I’ve heard great things about this place, but I went there for lunch today and was pretty disappointed. Our waitress was not friendly. She just dropped the menus on our tables and asked what we wanted to drink. Our table was dirty and the tables around us were as well. When we got there it was not busy at all so they could have been cleaned. When we got our food my husband had a ton of lettuce on his taco and very little protein. My shrimp taco seemed fine at first but then I noticed one wasn’t deveined. I saw another one and then another. When I actually opened up and looked in the tacos I’m pretty sure almost all of it was like that. That’s just super gross. I was going to ask to switch my tacos for something else but after waiting 10 mins for our server she never came to check on us so we had to wave her to our table. By that time my husband was done with what he ate and I was done with my rice and beans so I just asked her to remove the tacos from my bill since I ate my sides, and showed her that it wasn’t just a shrimp or two that had that issue. She rolled her eyes and had an attitude but she did take them off. My husband also asked for a box and that seemed to inconvenience her too. I’m usually all about giving places second chances but this is one I will pass on.

Stopped for a later dinner this evening. Server was extremely friendly and fun! Food was excellent! We started with nachos, they were huge! The margaritas were fabulous, I had a mango one and it was perfect, not overly sweet! Hubby had a lime margarita and loved it too! Then I did a create your own off of the ala carte menu. I had a shredded beef chimichanga, a shrimp quesadilla & a seafood enchilada! The chimichanga was awesome! The quesadilla was good, but they use the baby shrimp in them which I am not a huge fan of. The seafood enchilada had the red sauce on it which was mild, but good, again had the baby shrimp, but they were ok in these! The hubby had the taco platter with three hard shell beef tacos, they were delicious! He also loved the decried beans and said the rice was just ok. All in all can’t wait to try more items and again, our server was awesome!

As we pulled into the parking lot, we were a little concerned. There were not many cars in the parking lot. The outside could use some work. The awnings are pretty faded from the sun and could probably be replaced. We went during lunch and the restaurant was not busy at all. The decor is what you would expect with very vibrant colors and "sky" lights to add a little fun. The service was good, we were served chips and salsa to start while we looked over the menu. The lunches come your choice of pork, chicken, steak or ground beef and is served with rice, beans, sour cream and your choice of a fountain drink. The prices are pretty reasonable and the portions are generous. I had the burrito suizo with steak and it was delicious. This is a hidden Mukwonago gem!!! Definitely would recommend going here.

For this being the only Mexican restaurant in town, it was actually the best in town. The food portions were enormous and the taste was really authentic. And to top it all off, we had great customer service.

Honey, STOP the car! I think this is the restaurant... The sign is almost invisible and after driving past it twice and close to giving up, I'm so happy we didn't. We love Mexican food and this is the absolute BEST we've had in , well, forever. Portions are incredible, the cheese is fresh and high quality, everything we had was prepared to perfection. Enchiladas, chimichangas , chips, salsas and chili rellenos , all so tasty your mouth will thank you. Wonderful food at a reasonable price, cute clean atmosphere, it just needs a little music to feel more festive. LOVED IT !!!

This was our second time eating here. Their tacos are above average and definitely good but far from outstanding. One standout to me is that they have lengua tacos which isn't available at too many places; they were very good. My wife and another couple dined here last night. I had a plate of tacos and my wife had a chicken dish; the other couple had fajitas and steak tacos. My tacos were all good. I had a chorizo, shredded beef, lengua and steak tacos. The chorizo, shredded beef and lengua were all standouts. The rice and beans were decent but nothing to write home about.

There was only one waitstaff. She was less than friendly and could tell she was stressed out. My order was wrong, when I brought it to her attention she said I was wrong. Did not offer to correct my order and walked away. We did not get water, our drinks were not refilled or offered to refill. Took a long time to get our bill once I got it I showed her the combo she had on the ticket, was what I ordered and was the same on the menu and did not receive. At the register she offered to get my food as we were walking out the door. It had been years since I was in there and won't go back again. I will make the long drive to Waukesha to get what I ordered.

Menu was way too big, any time you have a giant menu they can never do one thing great. I thought this was Mexican food but it tasted like Caucasian Mexican food.
