I would spend a three digit amount of money per month at this joint if I would be living in Munich. The owner (I assume) was super nice and helped us to steer through the deliciousness menu. We had a banana & strawberry soft ice, chocolate banana bread, iced latte and cold brew. It was heaven on earth supported by the small, cozy sitting areas in the shadow of the Sendlinger Tor. Will become the must-stop for future visits of Munich.

Ever since my friend became vegan, I was affected by it and wanted to try out some vegan places. I found this place on Google map by accident and decided to try it out. The place is very small (only 3 or 4 sets of table inside), located on the side of the road and had a very casual vibe (very simple too) so I wasn’t expecting much I guess but all the things we had were really tasty! The banana cakes were moist inside and had a perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet!). The ice cream was rich in taste yet still light. I ordered red beets latte, which I had never seen on a menu of any cafe before, turned out to be amazing! So after all this place had full of surprises to me, all positive! :)

We weren't planning on having any cake but then the look of their banana bread changed our mind very quickly. It was served with a vegan ice cream and no refined sugars added! What a bonus. The gentleman in the shop was very friendly and clearly heavily invested in this vegan venture. Well done! The best flat white with oat milk we have had in Germany. Thank you for having us 💚

My favourite vegan bakery in town 🫶🏻 love their banana bread and Affogato!! Definitely will try their ice cream 🍨 separately next time.

Banana & Banana bread lovers would simply fall in love with this place. Warm vegan banana cake with vegan ice cream is a harbinger for the veganistic lifestyle emerging in Munich. Hard to differentiate it from a cow milk-based icecream. Simply soft and the right amount of creamy! This dish was around 7.5€. This place makes one realise that being vegan is no longer a choice simply to exclude meat from the meal but also one to relish vegan products.

Oat milk kind of frozen yoghurt called frozen custard. I tried the banana flavor one. Yummy exact same taste as the banana bread and not sweet. Their ice cream is vegan with dates sugar. Here you can eat the cup and the spoon. Nice location inside the Sendlinger Tor. They use La Marzocco espresso machine for a large selection of coffee drinks with oat milk. No toilets for customers. Not adapted entrance for disabled due to the 2 stairs. Some sitting spots inside and outside without sunshades probably because of the renovation works.

A nice little oasis right next to the old gate entrance, perfect for taking a break and escape from the summer heat. The vegan ice-creams are refreshing with edible spoon and cups, though I would have preferred a richer and creamier flavor of Hazelnut and chocolate icecream. The sweetness is just right, a bit surprised that it’s not artificially sweetened.

Got the combo of banana bread, soft serve and toppings also 2 coffees. The banana bread, spftserve and coffees were all delicious and the sevice was amazing. Would recommend to try for yourself.

Nicely surprised ☺️, the bañana-cream was a delight, keeping the joyful taste of the ice cream but without the added sugar. 🤯The edible spoon should be the standard in every ice-cream shop, is a plain hard cookie that might not taste like much but at least doesn't damage the environment🏞️ P.S. Delicious vegan ice-cream, in love with the zero waste cup and spoon. The ESPRESSO is simply AMAZING! Really friendly owner, definitely one of my favourites place in MUC!

Really tasty ice-cream! Perfect as for me since it’s not very sweet (sugar free) and consists of fruits (banana, strawberry or mixed option). Pleasant bonuses are eatable spoon and ice-cream cup :)

Congratulations!!! What a wonderful gemstone of a vegan place you have created. We discovered it accidentally while visiting Munich about 8 months ago and still talk about it. We have been eating natural whole foods and refined sugar-free desserts for 40 years and seldom come across such delicious and simple natural sweets and treats like you serve at Keep Bañana Café. You deserve the best of luck with your business, which is contributing toward healthier people and a healthier planet! Please keep up the good work!

Really cool concept. All gluten-free, vegan and zero waste. We had a slice of the original banana bread and one of the chocolate one with banana and peanut ice cream. Also had an ice coffee, amazing! Everything tasted sooo good. Really love it and for sure will come back :)

Very stylish designed little cafe. Streetfood style. I like that everything is high quality and sustainable and easily disposable. The dishes from vegan banana bread to vegan ice cream are so simple and yet tasty and healthy (only few natural ingredients - ice-cream has bananas, oatmilk and dates). For to-go ice-cream you get it on a waffle with a spoon, which you can eat. Wow! Fair-trade coffee from a La Marzocco porta filter barista machine (the Porsche of the coffee machines). The service is nice. Location is central. If you want healthy sweets and something special, go there!

I love this place! It’s cozy, fresh and let by an easy going owner who cares. The banana bread and vegan cappuccino are the best in the city. The ice cream is super tasty and healthy on top. I’m gonna keep on coming here.

Excellent coffee and excellent service 🙌🏻🙌🏻 The iced latte was really excellent. I haven’t drunk such a latte before. The banana bread was really good. But it was a bit dry 🙆🏻‍♂️. The taste though was really good! Awesome. The prices were a bit too high; for the things pictured here, 2 pieces of banana bread and 2 iced latte, we paid 17, 10€ 😵‍💫😵‍💫. This is really too much, isn’t it? And, I cannot be sure whether this is an inflation-driven price range or not. Anyway, I’m pleased so, 4 stars for the excellent service and coffee 👍👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

No added sugar, vegan ice cream. The service is super nice and very pleasant The banana bread is also very delicious, both versions. Not too much trouble, just the simplicity and joy. The planet and humanity need more business like this. Give it a try, you won’t regret it, and being vegan isn’t necessary, you won’t miss anything.

This soft serve place is truly a gem! I had a mix of the banana flavor (permanently on the menu) and peanut (special feature). The soft serve was super freshing, yummy and perfectly flavored. Most amazing thing is everything is refined sugar free - sweetened with dates! Plus there's zero waste in that the cup and spoon are both eatable. I tried the two flavors of banana bread as well and they were delicious. We liked it so much we visited this place three times during our stay in Munich. Highly recommend!

Soooo good. I’ve made banana nice cream myself before, but this tops it. Really nice and creamy, great healthy toppings and both the container and the spoon are zero-waste, as they are edible (although the spoon tasted…rough, haha). Nice personnel. Highly recommended. If you want healthy ice cream, don’t go to iceDate, go here. Way, way better.

Stopped here by chance. Really nice concept for vegan ice cream. Went inside thinking it will be made of plant based milk. Surprise surprise : banana based. Three simple flavour options to pick from : banana (original) , strawberry and mix. And variety of toppings to choose from. Served in edible bowls with an edible spoon. A good choice to satisfy sweet cravings - no added sugar!! Smiling and friendly staff :)

Homemade vegan ice cream. No sugar and very delicious. Warm banana bread with ice cream is the best choice! There is no better banana bread in town.
