Terrible services, my wife just waited more than 2 and a half hour with our son very sick and they kept admitting customers who came after her. After multiple times my wife ask the girl at the counter on why she keep skipping her she did not even offer and apology or even answer just an smile on her face like making fun of my wife. TGH should really retrain their staff or get new ones.

Sad that this urgent care used to be the best is now the worst. Check-in is awkward and unwelcoming. Standing in silence as the clerk ignores you. 3 people in lobby when I arrived and it has been over 2 hours and I am still waiting in lobby. They literally call one person back at a time. If you have any other options, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. Update… I had to walk out without being seen after waiting 2.5 hours. I was only person in lobby for over 30mins. I hope someone above property looks into this clinic. Highly troubling what’s happening there.

Don't go! They are scammers. Back in October I broke my ankle and needed their services. They charged me for the consultation, for the X-Ray and $967.00 for "Ankle treatment". Let me tell you, they wrapped my foot and asked me to go to an Orthopedist. Guys, I was never in so much pain in my whole life, I couldn't go to the bathroom, since nothing was holding it in place. And they charged me Consultation + X-Ray + $967 for this "treatment" . When I called the billing department, they didn't even know why they charged me that, but they also never fixed that. STAY AWAY! Update: after calling them and they saying they would look my account and never return, they sent me a bill saying that they would send to a collection agency. Again: DON’T GO THERE

Terrible! My daughter went here for severe eye infection. She waited 3 hrs while others came and went. All so they could charge her $195 and give her eye drops that made her eyes worse. She tried to reach the doctor there several times. When someone finally called, she missed the call and when she tried to call back, she was routed to an answering system that kept looping to the same "press 1 if..., press 2 if..."etc and then back around again. I emailed to the email address on their FB site regarding her need, and never received an answer; nor did she. I would ne er go to this urgent care, nor would anyone else in my family after this. I would not call her experience showing them having any care AT ALL. She is still suffering and still no response. Horrible! Addendum: she received a call today a little while ago from that office only to pick up, she said hello and nothing; there was a pause and then they hung up. So, she called back only to be answered by that very rude receptionist that they have who refused to route the call. Wow! Very uncaring and uncalled for. Meanwhile, she still suffers and the doctor nor PA had contacted her.

Sam that works in the front is probably one of the rudest people I’ve encountered when it comes to customer service. Doesn’t acknowledge anyone when they come in. He was assisting another customer but after failed to call me up to check in or anything and proceeded to not apologize, or try to find a resolution or even humor me just assisted everyone around me instead. Even another patient in the waiting room mentioned something about his treatment towards me. The girl last week was amazing, she had colored eyes and lighter hair. Give her a raise, should probably retrain him.

First time attending so I had to fill out the customary paperwork which took about 20min to complete. It took about 40 min after that before I was called back but it looked like they fell a little behind due to an unexpected situation that occurred right before I arrived. Once I was in the examine room, the Nurse Practitioner was in within 10min. NP saw me and took time to examine me, and explain his thoughts and treatment options. I really appreciated that. The medications were sent to my pharmacy without delay so i was able to begin those later in the day. Overall, I thought the care was excellent!

Good people working inside but their fast track is NOT fast at all specially to current TGH patient. The front lady made me fill out all the forms as if I’m a new TGH patient when they could’ve pulled my current record. The facily is clean & organized. I got the help I needed right away and was sent out my merry way. My patient visit summary was uploaded into MyChart which I prefer. It was a good experience except for registration. Slow

I'd say if you have an emergency then don't stop here. Nothing here is urgent. They take everyone in order of check in time. Appointments mean nothing. I was here for 3 hours just to get a drug test. There was only 2 people there before me. Guy next to me was there for at least the same amount of time for a covid test. Someone showed up having chest pains and they didn't take them earlier. I don't see the point of asking for all my information for they can put it into a computer then afterwards giving me a sheet of paper to fill out that was everything they just asked me. They could've just filled it out as they filled it in on the pc. Customer service also a miss here. Most urgent cares are pretty quick and can see people in 15-30 minutes.

Would not recommend. Wife had an ear infection, came in, lady saw us for literally 30 seconds. Put the thing in her ear, again, literally for 5 seconds, said she had an ear infection which we knew and then gave us the same drops we were already taking. She was in and out. No real care or anything. Well, of course, nothing got better and here we are again today at the office less than a week later for the same issue. Paying the same amount again. We don't have insurance. We will not be back and definitely don't recommend

Asked to have my charges reviewed bc they were incorrect on more than one occasion. And instead of doing what they said. I never heard from them, they sold my info to a collection agency and now over a year later I get mail from them. Billing is a complete nightmare, and they insist on billing your insurance and won't even take your urgent care co pay. Don't go here unless you want to be over charged even when you're in network. Money hungry

I’ve been to this location a few times now. I get attitude at the front desk when a certain receptionist is there to the point that I can’t give more than 3 ⭐️, regardless of how well the rest have done their parts. She is extremely rude and has a major attitude issue that goes unchecked. They also want you to pre-check yourself in, but it hasn’t worked one time. I had to fill out the same forms every time I go in, though most of these forms could be kept on record when the info hasn’t changed from one day to the next. Some aspects of going here were completely ridiculous due to their “procedures” that are often unnecessary and added stress for the patient who is already in pain and stressed. I had follow appointments for three days in a row and each day they acted as if there was no appointment and I waited for hours to be seen.

With an reservation/appointment and arriving on time it took about 2 hours for a flu and Covid test. Staff was not very informative, or particularly friendly. The urgent care served it’s purpose being the only one accepting appointments at the time however I much prefer some of the others in the area for future needs.

