I've been to Jumas a few times over the year. I've enjoyed lunch, dinner, and beach day chill with beach chairs. The food is mostly consistent, very tasty on the best days it really hits the spot with the flavor. The restaurant is very casual, calm, great views. The sun cab be beaming hot during the day. There BBQ is a must have, try the ribs you won't regret it. Jumas is great for any occasion. Feels like they are always open. The staff is pretty good too. Last visit they had live music which made the Sunday dinner even better.

Perfect beach and perfect restaurant and hang for locals and tourists. The menu is excellent and the food is delicious. The mango ribs... oh the ribs. And the beach chairs are right on the surf so the water comes to your feet. I love Juma"s.

You read reviews and form opinions, this place is a great location and great food. Great staff, if they don't know they went away and got answers...booked again. Update...we love this place...chicken rum pate or flying fish pate to die for....

A very nice little restaurant looking out to the sea. Good quality food and lovely staff.

We visit Jumas at least once during our yearly visits and normally get a solid meal with great service. Not this year! I know Covid has wreaked havoc with staffing but this year the service staff was clearly overworked and unsupported by management (who just seemed to sit at the bar chatting). They are clearly afraid of him because our server only wanted to take two or three glasses at time for fear of breaking one and being charged $50 for replacement. Our dinner was marred by slow service , a large cockroach that danced on the wall and ceiling as we ate, and an awful, too loud 90’s alternative duo that did not sure the ambiance at all. The food was substandard. The lobster “bisque” was so spicy that it was inedible. The person that had it managed to get through 3/4 of it before giving up. Our server was impressed “most only get through half” (perhaps someone should tell the chef that or at least warn diners when they order it). The lobster was tough and tasted “off”, the steak was a thin piece of hanger steak, the spaghetti Bolognese was also surprisingly spicy, and the seafood linguine was a mush of over cooked spaghetti. Give Jumas a pass until they get their act together.

Great customer service and a relaxing atmosphere offer great views of the beach. Food tasted amazing but on the pricey side.

Service was A*, perfect sunset view, food was great, can’t fault anything, even did a full breakfast for my fussy daughter and it’s was 5pm 👍🏅

Juma's is a culinary delight, especially their fish dish and shrimp curry – both packed with flavor. The perfectly cooked burger and friendly staff enhance the experience. The only downside: the roti sauce was identical to the curry sauce. Despite this, it's a top-notch dining spot with a great location. Rating: 10/10. Highly recommended!

Would have been 5 stars if not for slow and sometimes rude servers. The Rediscover menu $99 US for 2 includes 3 course meal, bottle of wine per couple, and free bus ride return is one of the best deals on the West Coast for a night out with beach front sunsets. This review is based on multiple occasions with others all recently receiving the same or similar service. The entertainment is good with live music and other local entertainment most nights.

What a place! Right on the beach, great staff, lovely menu, fab specials board And the food was delicious, flavourful and lots of it. Good value for money compared to some of its neighbours

Had dinner here last night and really enjoyed the food. Cocktails were prepared fresh. We had to wait for our food a bit longer than usual for Barbados, but you could see that they were understaffed and had couple of big tables to serve at the same time. We would happily come back, pity we didn’t try them earlier

I so badly wanted to like this place. The view was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. We didn’t have any issue with wait times like so many others have said in other reviews- we were however, the only ones in there Food was really mediocre and overpriced. 3 wings for $35 Barbados dollars. I have never seen wings so expensive on any other menu in Barbados.

Visites here for a casual meal. The food was horrible. The service was horrible. The servers were horrible and very unattractive and unappealing. Certainly if you are in the service industry, you must ensure that you atleast look decent. Her locs looked horrible and her outfit looked like they came from good will. 100% do not recommend here at all. Wish I listened to the negative reviews. Update: I have NEVER sat on your beach chairs so I am very confused and disturbed by these claims. You are a very delusional person and cannot handle reviews. I visited your restaurant and hated the service. I sat at a table with an old ripped cloth, cutlery (not polished properly), unpolished glasses, horrible laid off setting and horrible food. To make it worse I was given a PAPER bill written in PEN INK! Talk about cheap and distasteful.

The fish cakes here are heavenly, but when the pizza came out it was very obvious it had been baked quite awhile before we ordered and had very little flavor. The fish of the day plate was very delicious! Mixed feelings here, thus four stars.

The food was swimming in oil hardly any flavour at all. And the bajan chicken was very disappointing to an actual bajan. The dessert strong acquired taste when the alcohol drinks were watered down. Overall service was pleasant but snail paste. The best thing was the environment which gave a nice ambiance near the seaside.

