This restaurant is incredible! Every course was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Hands down our favorite restaurant experience in Europe and we had lots of great experience. If you are in Munich, you must go to MUN!

I’m Japanese and have to say their sushi/sashimi were the best sushi/sashimi I’ve ever eaten outside of Japan. Hats off to the chefs for creating authentic taste and for bringing my home country taste out to Europe. I enjoyed every single dish. Although it’s quite pricy, it’s worth it. Strongly recommended.

Amazing place for a fancy dinner out in Munich! The menu is some of the best Asian fusion I've had. The owner is so welcoming and the staff are friendly. There's a few options for a set 5 or 7 course meal with or without wine pairing. Came here for my firat anniversary and we were so happy!

Traditional sushi 🍣 we tried the course with 6 dishes completely fantastic, the waiter was so kind and helpful, he explained every thing, the japanies chef made some changes just for us. 🙏🏻

This was my first fine dining experience and I hadn't expected to enjoy it this much! We were warmly greeted with an Aperativ by the restaurant manager and the staff. We ordered two 4-course menues with wine pairing. Both came with an amouse bouche, which was a sweet and nicely spiced tuna paste topped on perfectly crisp sushi rice. This was followed by a mixture of different nigiri sushi. We then got (my favourite) a Korean bouillabaisse with fish, asperagus and fried nori. The soup really emphasized the flavour of the fish and the asperagus, while the fried nori provided a textural difference, which the dish required! For the main course we had miso black cod on potato/pea puree and ribeye steak with white kimchi and wild rice. Both were excellent (the cod was melt in your mouth) and paired perfectly with the wine. Lastly the dessert was an assortment of berries with a salted chestnut purée, which was also nice. Generally the experience was remarkably enjoyable and I'd recommend it!

This was by far our best food experience in Munich in over 30 years visiting the city. Highly recommended!!

My family is visiting Munich for the first time. We decided to try this wonderful Asian fusion restaurant. The food was amazing. The wait staff was impeccable and helped our family with every course. Our son even enjoyed a “blind” wine tasting. MUN is the highlight of our trip to Germany. One of the owners even stopped by our table to help our daughter with the use of her chop sticks.

A very positive surprise. From the street the restaurant looks humble. But from entering everything was excellent. Best Asian-fusion food ever, nice staff, and price level okay.

If we could give 10 stars, we would give Mun Restaurant 10 stars!!! 🥰 My husband and I have eaten at many restaurants all over the world and Mun Restaurant is by far our favorite! From start to finish our dinner was delicious and served by Mun himself, along with his amazing service team Noah and Dominique! We honestly didn’t want the dinner to end! Mun’s creations and attention to each detail in our five course dinner was phenomenal! Each dish was impeccably displayed and was such spectacular experience that sent indescribable mouth-watering explosions with each bite! Sending big hugs and compliments to Chef Mun and his awesome team for making our date night dinner so wonderful! We will definitely be back! 🤗🥰

Food was lovely. Had the 5 course Degustation menu, considering we're in a big city it was great value for money and I can most definitely recommend it. Waiter was lovely. The venue and atmosphere is a bit lacking to be honest, but it doesn't take away from the food. Note: I don't think it has a lift, it's located on level -1.

Such a wonderful dinner. Our reservation was one of the latest time slots which made for a lovely, intimate evening. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the different courses. We enjoyed the Chef Mun tasting menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

An incredible place for special occasions. Not cheap and sometimes, the choices of food are too drastic to come without a warning. It has gotten more expensive recently without really increasing the quality.

Pretty good food for German standards. But I'm not sure if it's worth the price tag. Sushi definitely needs some improvement. The cuts were too small and the rice a little undercooked.

A little gem in the centre of munich. This restaurant is something for the eye. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a mix of fish/ meat and vegan menus at the table, the vegan one had to be preordered, which is fine. Everything was very tasty and artfully presented, however, especially considering the price i found the vegan menu a bit disappointing. Particularly the first and the last dish. I've had more creative vegan sushis and desserts for less money i'm afraid. I understand restaurants specialising in fish/ meat dishes, but if vegan menus are offered and charged the same price i'd hope for the same experience. You can chose the wine menu with the food menu or order drinks separately. I forgot to ask if the wines that come with the vegan menu are vegan as well. It's a lovely restaurant but i wouldn't recommend it for veggie options and therefore unfortunately wouldn't come back.

The most excellent food, fantastic atmosphere, Cary is such a great host and Mun is simply the best! We had Omakase again, it melts in your mouth! I am already looking forward to our next visit!

We had an exceptional evening at MUN. We opted for the 6 course option with wine pairings at €150 per person. Every flight of food and wine was delicious, elegant and well matched. It is expensive but worth it. We'll be back!

We went on the 21st of December and took the normal omakese menu. The soup was amazing. Then we were supposed to have 9 different nigiri but due to lack of fish supply, we got less variety. This was not communicated to us in advance. When you are going for tasting, it's not very nice to learn this later on. Furthermore, the last meal was communicated to be different than what we got served with. Overall, the food was very delicious but the staff need to be better at communicating and knowing what's going to be served. Also, no one wished us goodbye and the welcome was sort of not so welcoming. I simply expect better service at this price range.

The space has an amazing feeling, an explosion of flavors in every bite and a great variety of wines, they know their job quite well and it shows in the result. Totally recommend

Exquisite. I think that's the best sushi I have ever had (not been to Japan yet but can't imagine it's too far off the best over there). We had the 4 course menu and nothing disappointed...... All extremely tasty and delicate. The wine to accompany the courses was generally well paired although I wasn't so sure about the Malbec with the short ribs. The service was top..... Very welcoming and accommodating with good explanations of each course in multiple languages. All in all a highly recommended restaurant.

We had a fantastic degustation at MUN. The menu was carefully thought through and executed. It ranged from simple with a twist to complex. All the time we had a very attentive waiter who was patient enough to explain details and answer our many questions. Thank you for a great evening!

MUN was a great experience. We had the five course menu with the short ribs as the main dish and all courses were without exception fantastic. In addition to the quality of the ingredients we have to highlight the excellent service, which gave us enough space but was always attentive. This made the visit to MUN one of the best overall restaurant experiences we had in Munich so far.

Spectacular experience from start to finish. Felt very comfortable dining in with their COVID protocols. Creative combinations of flavors and textures not found anywhere else in Munich - or many other cities for that matter. Attention to detail and overall hospitality are 5 star quality. Punchline: if you want to wake up your palette and raise your dining expectations, don’t miss MUN.

Best place in Munich for Sushi and Korean BBQ. I come here for the great food, the good wines and the incredibly welcoming service. The newest addition to their menu, the Korean Barbecue comes with surprising twists and even some Bavarian influences (such as a potato salad variation that can compete with my granny's). Am also deeply in love with their tuna tartar. Try it if you can.
