A brilliant climbing place let down only by their ridiculous rules. Its a huge climbing area comprising of both a big bouldering area and a lead climbing area. There's also an outdoor area. Unfortunately, they refused that I leave the premise to quickly drive my friend and come back, even though I had paid for a "day" ticket. I could've simply stayed there and continued but I couldn't leave and come back quickly which absolutely does not make sense. It's very poor customer service and bodes super terribly with the customer satisfaction. They have unfortunately lost a customer. I hope this changes soon. Food options are also very good. The only letdown is their policies.

Large climbing gym with an indoor and outdoor area: Many interesting toprope and lead climbing routes, some extremely tough and challenging. Good boulder hall with a nice layout. Café/restaurant with fair prices and good food. From there large panoramic windows into the climbing zone. Everything's fairly new and in good shape, showers and toilets clean. Staff nice and friendly. A bit crowded sometimes - but then: It is Munich after all... ;-)

I enjoyed my first time bouldering here. Friendly staff, nice locker rooms, and there is a variety of places to climb for both beginners and experts. Bouldering shoes are also available to rent. If it's your first time, you don't need to pay for your entrance as long as you are accompanied by someone who can pay.

Really great bouldering. The facilities are great but unfortunately they now require an annual subscription. This means if you're only around for a short period you can't make use of the climbing walls (or only if you pay a crazy €18 per visit which is double the price of other climbing centres in Munich).

I did bouldering first time and I fell in love with it, major reason for this is this place. So big and have sections for beginners and pros. I would highly recommend this place.

Was there with my four year old and had a fantastic time. Boulder park was huge and different levels available. A plus is the kids zone at the upper floor. They also offer some food. It was a nice time out from the daily routines. 4 Stars because of incr. travel time on weekends.

Fantastic climbing gym especially for families - they have a child’s area inside AND outside, with a huge trampoline just next to the routes. The newly installed autobelay system also allows to climb together with the kids which was really fun for us all.

Great gym, a bit expensive, no autobelay, no moonboard!

The place stinks and the hygiene practices are below par. The upstairs play area smells toxic with sweat. The equipment clearly doesnt even get a wipe down. My wife was was billed to enter despite being in a foot brace due to an operation. She was only there to watch the kids. Clearly she wasnt climbing. Stupid policy. What an absolute joke. Dont recommend.

Very large climbing gym with both boulder and lead climbing options. Cleaning of the building is ok but holds are not super clean and indeed routes are quite polished. No auto belays at all (bad if you want to train). I payed 18€ for the daily ticket which, honestly, is a bit overpriced for a gym.

I had an exceptional climbing experience at DAV Kletter und Boulderzentrum. As someone with asthma, I was delighted to find that the reduced chalk in the air made it a comfortable environment compared to other halls I've visited. The evenings were pleasantly less crowded, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable climbing session. The small gym area provided the perfect space for warming up, ensuring I was prepared for the challenging routes. I recommend this facility to climbers seeking convenience and a well-maintained venue. The inclusion of lockers for storing valuables is a great addition, providing peace of mind during the climbing session. The 16€ fee includes both shoes and entry.

If you sign up for a newsletter during sign up you get a free Cappuccino! The bring a friend offer is amazing and worked for me even after only one visit. Don't forget your card or you won't close your locker. There's a gym and a really cool outside area with a playground for children. There's a happy hour offer after 9 pm on weekdays and 7pm on the weekends.

Awesome place for climbing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. And the sandwiches are just great :) Downsides, it is a bit expensive (17€ for rock climbing), and slightly far from the city (long drive with ubahn and then around 10 minutes by foot). All in all, great experience and will definitely go there again :)

Absolutely brilliant boulder and climbing centre! The routes are regularly changed and maintained and offer something from beginner to expert. You can climb and boulder indoors and outdoors if the weather is good! Great cafe with lovely food and drinks. Good changing area. Lots of parking.

Similarly to the DAV Kletterzentrum Thalkirchen this climbing hall offers a wide variety of climbing routes, boulders, as well as entertainment for accompanying kids (kids' area, trampoline). Totally recommended. Parking places are quite limited, unfortunately.

An amazing place with a great variety of boulders and climbs. Additionally it offers a kilterboard and a training area with all you need. All this amazing variety comes with a cost though. One of the highest I have ever paid in a climbing hall, which is the only downside. Still, it is definetly worth it to visit this place once in a while :) The staff is nice and helps you with all of your problems. Equipment is rentable in case you forgot something or are just getting into climbing.

Great experience. Reception people are beneficial; they speak perfect English as well. Price of food and drinks are not extraordinary in comparison to the market. There is ample amount of space for bouldering. They also have wall climbing set up, but I didn't try yet. I go to do the bouldering often.

Great gym. Inside there are a few places where the routes are too close together and you end up abseiling (repelling) over another route (or climber). Other than that, great routes, awesome outdoor walls, and decent burgers. My favorite dish is the Salad with Goat's Cheese. Tastes better here in Freimann because they have a grill :)

A lot of problems and very pleasant. I bit hot inside in the summer.

A very good bouldering and climbing gym, however I haven't tried climbing yet. The bouldering hall is large with several routes of various difficulty levels. Shoes and chalk and other equipment can be bought/rented at the counter. No concession for students.

This climbing gym is epic!! Great facilities, staff and route setting! Awesome that there are walls both inside and outside! A bit too crowded in the bouldering area.

Nice and fun. Sometimes little crowded. Also prices are not climber friendly but the climbing grates are 😅.
