I had been suffering months of constant debilitating pain due to spondylosis when i came to Colombo. I chanced upon Devi Clinic through Google search and decided to check it out. I know Doctor Selvakumar since 2007.I came to take the treatment at Devi Clinic for a damage on my Spinal cord which related to L4 and L5.I think after 6 or 7 times I was completely normal to sit and walk Since 2007 I don't have that complication or very much pain on my Spinal. I had first met Prof. Selva Kumar in 2014 when he was treating my father after a life-threatening stroke that also left him with kidney failure. Neurologists had been treating my father with barely any progress but treatments at Devi Clinic substantially him helped to the point it baffled the neurologist and his nurses. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Selvakumar for any health concerns you may have. I initially came across Devi Clinic just based on the google reviews during my short visit to Sri Lanka. I had concerns with hair loss and food sensitivities that I was hoping to get treated for. The best part about the initial consultation was Dr. Selvakumar did not dismiss any of my concerns, he listened to my concerns without denying any of it and after the consultation we were able to start the treatment. I was only able to stay for 12 treatments after which i saw a significant improvement in my hair loss and also with my food sensitivities. Receiving treatment at this clinic was the most wonderful experience of my month-long stay in Sri Lanka. Symptoms of high fever and malaise that occurred frequently after one treatment My chronic lower back pain has completely subsided. After having many needles inserted into my ear, I had them inserted all over my body. After finishing it, I was so happy that my body felt so light that I went three times in two days. What surprised me most was that my addiction to alcohol disappeared. I used to drink 1L of beer a day, but now I can be satisfied with just a small amount of beer. Since I myself work as an acupuncturist, As I understand, Dr. Sevakumar's acupuncture targets the vital points and is very effective. Not only is the doctor very skilled, but he treats the patients like his best friends. He is a moral person. Acupuncture for the ears is a truly wonderful treatment that has immediate effects on insomnia, body thinning, and back pain and other symptoms affecting the bones and joints, and I would like to research it and use it in my treatments in the future. Acupuncture for everyone! So I have been having a terrible lower back injury which I sustained whilst playing rugby. I was under painkillers and physiotherapy for quiet sometime due to unbearable pain.
