and I'll definitely be back. I had fried ravioli for an appetizer and the gnocchi with bolognese for dinner. So good.

Whenever I need some comfort food that reminds me of Grandma, it’s clam linguine… just now had Mike and Tony’s and they nailed it! So good! Thank you 😊

Nice place and worth eating at. Good place to grab a little wine and dinner with a friend. The pastas are pretty decent.

We ate here tonight and was VERY disappointed!! The food is definitely not worth the price. The chicken fettuccine sauce was very watery, not nice and creamy and there wasn't hardly any on it. We had to ask for more watery sauce. The salad, which you have to order separately (everything is alacarte) was $14 and wasn't much to it at all and again not hardly any dressing. The only thing that was half way descent was the bread. WAY over priced for the little portions and quality of food. Our waitresses was nice and a good server. We definitely won't be back!!

Very good Italian food. This was our first time here, visiting from our of state. The service was great in a busy night. Would highly recommend. The complimentary rolls were some of my favorite ever.

great Italian food. I got the Calamari steak and it was delicious. Others had the fish and some had the clam linguini some just had pasta. All portions were adequate and the service was great.

Pros and cons... Pros: the two servers we had were very sweet and helpful, quite adorable. The seating is comfortable and atmosphere is relaxed. Cons: the food was overpriced for small, rather bland portions. We paid $8 for a shallow puddle of thin and watery chowder. It came in a "bowl" that was little more than a saucer. The garlic bread, which should have been included with the order as a side, was thin, soft, and soggy with olive oil, the garlic was burned and bitter, and came at an additional $8. The fettuccini with sliced chicken was a small portion for $18 and, although the pasta itself was quite good, there wasn't much sauce and the chicken was almost flavorless. There was no salad or side vegetables or bread--those could have been ordered for additional charges. Very sub-par dinner and not worth the price.

Great customer service! And the pomodoro sauce is amazing, the perfect amount of heat and flavor. I had the seasonal Fall Mule too, if you like cran- ginger ale, you’ll like this one!

I went with the penne pesto and veggies, though they didn’t have penne and replaced it without informing. The taste was okay, I thought the pasta itself was slightly colder compared to the pesto and veggies which seemed a bit odd. Overall I didn’t have a good experience.

Great food....however inconsistent prices. Confused as their website menu had different prices than what I was charged. For My 2 person to go order I was charged 18% gratuity! I always tip on To go orders...however never heard of 18% automatically added unless a large group. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL

I Left my Card there on a Friday called on Saturday they had my card but I was out on the coast for the weekend. I couldn't possibly make it to the restaurant by 8oclock Saturday night. So I had to wait till Wednesday when they reopend. I called the restaurant as soon as I was out of work on Wednesday . The restaurant told me they destroyed my card. Knowing I had called for it Saturday and told them I couldn't make it. I was not told they would destroy my card when I called. Not happy at all. It was thier policy to destroy after 24 hours.

Don’t get your pasta with the alfredo sauce, it’s bland and ruined the gnocchi for me. My partner got the gnocchi with the pesto and it was a bit better. The chicken parm was good and she liked her eggplant parm. We chose this place for Valentines after it was recommended to us. The feng shui was odd for an italian place but I guess that’s what makes it “American italian”

We had dinner here twice within two weeks. The first time everything was very good. The drinks , appetizers , pasta and service were all top notch. Second time not so much, yes it was busy but the appetizer came before the drinks and the salad and main course showd up at the same time. Food was still good but service struggled. Would I go back, yes we would

We had an amazing night at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the waitress was nice and polite. The restaurant was crowded and we were waiting a little bit longer than expected. But it didn’t spoil the experience.

Always a great experience when we dine or meet at the bar. Love the traditional anti pasta plates that come with dinner. We had pesto linguine with chicken and petrale sole with angel hair pasta on the side. Yummy on a rainy night and very busy for a Wed. Lots of locals eat here and for good reason!

This was a great place. Fried Zucchini is my favorite and it tasted fresh. At one point I got a type of pasta I didn't care for, not that anything was wrong with it just not my thing, the waitress gave me tips on how to ask for what I wanted. Even though we came in shortly before closing, there were no problems and we weren't rushed. I had a great experience and will definitely go again.

Classic Italian food with rich house-made sauces. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. I would request a few more items which weren't breaded, otherwise, highly recommend.

Nice restaurant. Good food. Great service. I could, however, do without the fascist iconography on the way to the bathroom. And by “fascist”, I don’t mean “politics I disagree with”, I mean an actual picture of Mussolini, complete with a fascist slogan and the “fascio” (bundle of sticks) symbol. Maybe it’s just me, but blackshirts and the axis powers aren’t my favorite things to think about while I use the pishadoo…

We loved this place! Great atmosphere, funny posters here and there, nice service, delicious food and lovely service. Vegetarian options are well marked - and the waiters are always willing to help! We were here twice during our small vacation, and the second time was even better than the first 😅 Loved it and would recommend to anyone staying nearby.

Wish I could give it a higher rating but after my partner and I were pointedly ignored while sitting at the bar for 15 min while the bartender served everyone around us, we had no choice but to assume our kind was not welcome and leave. A shame a since we heard the bartender talking at length with the patrons next to us about how the restaurant has had such a good reputation since 1945. Sadly, it seems as though some of the values of the staff remain stuck in 1945.

The whole experience was fantastic. I had dinner at the bar with a friendly and helpful bartender. I ordered fried calamari and home-made gnocchi Bolognese. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. Don't miss this restaurant when you're in town!