It was awful. The card machine was not working all day and no one said a thing until after our meal. The owner then rushed out of nowhere and started shouting in my face. Zero out of 10 stars the food was undesirable and the customer service very poor. They charged us $25 for an amaretto sour and the glass was filled with ice. I do not recommend!

The ambience is breathtaking as you are treated to a wonderful view of the island's idyllic waters. Furthermore, the beautifully displayed artwork of local artists provides a richer setting. The service was ok. The presentation of the food was excellent and the food itself was good. Will try again.

Fantastic food, great service and a wonderful location right on the beach. Although there are reviews here claiming slow service, this was not our experience. Service was friendly, courteous and efficient. We returned several times for lunch and dinner and it was spot on every time.

Arrived 1.30 starters arrived 1.5 hours later husband had to keep going to bar for drinks lunch 40 mins after starters so understaffed. Burger fell apart like mince definitely not a burger waitress got moaned at such a shame she worked her fingers to the bone. Would we go again no - shame as when it was in the other place it was lovely 😞

The atmosphere and music (Chris on guitar) was great. The service was terrible. Nobody offered us anything after our order went in. We had to go to the bar to remind about our bottle of wine and ask for anything - ice, water etc. Two appetizers arrived 90 minutes after ordering - and only after we asked about them several times. At over 2 hours after our arrival we’d had enough. We told the waitress that if our dinners were not in the process of cooking to forget it. She said they had not started so we left (10:30 pm) hungry and disappointed.

The food was nice and the service was good. Another beautiful view in Barbados. 4 star as opposed to 5 as the price for the quality of the food offering we felt was better elsewhere.

Make reservations! Particularly on speacial occasions when they have a Full moon party! Our server Leary was really thoughtful and secure downstairs seating for us in time for a birthday serenade! Food is delicious, dessert and ice cream awesome! Get the apple crumble and rum raisin ice cream!

My wife and I dined at Juma's this evening and the total experience was wonderful. We were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was fully booked. However, they found us a table and we are so happy they did. The music all evening was so relaxing, we sang along and grooved. The food was exemplary, as was the staff,so much so I left a large tip. This was ,most definitely, the highlight of our holiday. We are left wondering if we can squeeze another visit in before we go home. Go to Jum's,you will not be disappointed.

Had one fantastic meal (dinner) and one horrendous meal (between lunch and dinner) can only assume the proper chef wasn't on duty. The waitress was obviously really new and needs some extra training. The location is stunning!

Without a doubt the worst experience of our stay in Barbados. We ordered cocktails from the menu which took over an hour to arrive, in fact they had completely forgotten the order. Three cocktails arrived but not the fourth, this took another ten minutes and some chasing by which time the three cocktails were all warm. Perhaps the worst bit was that they actually charged our card twice, which they said was a problem then when we left (after paying twice) they actually chased us down the road claiming we hadn’t paid, it was only after we showed them the bank app on our phone that they refunded the amount, with no apology they just blamed each other, it wasn’t even busy. Terrible service and rude and indifferent staff. Definitely not a place to recommend

Catch of the day always cooked beautiful, blackened seasoning full of flavour, lobster bisque nice and rich. Staff attentive, helpful, always on time and very polite.

We were sat on the beach and placed the order at the bar. It took quite a long time for the order to be filled but the food was tasty - I ordered the goat roti. While it did take the food quite some time to arrive, the staff were attentive and came over to check that we were okay.

Very poor experience. Went to have an English breakfast. They did not have bacon, sausages or baked beans as they haven’t received delivery on the day. We understood this and ordered only eggs on toast and avocado on toast. The avocado was literally sliced avocado on a piece of toast, nothing else. Eggs on toast also poor. No butter or salt or pepper. Ended up paying 80BBD. Not what we expected, sorry.

Do no come here if you are black or a if your a black bajan. The workers here have a slave mentality! I rarely leave reviews, but this place was not it! I visited with a friend and as we walked downstairs to be seated, the waitress looked at us as if we were crazy and as if we weren’t suppose to be there. She then proceeded to rush us and tell us to hurry and order because the kitchen was closing “very soon”. (Although we had called prior to coming and they told us we can come). So we were rushed and technically forced into ordering our food within a MINUTE. 25 minutes later, a group of 8 white folks came and they are welcomed with smiles and proper hospitality. 15-20 minutes after that their order was taken. Soo why was I rushed? The food was okay but not worth the money if you ask me. Definitely will not be coming back again.

Burger, delicious, and juicy hand made chips were lovely. Also the way Kay made us laugh too much and we might have to come here 1 billion trillion times. ice cream the best best ever
