Someone said they speak English but I think they only speak Italian and German. The menu is in Italian and German and being the uncultured swine I was I needed the waitress's help in ordering. I think my lack of thirst for wine and lack of intrinsic Italian skills set me apart from the usual Munich Fancy crowd, the sleek blondes with dainty jewelry and pastel palette. Fairs fair tho, everything was well presented and of good quality. Great Focaccia, possibly best I've ever had. Is expectedly priced at the lower end of the Munich Fancy range.

We stopped in on our last night in Munich. We had heard that Italian dining was a big thing in Munich so we thought we would check it out. The place is quaint with indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was excellent and walked is through the menu which was in German. We unfortunately are not fluent. We got the charcuterie board for two and everything was delicious! We enjoyed our evening!

Great Restaurant, with lovely service, delicious food and a nice vibe. We took the IL GRANDUCATO plate it was delicious und had an awesome variety! Will definitely come back. A place that truly feels like the owners and staff cares about the quality of the food and the people visiting their place.

Loved it! So good food and nice ppl running it. They read us the menu in English and were nice to our kids! Olives were on the house. A easy going place with focus on the food. U should def get the Foucaccia with lardo, tryffel and gorgonzola 😍🫶

I thought the wine was great, the food (we had a sandwich/panini type of thing there) was tasty. Funny thing, they don't want you to cut on the cutting board they serve it on 😄 so they wouldn't bring you knife and fork, only if you insist, with another plate to cut it on 😄

Absolutely incredible food and service. Definitely the best sandwiches and platters we've had outside of Italy - and many places in Italy! After eating here you'd be surprised to find yourself in Munich rather than in Florence. Highly recommend.

Incredible food and freshly baked bread. The servers are friendly. They also made really great cocktails. I definitely recommend trying!

Came with an italian acquaintance of mine as he recommended the place. Interior rather basic, so all the attention on foods. Tuscany specialties - order the large plate and Massese focaccia with truffle cream.

What a surprise. After trying for months to eat at Rustikeria, we managed to drop in accidentally - and got a seat! The food was delicious and authentic, there service from a different "planet", meaning, not German; and in deed, it was superb Italian customer service! Last time I experienced such a service was in Paris in the 90-ies off the past millennium...! Looking forward to dropping in spontaneously again 😉!

One of my favorite place in Munich, such a gem. They just moved to the new location near Isartor and the place is just so comfy and well decorated. There are many seats inside and outside. Now the food, we ordered Bruschette Toscane and one of the special, was never a fan of bread but totally changed my mind afterwards. Everything was good. The waiter and waitress were very kind and helpful. We were overwhelmed with the big menu until the waitress helped us with recommendations. The waiter even gave a detailed explanation about what's on each bruschetta. Would recommend it to anyone. It's also a great place to enjoy some drinks.

Great food, great wine, great service! Only slightly negative note is that it was really noisy and I could hardly hear my friend speaking-but a part from the noise the place is really nice and it really is a piece of Tuscany in Munich. Prices in line with the area, dining in Munich is never cheap. Overall recommended, will be back!

The best Italian place in Munich by far. Specialties from Tuscany and great drinks. The atmosphere is wonderful, place clean, the service kind and attentive to all the needs. You go there a couple of times and they will know you by name, serve your fav drink and suggest you the best. Aperitivo/buffet nights also worth to try. What else to say? Great for dates, chatting, cheering with friends. You won’t be disappointed!

Delicious cold cuts plate. Good wine. Small beer selection. Service is friendly but a little thinly stretched on busy nights.

Lovely place! The focaccia is so so so delicious ❤️ and the choice of CHEESE! Yum!! I am not a huge fan of mixing sweet and savoury in general but was so surprised with the honey and pecorino combo. On a side not their honey is delicious on its own too. Definitely going back again.

The ambience was delightful, and the wine and food were of excellent quality. My overall experience would have been perfect if not for the rather unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members. She came across as excessively insistent and impolite, making us feel pressured to make additional purchases, even though our order was already quite extensive. I am giving 3 stars for the service, as the other staff members have been ok and friendly.

Excellent finder food , mostly different Varieties of cheese and ham and good wine. Awful behaviour of the woman who works there (owner of the restaurant I think) No stars wenn the behaviour is so impolite. I went two times and she is really rude. My company had the same feeling . So Nop! Behaviour to the client is number one to us ! Not just money…

Suprised with super good Taste than usual italin dishes like pizza or Pasta. Definetly would come back for a second visit

Awesome experience! Fully recommend 👏🏻 Delicious atipasti with a really good price, the focaccia was tasty with a big variety of choices. And the classical tiramisu was the best 👌🏼 The staff is very nice and polite, open to explain the menu in different languages. We will be happy to come back!

Only place in Munich for enjoying great products from Tuscany. Totally recommend for an aperitivo which could easily become a dinner given the variety of dishes and wine. Top service.
