We were staying here for 2 weeks, Beginning February 2022 Thank you for management and staff there for their excellent support, conditions and services, very nice. But unfortunately I can't say it from Denise the Lady where we went and pay, Could only book for 7days and had to come back to pay For another 7 days. First 7 days we pay R1367 then we got pensioners discount and pay R965., When we discussed it with her Mrs attitude I must email all my receipt to her and she will sort it out well until today nearly 1 1/2month later after numerous emails no satisfaction or even a reply, Then we also sit at her desk 1 1/2 hours just to do a booking and get a invoice, then we went to checkers to pay nearly take your whole morning just to do that, this is not on, I am still waiting and not a satisfy customer due to her attitude and time consuming you would lost campers to camp there, We want to thank the Zandvlei staff at the campsite for their professional service and manners they had. The ablution blocks were in good excellent order all the time.

(Translated by Google) Walk not suitable for beginners with hiking and climbing, at the end of the path you are rewarded with a beautiful panorama all around. It's challenging but it pays off. (Original) Camminata non adatta a chi รจ alle prime armi con escursioni ed arrampicate, alla fine del percorso si viene ripagati con un bellissimo panorama tutto intorno. รˆ impegnativo ma si viene ricompensati.

The day camping area has great potential but is sadly extremely neglected. Toilets are closed down and replaced with portable toilets. Entry fee is R16.00 .

If i could i would come here everyday. It's such a relaxing place to just sit and read or play with the kids if you have any. And it's very well looked after so you don't have to worry about litter laying around or anyone disturbing you if you want some privacy.

(Translated by Google) Very impolite. We were not allowed in since we did not book ahead. Under camping I understand that sometimes you can stay overnight spontaneously. I would advise you against such a place. Finally, we had to go to a hotel, as they hesessed us we should turn around (Original) Sehr unfreundlich.

We wanted to find the good in this campground, but sadly we did not have the best experience. Upon arrival we were told we could not check in at the gate, but instead we had to go to the civic center, where we had to fill in forms for about an hour to register, go pay for the camping at the nearby Checkers, and return to the civic center which closes at 3pm. We only wanted to camp one night. What they fail to mention until you get to the civic center is that there is a 2 night minimum here for camping. When we finally had paid and arrived into the campground we found that the pool was closed. The ablutions are very basic, but they are clean. There are no picnic tables anywhere or seating areas. Just campsites, ablutions and outdoor sinks. On the plus side the views are great and the location is close to the beach. Ultimately we would not choose this campground again had we have known the lengthy process, lack of facilities, and 2 night minimum.

The worst campsite in all of Cape Town. I don't put 0 stars because I can't. They make reservations when it suits them, they never answer the phone, there are times when they let you sleep only one night and other times they force you to spend at least two nights in a row, all depending on what it seems to the woman who takes care of the reservations. Horrible management, horrible staff.

Awesome as always.. Just try to tell your security guards to behave when speaking to people. Do not respond. What's done is done. Hendrick. A lovely human being. Thank you so much Hendrick. God bless you my friend.

By far the most spectacular hike up. Novices approach with caution. There are 3 sections that are tricky scrambles requiring rope for inexperienced hikers.

Excellent scenic route up. Not to be attempted by novices - exposed sections and path is not always clear. Go with someone who has done route before.

Amazing hiking experience. Not for beginners and definitely must be confident in co-ordination, a head for heights and upper body strength. Overall the views are incredible

Great views of the city and camps bay from the view point only 15 minutes hike and for the more advanced hikers there is an exciting but slightly dangerous 2-3 hour route up to the cable car.

Stayed for weekend, no hot water. Complained twice, nothing was done. Not allowed to leave or come in after 10pm. No load noises after 6pm๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Family fun at Zandvlei, it was abit windy , more trees will negate the wind at this place. The amenities also needs some more TLC especially if you pay to enter. But all in all a nice family place with plenty of space for kids to play.

I will never suggest this place to anyone. If I could give it a 0 star rating I would.i have seen and been lots of places in and out of cape town but never experienced what I did here.....I wish I could go into detail but would be like reading a novel. I felt targeted as we were a lot of people with 6 plots and one chalet. Not sure if it was the fact that we from Mitchell's plain that we had to show all our forms when we booked in and again the Saturday.....I don't even think they do head counts in prison but we had to go through that.....the Sunday morning as we waiting for our transport to arrive they came and basically put us out....and there is many more incidents that I could mention....we went there for a chilled and relaxing weekend but only ended up stressful and could wait to leave .NEVER EVER AGAIN!

The place was extremely clean. Showers were hot, and located close to muizenburg Beach. The camp sites are neat and scenic.

The staff flatly refused to allow me to view the park. Why would anyone stay in a park that they won't even allow you to look at? I will never even consider going there.

Scary fun and not for the fainthearted! Don't go alone. Go with someone experienced. It is dangerous. But if you can handle heights etc...enjoy.

Hike Cape Town like a Local - I am a guide who takes peole up Table Mountain's less common routes - see TripAdvisor and hook me up ;o)

Impressive enjoyable challenging. Plan enough time to get in time for the last cable car. If it happens there's easy road down through Platteklip Gorge. But it can be dangerous after you get down to the road at night.
