Dear tourists this place is amazing. The sampler appetizer was an amazing value. Each dish had an amazing presentation. I think I'm over using the word amazing but it was the best restaurant so far in Germany that we have been to

I had to come here to taste delicious Bulgarian food.... Simply awesome! The place is very homy with great hosts. Goes straight to the top of my list of favourite restaurants in Munich and of best Bulgarian food worldwide.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice. I was there for dinner on a Saturday night and you could tell there was a lot going on. The staff is very welcoming and customer oriented, one of us asked if they could change his drink (wrong order) and they changed while cracking a joke. The music became a bit too loud at some point, which could hinder the guests during their conversations. I suppose there are not many people working in the kitchen, coz we were 12 people at the table and our dishes did not come all together. Despite that they do a really nice plating.

First time trying Bulgarian food and it was a great experience. The restaurant is very well designed and laid out, upscale ambiance and interiors. The portion sizes were big and the taste was exceptional. Prices were very reasonable for the presentation, taste and portion size. Enjoyed the meal and drink and the service was wonderful.

We found this place by chance on Google map, looking for a place to lunch near the park, and sat at the area outside. It was all in all a very pleasant time: our waitress, perhaps the owner, was very helpful with recommending what to order. We had a salad and two main dishes. The main dishes came in generous portions, and were very tasty. Prices seem to be fair for the quality and quantity received.

Balkan Platte, schopska salat were so good! Delicious flavour.

Good Bulgarian restaurant. They're offering authentic dishes for as much as I could tell. Most meals are focusing on meat, but they're also offering vegetarian options. Desserts and starters also have Bulgarian specialties. The interior was modern and cosy, staff friendly, service fast, prices around average. Recommended

It was our first time in a Bulgarian Restaurant, and we instantly fell in love with the food and the people. This restaurant is run by a very friendly couple. They and their staff just make you feel at home. The food is prepared with only fresh ingredients and it’s perfectly cooked and seasoned. Next time in München, we definitely go back. Thanks to the entire Rila team. ❤️

Beautiful location just around the corner from the English Garden. Cozy and intimate, feels like going to a family's restuarant, warm and inviting.

It was relaxing eating here. Waiter was very nice and polite. I think the owner was also around when I went there; he’s service oriented, I would say. He came around a couple of times to check if everything was okay. I felt welcomed and would go here again and also recommend. The food was good too 😋

Just had a cup of tea, fine - 5stars for the atmosphere and music -no comment or shocked on more than 20 penny coins received for the sake of card free payment, or not tipping more than 25% -service level is rather less than expected from a student doing part time job, unfriendly unfortunately well, not everyone can be happy:)

Satch is very delicious but also kinda too oily, service is quite fast. Location is good but quiet too, away from the crowd at English Garden. Tables outside might be too close to each other, so it is hard to move.

First time at a Bulgarian restaurant, really nice and cozy atmosphere. The food has unique flavors with very generous portion, especially recommending Bob Grill (the bean dish) and Satch. Overall an amazing experience with friendly services.

We celebrated my wife's birthday with couple friends. The atmosphere inside was great and cozy. The portions were very generous. However, the taste of the food does not exactly matches the quality of the restaurant in general. The salt rate was too much in all the dishes, meze platter could have been greatly improved by adding a garlic bread. With that saying, I do not mean the food was bad. It was good but if it can be slightly improved, this restaurant definetely deserves a five star rating.

The place looked nice, but the food wasn't that good. We were the only customers and we ordered a veggie burger that was good and came with an ok salad and fries that were cold and a bit oily. The Lyutika was the problem. The chicken wasn't fully cooked and I didn't like the taste of the meshed vegetables. Mind you that it is not the first time I eat bulgarian food, I usually enjoy it. When we asked for the check the waitress saw that I didn't eat my food and became a bit passive-agressive. Over all i would not recomend this restaurant.

One of the best home style restraunt in Munich. We have been here already twice and would come back many many times. I mean they have been playing Beatles playlist for 2 hours what else?!

Visiting Germany from the United States, found this restaurant close to our hotel. Hands down the most amazing food, ambiance, service. Food is delicious, affordable, and unique. If you are on the fence, make this restaurant a stop!

My first experience with Bulgarian food was not disappointing! The portions are really big (the Satch skewer was as big as my forearm) and the presentation is beautiful. I would definitely recommend if you like Greek or Turkish food. 😊

Rila was an unexpected find on our trip to Munich and it was the best food we ate by far. My friends and I enjoyed it so much that we bought 3 bottles of the Bulgarian wine to take home to the US and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Munich in the future. The sauces were perfectly spiced and the meats were marinated and cooked to perfection.
