We
spent
10
nights
at
this
lovely
hotel.
The
staff
are
incredibly
helpful
and
friendly.
Breakfast
is
very
generous
with
lots
of
choices.
The
bed
was
really
comfortable
(it
included
a
mattress
topper
to
make
it
softer
at
our
request
which
can
easily
be
removed
if
you
prefer
a
harder
bed)
and
the
double
rooms
are
large.
It
was
a
pleasure
to
have
a
bar
fridge
in
the
room
that
was
actually
really
nice
and
cold
-
so
many
hotels
have
bar
fridges
that
are
barely
cool.
We
found
the
hotel
and
rooms
to
be
exceptionally
clean.
Some
reviews
from
many
years
ago
say
differently.
I
suspect
the
hotel
has
had
a
make-over
and
new
management
as
we
saw
only
nice
clean,
modernised
spaces
and
very
fastidious
cleaning
staff
throughout
the
day.
The
balcony
is
a
welcome
place
to
sit
on
and
we
had
a
room
overlooking
the
garden,
terrace
and
pool;
all
of
which
are
well
maintained,
clean
and
lovely
to
sit
in
with
plenty
of
sun
loungers.
The
gym
deserves
a
mention
as
it
is
large
and
has
most
equipment
to
give
you
a
really
decent
workout
with
some
adaptations
to
the
usual
lack
of
heavier
free-weights
in
a
hotel
gym.
It
is
a
very
short
walk
to
the
nearest
beach
and
also
only
a
short
10
minute
walk
to
the
old
town.
(I’ve
seen
some
reviews
complaining
about
the
distance.
If
a
10
minutes
walk
to
town
is
too
far
for
you,
the
problem
not
the
hotel).
This
meant
both
were
easy
to
get
to,
but
away
from
the
noise
at
night
when
you
wanted
to
sleep.
It
also
means
(unlike
in
the
middle
of
the
old
town
where
vehicles
are
not
allowed)
you
can
park
your
car
right
by
the
hotel.
Reception
kindly
organised
a
surprisingly
cheap
car
hire
for
us
who
brought
the
car
to
the
hotel
and
fetched
it
when
we
were
done.
Wi-Fi
is
a
little
slow.
It’s
fine
for
social
media
and
WhatsApp,
but
you
wouldn’t
be
able
to
work
remotely
here
if
that’s
what
you
are
planning.
All
in
all,
highly
recommend,
especially
for
the
staff.
