BEWARE!!! * if I could give zero stars I would! It was the worst experience in my life! I will never go in that direction again. I was trying to find the salon Lovely Nails after my regular place to visit called Genesis Nail salon (highly recommend!), was closing and not taking any more clients. I arrived and was told they could complete a full set with gel. I was hesitant since everyone present were only getting manicures. But I agree to the service and before she could finish, I had to literally stop her. The acrylic surpassed my nail bed and was on my actual finger! She had cut one of my fingers to the point I was bleeding, her response was that the filer was “new”! She did not give any attention to my bleeding finger as she tried to file down the ton of acrylic over my finger. The shape was awful. The lady was very unfriendly and was angered when I asked for them to be removed. She then tried to clip my nails with clippers with the thick layer of acrylic still sitting on my nails. When I refused and asked her to properly remove them she said it would be $50 for her to do so since she had been working on my hands going on 3 hours and was not finished. Mind you I had only been in the salon for an hour at most. When I asked for the manager, no one spoke up to claim the establishment. One lady behind the lady doing my nails agreed to properly remove my nails but then insulted me telling me that mountain Brooke is an “expensive” area and I should try going to places in Birmingham! Mind you MONEY WAS NOT THE ISSUE BUT THE IMPROPERLY TRAINED EMPLOYEE WHO ATTEMPTED TO DO A FULL SET! Mind you if you were the type of establishment that was not comfortable completing that service you SHOULD NOT OFFER IT TO CUSTOMERS! I was very unhappy with the service and the employees! Please do not waste your time going to this place if you would like nails properly done! There are much better places near by! *excuse the typos you can’t edit these on the phone after typing lol

Do not recommend at all! Bad customer service & they over charge for some short acrylic nails which were consider “long” they did not even ask what shape I wanted. Extremely thick layer of acrylic I had to go home take off the polish and reshape my nails also I had cuts around my nails from harsh filing. Don’t waste your time or money here!!!

I got a manicure for the first time here and it was a terrible experience. I wanted my nails dipped but the man doing it told me that he didn’t know how to do dip nails and that I would have to wait for somebody else to show up for work to be able to do it for me. So I got a regular Mani And he cut my nails so short that two of them started bleeding and the cuticle area was bleeding currently my middle finger nail is still bleeding and swollen! I will not be going back to this place and I do not recommend it to anyone who is wondering if they should go here choose somewhere else!

I got a mani/pedi. Three of my toes have cuts on them because the person doing my nails was not careful with the cuticle cutter. One of my nails has a giant lump on the side.

guy was smoking a cig outside and didn't wash his hands after he came in to do my nails. I had to wash my hands like 5 times at home to get rid of the smell. He cut and shaped them incredibly poorly. i could have done a better job myself

Anna is my manicurist she does a great job on your nails and also with a pedicure.

There was an older man who did my nails with dip powder with tips and it was just terrible. The nails were crooked. The wrong size and he didn’t even touch my cuticles but kept burning my finger with the electric file. He didn’t flinch when I kept saying it hurt. I think others that work here are much better but unfortunately they allow anyone apparently to get their nails done here. I rarely leave reviews but this was disappointing. By the end, I didn’t even want him to fix it because it took OVER AN HOUR when it should have taken much less time.

I made an appointment for a couple. But when we got there (on time) they were full and we had to wait. The Deluxe pedicure was mediocre (I've had way better) and overpriced. Maybe because its Mountain brook the pricing is like it is. I dont mind paying but not to wait when we had appointments and for mediocre service. I'll stick with others that I frequent.
