Not the best French restaurant in town. It was nice to sit outside. During the evening our party of 10 has lots of small problems with food, wine and service. Food was hit and miss. Some of the dishes were sent back. people who went for wine pairing received their wine after the meal and it was undrinkable, the bottled red wines were served at 28 degrees and chilled then in a bucket. A restaurant of this price class should have wine stored at the right temp. Waitress was very nice didn't take complaints very well and snapped back at customers. First and last time.

Had a lovely evening at this little French restaurant. Despite being considered a fine dining place, the atmosphere is refreshingly casual and unpretentious. We very much enjoyed sitting outside amidst the hustle and bustle of Munich's Westend. If you prefer more quiet surroundings while eating, however, I recommend choosing an indoor table. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. I'd like to specially emphasize how accommodating everyone was towards my dietary restrictions due to a severe food allergy. This is not to be taken for granted. The food itself was good -- solid, but not as refined and nuanced as I had expected of a fine dining restaurant. My starter was delicious indeed, but the main course unfortunately lacked depth of flavor. Perhaps that was a fluke, though. Presentation was absolutely lovely. Prices are decidedly steep, but that's Munich for ya. I'll very likely be back and definitely do recommend checking this place out.

Great food! Top quality! Interior very cozy. But: Service poor, needs to be improved. Don't get it wrong: service staff is very friendly but they are not very experienced in high class service. But as the prices are rather high I honestly would expect that service quality is too.

Gemütlich, unkomplizierter und sehr aufmerksamer Service, solide und ausgezeichnete Küche. Die Karte ist klein, trotzdem konnten wir uns kaum entscheiden. Hier prescht man kulinarisch nicht kreativ voran, sondern läuft eher gemütlich nebenher - und genau das funktioniert super. Die Aromen werden klar herausgearbeitet und schön kombiniert, das ganze handwerklich einwandfrei präsentiert. Auch die Weinkarte ist klein und fein. Kurz gesagt: Souverän und unaufgeregt, genau unser Ding.

Honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Wife and I both ordered the 3 course meal and I would highly recommend it. Quality of food is exceptional and the ambiance of the restaurant is exquisite. Great place for a nice night out or anniversary dinner.

The food and service was excellent with a very chic atmosphere. My husband, friends, and I all did the set menu and each plate that came out was incredible.

Für meinen Geburtstag suchte ich ein einzigartiges und unvergleichliches Restaurant in München. Nach einer ausführlichen Recherche bin ich auf das Marais Soir gestoßen, sodass ich einen Tisch für Zwei reserviert habe. Wir sind mit hohen Erwartungen in das Restaurant gegangen - und was soll ich sagen: Das Ambiente ist sehr stilvoll, die Kellner sehr zuvorkommend und absolute Fachleute. Wir mussten nicht lange überlegen und haben uns für das 4-Gänge-Menü entschieden. Sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich waren die einzelne Gänge absolute Spitzenklasse und eine Geschmacksexplosion im Mund. Wir sind auch Wochen danach noch absolut geflasht und erinnern uns gerne an den Abend zurück. Ganz klare Empfehlung!!

Tolle Küche, sehr gute Produkte, sympathischer Service, schöne Location. Ein Abend im Marais Soir ist ein Selbstläufer. Egal ob man sich für das Tagesmenü entscheidet, oder à la carte bestellt: Diese Gerichte machen Spaß. Beim Pairing mit dem Wein wendet man sich besser an die Sommelière im Team oder bringt selbst die Kenntnisse mit, hier ist nicht jeder im Service die ideale Beratung. Tipp: Wer gerne im romantisch-schummerigen Teil des Restaurants sitzen möchte, gibt dies bei einer Reservierung am besten direkt mit an.

das Essen war sehr lecker, ist gehobene Küche, aber in einem entspannten Ambiente. Man muss nicht übertrieben schick kommen und kann einfach nur das essen genießen. Selbst ich als jemand, der sehr selten Fleisch ist, war von meiner Rindfleisch-Hauptspeise, ich kann mich nur leider nicht mehr an den Namen erinnern, begeistert :( die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Im Sommer kann man toll draußen sitzen.

Wir haben unseren Hochzeitstag um Marais Soir gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, man hatte immer ein Auge auf uns ohne das es "too much" gewesen wäre. Wir hatten uns gegen das 3 bzw. 4 Gänge Menü entschieden und à la carte bestellt. Als Vorspeise hatten wir den gebratenen Oktopus und den Ziegenkäse. Hauptgang jeweils das Entrecote. Nachspeise: Fondant au Chocolat. In unseren Augen top komponierte Geschmacksrichtungen! Preis eher im oberen Bereich im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz in München aber dafür auch sehr gute Qualität! Das einzig negative ist die teilweise enge Bestuhlung. Wir waren an einem Montag weshalb es etwas ruhiger war aber zu Stoßzeiten ist es etwas eng. Wir kommen wieder!

Never again! Super full and very slow service.

Wait staff were great and restaurant was beautiful but..... Food swung between good (not special but good tasting) to average and bland. You can't just put small portions of food on a plate with elaborate garnish and call it fine dinning. At the table across from us other patrons ate beef that looked and smelled amazing and was a huge portion size. Could just have been the wrong meal on the wrong night (well two wrong tiny meals out of three in honesty) but I left with a huge bill and a a bigger sense of being completely unsatisfied.

I received inferior service by the most unprofessional team -  Don't go with them even by mistake.

We got at 23:00 and they turn us on around. On Oktoberfest week, they told us they did not have anyone inside so they close the kitchen. They were supposed to closed at 1:00am
