We
visit
Jumas
at
least
once
during
our
yearly
visits
and
normally
get
a
solid
meal
with
great
service.
Not
this
year!
I
know
Covid
has
wreaked
havoc
with
staffing
but
this
year
the
service
staff
was
clearly
overworked
and
unsupported
by
management
(who
just
seemed
to
sit
at
the
bar
chatting).
They
are
clearly
afraid
of
him
because
our
server
only
wanted
to
take
two
or
three
glasses
at
time
for
fear
of
breaking
one
and
being
charged
$50
for
replacement.
Our
dinner
was
marred
by
slow
service
,
a
large
cockroach
that
danced
on
the
wall
and
ceiling
as
we
ate,
and
an
awful,
too
loud
90’s
alternative
duo
that
did
not
sure
the
ambiance
at
all.
The
food
was
substandard.
The
lobster
“bisque”
was
so
spicy
that
it
was
inedible.
The
person
that
had
it
managed
to
get
through
3/4
of
it
before
giving
up.
Our
server
was
impressed
“most
only
get
through
half”
(perhaps
someone
should
tell
the
chef
that
or
at
least
warn
diners
when
they
order
it).
The
lobster
was
tough
and
tasted
“off”,
the
steak
was
a
thin
piece
of
hanger
steak,
the
spaghetti
Bolognese
was
also
surprisingly
spicy,
and
the
seafood
linguine
was
a
mush
of
over
cooked
spaghetti.
Give
Jumas
a
pass
until
they
get
their
act
together.
