I really enjoyed the food, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the shrimp Po boy, I only wish there was a baked/pan seared option. Also the fried mushrooms were fresh out of the grease hot, but could use some more seasoning. Overall I would recommend it especially if you want to watch a sports event.

The boys just needed a placed to land while the girls shopped. It was 1:44pm and a 30 minute wait with empty tables all around the restaurant…obvious staffing problems and I certainly won’t condemn the management for this issue. We ordered the Wings appetizer and drinks and enjoyed the World Cup on a vast array of big screens. All was great with our server.

This was my 2nd time eating here and I absolutely loved the experience. It didn’t start well but thanks to bar manager, Nick, it ended well! The original server was not good at all. She made excuses for everything. I asked to speak to manager, he apologized and that’s when the experience became the BEST so far!!! The hostess Michelle was also very nice and helpful so we asked the manager if okay to leave her the tip ($25). She was so grateful and appreciative. I had the ribeye (well done) and my daughter had the chicken pasta. The steak was delicious and my daughter said the pasta was also. They have outdoor seating but it was 95 degrees! The first time I went I sat outside so didn’t really see interior. The restaurant is very nice and in beautiful location. Highly recommended visiting if in area.

Well, we wanted to find a good place to eat a steak, drive buy and after checking their menu it looked good. It was not. There is a lack of service: We ordered appetizer pretzels, came with no plates, no napkins and after we had finished and where told our food was going to be coming shortly about 15 minutes later, no food, waiting for beer, never cleared the table after she had given us plates for the now already eaten pretzels. Then came the steak, I ordered medium and it was well done, tater tots luke warm, the Cesar salad was soaked in sauce, not crisp. What appeared to be the manager, came and ask if everything is OK and I said not really. She said we want to make it right, please let me make it right. Never reappeared after she left. We finished dinner and wanted to pay, and then, all of a sudden the beer appeared. I do have to say they didn’t want to charge for the beer. We paid, I left a reasonable tip, I shouldn’t have. Certainly don’t want to go there ever again. We don’t.

If you are looking for a low key dining experience with high key service, look no further. Char Bar No. 7 is the place to be. From an aesthetic standpoint, there are tasteful decorations all over and plenty of televisions to watch to your hearts desire. The food was equally as pleasing. We started off with the fried pickles as well as a ceasar salad and a field greens salad. The produce was fresh and plated beautifully. Shortly after we finished our appetizer, our meals arrived. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium and the fries were hot and well seasoned. The smothered chicken was insanely delicious with its marinated mushrooms and sautéed onions. Our server, Kristina kept our drinks full and checked on us after each first bite of a course to ensure we were liking what we received. Char Bar No. 7 was wonderful and we are looking forward to visiting again soon.

Sarah worked her magic and got us the Miami Dolphins game. I would give 10 stars for that alone But cold beer and scrumptious food is good too 😋 😉

Neat place with a decent craft beer selection. The only compliant is I ordered a medium rare steak, and it was more medium well. It was still good, and I had not eaten all day, so I was not sending it back and waiting for another.

Great upscale grill with a classy yet laidback atmosphere in lovely surroundings. Came on a Friday night just after 6 with no reservation and had a 30 minute wait. Ordered a Bombay Bramble cocktail, sirloin w/ baked sweet potato & Caesar salad, and the Sweet Heat burger w/ mushroom risotto. All were fantastic! Though we did not partake, they do have a desert menu if you ask for it.

Food was good, I ordered the No. 7 Burger I thought it was going to be something a bit more special but it was a burguer wraped in a aluminum foil which made the burguer a bit soggy, at least the flavour was good though and the fries were very good. Service was pretty good we sat down at the bar with coworkers, and the bartender was very friendly, polite and ready to refill out drinks when needed.

Took my family of five to this establishment while out shopping for lunch after a zoo visit. Good is simply bad. No one was in the restaurant. Burgers were dry. Service took forever, not very hospitable. I could literally hit a 100 places in Birmingham I'd rather get a burger.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I had a watermelon basil cocktail that was equally delicious. Our server was great! I wish I would have caught her name but she was awesome. Also it was a great relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

Had to change my review. Had 5* because of service and food quality, but things change. Avoid the fish and chips at all cost. Server saw I didn’t eat a bite- just brought me the bill. Would you eat this?

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Valentine’s Day for a late lunch and it wasn't crowded at all! Our waitress was sweet and the food was delicious! We ordered fried pickles and Buffalo Chicken Dip as our appetizers. Fried pickles come as spears and the Buffalo Chicken Dip is perfect for someone who doesn't like a lot of spice. Both so, so good! I ordered the Glazed Haystack Chicken with tater tots and Alfredo as my sides for my entrée. My only complaint about the food is my Chicken was tough to chew but it comes on a skillet so probably just overcooked. I put 3 stars for service because it wasn't busy and we had to wait 10 mins for drinks and appetizers basically came out with the meals. But the food was so good, I will be back to try another entrée!

Started out with the pretzel and cheese dip and it was pretty good. Their ceasar salad was also good with what seemed to be homemade croutons. We both ordered steaks with loaded baked potatoes and the steaks were cooked perfectly! Delish! We will return if in the area again. Also, great service.

I love eating here the service is great and the food is wonderful. Today I tried the bourbon salmon with Brussels sprouts with bacon and broccoli and it was wonderful. Alone with they fried mushrooms they had a kick to them.

Great place for food and drinks. I had the classic hamburger which was perfectly prepared and fries. CharBar7 is a good place to meet friends and enjoy a meal together. This was a Sunday evening and the wait time was only about five minutes. Highly recommended.

Love this place. I've had several dishes here and everything I have had is wonderful. I have only ever been for lunch and it is usually busy, go early if you can. I really recommend the pretzel appetizer. Go for it too if you're by yourself, get four if there are multiple people because everyone will want to enjoy them. I look forward to a dinner one evening, and I would highly recommend enjoying lunch if you are looking for a great meal

Had the Leap Year burger with fries and my wife had the Southwestern burger with risotto. She also had a lemon drop which she enjoyed. Her burger was good and the risotto was good as well. My burger was salty and didn’t taste very good. The burger had egg and bacon on it and it still wasn’t very good. The fries were fine. Overall it was just okay.

Jesus had great customer service. I was able to be seated right away on a busy Sunday. I enjoyed the salmon and sweet potato tots. I miss the seasonal fruit that's been taken away post COVID-19

We really enjoyed our lunch here on the patio. It was a beautiful day to sit outside. We had the fried pickles, burger, and a salad.

I drive by this place all the time going to work and have been wanting to try it. My hubby took me to lunch here today and it was amazing! The staff were very prompt and friendly. Service was excellent. Food was delicious! The atmosphere and music were very nice, relaxing and fun. Will definitely be back!

Smooth service and worth checking out. While I didn't care for their CB7 sauce (I usually go for savory over sweet), the Smokehouse Burger itself was well prepared and the breaded fries were great. The Buffalo Chicken Dip tasted great and was a wonderful appetizer.
