I
got
a
haircut
(900
rupees)
and
a
hair
spa
(~2840
rupees),
and
with
tax
it
came
up
to
around
3900.
If
you
purchase
anything
above
2000
rupees
you
get
a
membership
card,
which
gives
you
some
discount
every
time
you
go
there.
Dinesh
did
the
service
for
me,
and
he
was
really
passionate
about
hair.
He
checked
my
hair
and
suggested
what
problems
needed
to
be
fixed
(dryness,
frizz),
took
note
of
my
concerns
(hairfall),
and
asked
what
I
was
looking
for
(volume).
Based
on
that
he
suggested
a
spa
treatment
for
anti-frizz
and
anti-hairfall
and
a
layered
hair
cut
for
volume
(I
have
fine,
thin,
frizzy
hair).
For
the
hair
spa,
they
shampoo
and
condition
your
hair
once,
apply
the
spa
treatment
and
massage
it
in,
then
shampoo
and
condition
your
hair
again
before
blow-drying
it.
(A
note
of
warning,
it's
a
unisex
parlor,
so
a
man
may
do
the
massage
for
you,
and
they
go
down
to
neck
and
shoulders.
You
can
just
ask
them
to
only
do
your
head
if
you're
uncomfortable.)
He
was
not
too
rough
with
my
hair
(which
many
parlors
are),
and
very
skilled
at
what
he
does.
It
was
expensive,
but
my
hair
has
literally
never
been
so
soft
and
shiny.
If
you're
getting
it
done
for
an
occasion,
I
suggest
coming
the
morning
of
the
event,
and
going
to
the
event
directly
in
a
car
or
closed
vehicle.
I
had
an
event
the
next
day
and
my
hair
didn't
have
that
'blow-out'
look,
though
it
was
still
soft
and
smoother
than
before.
It's
been
a
few
weeks,
and
my
hair
fall
has
reduced
a
bit;
it's
not
as
bad
as
before
(also,
my
hair
is
a
lot
shorter).
Overall
my
hair
is
softer
and
much
more
manageable
than
before.
The
only
problem
was
communicating
with
the
hairdresser,
since
he
didn't
speak
English
or
Tamil
that
well
and
I
only
knew
those
languages.
I'd
definitely
go
back,
if
my
hair
feels
rough
and
unmanageable
or
just
for
maintenance
(not
more
than
twice
or
thrice
a
year
at
this
cost!).
But
it's
a
nice
way
to
treat
yourself
:)
