Very appealing park...They have much more than I photographed. We spent time in the grassy area between where we parked and the baseball fenced in area. They have plenty of trees 🌳 😀 for shade. Some people were throwing a football and having a good time. All in All a great place to spend the day. Blessings, John

We stopped at Shastice Park the first night of our Summer road trip from Tigard, OR through Northern California. We stayed in Mount Shasta a couple of days to hike the amazing trails that are nearby. The Park is very close to town and very easy to get to. As seen in the photos there are amazing views of Mount Shasta from the park. And there are plenty of open green spaces to relax or picnic; as well as a very large Community Garden. The enclosed dog park is fantastic! It is very large, has plenty of trees for shade, has a water bowl and faucet, and has picnic tables. If you are in the area and are looking for an excellent dog park, then definitely give them it a try.

So there is a secret place to play with your pochies behind the park accessible through the road by the railroad tracks next to the high school totally off road. It is fenced has water and big dog and little dog areas. You can also access it from the main park but is a half mile walk easy grass but still a long walk. Plus skate park, winter ice skating, tennis, BBQ, basketball and basketball areas. But there is a dog park use Google map and see trail follow the power poles. Have fun .

Great travel stop for kids AND dogs! Shady dog park, fun play structure, clean bathrooms, and just a short jaunt from the freeway. Thanks, My Shasta City for a great pitstop!!

I was so surprised when I took my kids to go ice skating for our first time and seeing a skatepark up in Mount Shasta. The transitions look perfect and like a lot of fun. We could only skate on part of the park due to the snow, but we will be going back soon to make a skate video.

Love this place. Very busy in warmer months but in the fall, winter my little dog can run freely all over the big dog park when no one is there but us. Well maintained, nothing broken and the fencing is in great shape! I appreciate this for the safety of my dog.

Went to watch a soccer game and enjoyed every minute. Ice cream truck drive through with treats and there was something to do for everyone. Skatepark, playground, open fields, and a great view of mt. Shasta.

Stopped here on our road trip to let the dog get some exercise. She loved the grass. We found some shade. It was such a happy park filled with people on a weeknight.

Had a great time. I've never been ice skating. Took my wife and kids today. It was a Really cool little spot. I think the prices are super fair, I love that they don't charge for the helper things That the kids use on the ice. They played music and the two staff members were really friendly.

This is a great little park in the City of Mount Shasta. We were looking for a park with great views of Mount Shasta and this place did NOT disappoint. If you're looking for that, definitely head to the soccer field where - as long as there's no game being played - you can lay out a blanket and picnic right in front of California's fifth largest mountain. Also, there is a skate park and an ice rink located in the same complex - so definitely worth checking out.

Good fun! Not a true pumptrack but the flow trails are great! Easy up trail, great jumps! Very forgiving for beginners.

This park has a big playground, picnic tables, and lots of grass for kids to run around on. There's a nice skate park, and a fun ice skating rink in the winter. And, you can't get better views of beautiful Mt. Shasta.

A nice little skatepark with lots of features. The gateway trail system connects to this park so you can mountain bike for 75 miles from the park and not hit the same trail twice! There are ball fields, picnic tables, a pump track, some dirt jumps, an ice rink and lots of green grass to spread out on. The most delicious water comes right out of the fountain!!
