We had a great stay at Karma Bavaria! The reception by Christian and Michael was one of a kind. We got a very nice renovated room with balcony. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the shower is also good. Our room had a little kitchen with Coffee machine, fridge (a silent one) and some local specialties which you could purchase (incl. local Beer of course). Breakfast was very good and there was always enough for everybody. We loved the Hotel’s Bowling alley! We did not use the pool but it looked very nice. We had dinner at the Hotel’s restaurant and it was also a nice experience. Everybody was nice and willing to help. Michael would always go the extra mile to provide us the best: mission accomplished Michael!! Thanks a lot to you and the whole Karma Bavaria team! Overall we can recommend Karma Bavaria for a nice and relaxing stay at the beautiful Bavarian “Schliersee”.

Schliersee is a very nice town, great location. Unfortunately Karma Bavaria does not meet expectations of a 4 star hotel. Rooms Well sized and good features like a kitchen, TVs and modern bathrooms. However, the cleaning is non-existent. The house keeping duty takes less than 10 minutes where they move dirt around the floor, don't always provide toilet rolls, don't change bath towels even if they are on the floor and keep windows open letting flies in. Walking around your room feeling dirt on your feet is not pleasant. Seeing them use dirty mops is not pleasant. The main TV kept malfunctioning and I had to fix it daily myself. I complained several times but no fix was done. The worst part is the noise from other rooms even at 2am in the morning. Avoid if you want to sleep. Restaurant The breakfast is ok, not great but not terrible. Need better made eggs! The dinner menu is sparse and not well thought through, however the food really lacks quality. The Indian menu for example is not Indian food but really what the Argentinian chef can cook. Even the waiters said to avoid it as it isn't good. We had the Tacos on Tuesday and they were terrible, luckily we received a full refund. Avoid the restaurant as the management won't improve it...I visited in 2018 and 2023, both times we had poor quality food. The swimming pool area is ok, slightly dirty but not terrible. Reception Hasan is amazing, the only person who smiled, cared and genuinely helped without hesitation. He should manage the hotel. The other two people, I don't know their names, two ladies both wearing glasses never smiled, always seemed flustered to help and could not even bother say thank you or did you enjoy your visit or sorry or anything other than the bare minimum. They looked very bored and frankly should find alternative roles elsewhere. The managers didn't seem interested other than wondering around smoking or going into town or telling you their life stories. The hotel could be great if they actually cleaned the rooms properly, replaced the chef and made good quality food and replaced their staff. Thankfully there are many great restaurants nearby, two lakes and other hotels to stay in.

Experience: was excellent and I really enjoyed the hospitality shown to the Turner Family! The breakfast and the happy hour brought so much joy and great vibes. The hotel was beautiful inside and out and the scenery around the area was, if driving or catching the bus was worth every minute! I will be back soon! Top

This is our second home. We like the resort very kind and gentle staff. Situated nicely not far from the lake and walking distance from town. You have it all you need to have refreshing break from our daily hectic schedule.

I went there with my family on a promotional package. Everything we saw and experienced was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean. The reception (mostly) very nice... especially the guy from Africa (?) He was a delight to interact with. The pool was small but nice and the jacuzzi was lovely. The sauna must only be used in the nude, which led to an elderly man yelling at me and kicking me out of the sauna area, but that definitely doesn't reflect on the hotel. The kegeln (something like bowling) area was very nice. I would've loved to play some of the many music records they had, but the record player was broken. The location is perfect. Close to many restaurants and 2 supermarkets. The hotel is about 10 minutes away (on foot) from the lake. I can't comment on their breakfast or food because they weren't included in our package. However, our room had a basic kitchenette so we were able to make our breakfast and snacks. We dined out every night. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back.

Stayed for a week and I loved our room. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean and newly remodeled with a nice kitchenette with everything you need. The bathroom/shower was awesome. Our balcony had a great view of the Alps. The hallways and the rest of the resort seem a little dated but it seems like they are in the process of updating. The pool area and hot tub looked great even though we didn't use it. There is a game room and also a pretty nice gym to workout. It is in the perfect location.. close enough to all the restaurants, shops and beautiful Lake Schliersee park that you can walk easily. Beautiful area. The service was very good. Loved the staff...so friendly and engaging. The only negative was it was in the upper 80s all week and there is no a/c. We opened the windows at night to let in some of the cooler air but there are no screens on the windows so bugs get in. Outside of that, it was a perfect stay and I would def stay here again even with no a/c. I would have taken a 1/2 star off for the no a/c or screens on windows, however, everything else was on point so no big deal.

Perfect hotel for a night. Ideal when you travel further but need a rest after driving for 9 hours. Sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool are perfect to get those muscles trained after sitting in the car all day. We had a good night's sleep. Nice breakfast.

Thanks, we are enjoying our vacation here. The food is tasting great, but the restaurant service is not up to standard. The special meal of the day, as advertised, was not available as well as some of the menu items.

Experience, Great Experience. Karma provides great experience. Nice location, good staff. Nice Bowling night for members. Met many members and good thing is everyone is positive about the brand. One suggestion: You started Indian menu but really speaking taste is not at all Indian, please make sure to have good training for staff on this :( Also no Indian dishes at Breakfast, 2 days you have aloo paratha but that is not good at all :(

Good rooms and great views. Very friendly staff. Location is great for visiting Bravaria and parts on Austria like Innsbruck and Salzburg. Shilersee is a cute town with many places for food. Hotel has good play area and pool. Great for a relaxing holiday too.

Older rooms...(through Wyndham)(new bathroom) and the one minus was a distinct drain smell...(did report that btw).. Received lovely service from Katrin (reception) and Filip (bar)..thanks to both. Housekeeping staff very friendly...👍 Breakfast was plentiful... All up we had a great time..

Rooms are nice, views were good from the balcony. We visited in November and it would appear this is either a summer or winter sports town Summer provides opportunities to hike and sail and play in the water, and in winter is when snow sports are taken on. Shoulder periods seems to be when the things close for maintenance or holidays. Some of the bars were open and they were great.