Overall a good visit. The receptionist seem more interested in her phone, instead of checking in and checking out patients. I did fill out the same forms 3 times. The PA I seen was knowledgeable and helpful. He ask me good questions and was concerned for my thoughts. It was super nice to be able to get my Rx and the facility

This was our first visit to this location - previously used the location in Westchase, which was always great, but Carrollwood is closer for us now. It was very simple to make an appointment online. We were greeted immediately by the woman at the front desk. She was personable and very efficient, which is refreshing! Had to wait a bit to be called back, but that was expected. But once we were placed in a room we were visited almost immediately by the doctor. She was wonderful. Listened very carefully to the symptoms, asked really good questions, and even called later that evening with some other ideas/suggestions. I thought she went over and above. Excellent experience and I wouldn't hesitate returning. Thank you!

Upon arrival at this location the front desk receptionist took my info and I filled out check in forms. I had an appointment and am still waiting 2 hours later to be seen (writing this from the waiting room). The receptionist informed me they had marked me as a no show (after I completed check in and sat there for hours). I haven’t seen the doc yet so can’t comment there but based on the wait time alone and incompetence at the front desk I rate this location as a 1 star for the front desk staff. Update: The nurse practitioner and medical staff who saw me were great so adding a star for them.

Does anyone work in this dump? They can’t even keep this place properly staffed. The lobby is a ghost town. The affiliation with Tampa General must be a joke, because this facility and their lack of basic customer care is ridiculous, and I don’t expect that from TG. Both myself and my mother have gone in at different times and sat for at least 30 minutes + without seeing anyone even IN the reception area, much less actually getting to interact with staff.

Okay, I'm one of those who ALWAYS finds the "bad" in things. TGH through me for a loop. This place was PERFECT. There must be very happy with their jobs because I left there feeling wonderful. EVERYONE made me feel like I was the only one that mattered. What a difference this place made in my hospital experience CAUSE I HATE HOSPITALS.

Long wait (even with Fast Trac appt- told “only one provider”)be seen by what seemed to be inexperienced Nurse Practitioner who had to check with her overseer ( by phone I assume as no physician showed up after seeing me only to be told they cannot evaluate my problem) and to go to an ER. Claimed they could not send a sample for cultures. I was having gastrointeritis. I would not recommend wasting your time. I am adding further caution. I was charged for urine test that was ordered before a “doctor person” laid eyes on me to supposedly rule out dehydration. I feel they should have seen me first to determine if I needed test for this. I was not having any symptoms btw. I was totally charged $675 for being “evaluated” per the business office and my evaluation was “we can’t evaluate you here”. I will never go here. They should have told me we don’t treat diarrhea here and sent me away to ER first. So they got paid for nothing.

Worst place. Totally disorganized down to their billing. I provide my insurance card and they don’t even send the information to their billing company and will automatically bill your credit card. Go to advent health- at least they have it together and will get the billing straight. The care at advent health is also top notch.

The entire team at TGH Urgent care, Gunn Hwy, was caring/friendly and more importantly competent. Although the Urgent Care Center was very busy, I was in and out in less than an hour which included waiting for test results. TGH Urgent Care is my go to when I have an urgent, but non emergent health concern, and want a provider to lay eyes on me, and, or, I anticipate testing will be required. Otherwise, I use TGH Virtual which is just as great!

Had the worst experience. We went there at 3 o’clock, checked in at front desk as soon as we got there and she made us wait 2 hours. People before us got to see dr first while we were just waiting there. Front desk lady has no professionalism, no work ethic at all.

Service is Great at the Wesley Chapel Location each time I have gone but I only rated 3 stars because they do not take payment at time of visit. They say they have to "bill later." I travel and am not always home to check the mail and do not always have phone service so paperless bills arent the best either. It's very inconvient they will no longer accept payment at the time of visit. I recently received a bill collector call for something I had the means to pay for at the time of service. Now instead of paying $50.00 at time of service the bill collector wants to charge an "additional $15.00" fee so now instead of $50.00 which again, I wanted to pay at time of service I have to pay $65.00 because I travel and don't always have internet to receive paperless statements. I wish they would go back to accepting payment at time of service so this would not happen. I like to pay things immediatly due to my insane schedule so things like this don't happen. TGH PLEAE ACCEPT MONEY/PAYMENT AT TIME OF SERVICE, I WANT TO PAY.

Keep driving to the REAL general hospital if you want CARE!! After speaking to poison control on the 1 800 line they told me to go into the non-emergency Urgent Care, I proceeded to go in only to be laughed at directly in the face by the intake lady. After after that I was treated like a criminal and basically I left without care. Disgusting that these folks work iin The field of caring❤

Been waiting over 2 hours for seemingly no reason. I thought this was an urgent care not a “well get to you when we get to you” care. No warning of this time, no sympathy for the patients based on watching this father go up and ask more than once as to what’s taking so long. Unacceptable for a business like this.

The staff I met here was great! From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor, everyone was kind and did their job well. The nurse in particular (Marcus?) was funny and what I can assume was his goal to cheer me up certainly was achieved. From arriving to leaving, I was there about 2 hours which is a lot, but that’s what it’s like everywhere right now and at least when I was being seen, it was 5 star quality.

I have an urological procedure done recently. The service and the cares of all the staffs and the doctor are excellent. The registration and the staring time for procedure was very fast and properly done. The post procedure care staffs were very attentive. The nurses were very kind and caring and trying to help without any hesitation. Highly recommend this place for everyone.

I had surgery on Tuesday with Dr. Rutherford and his wonderful team! I came in for my first surgery ever in my life and him and his team were amazing, they answered all of my questions, did their best to keep me calm and relaxed. Afterwards with my stomach being in so much pain. The care team did everything they could to make it comfortable. Everyone from doctors all the way to kitchen and cleaning staff were just wonderful. I hope I never have to come back for anything else but if I did I would most definitely come here!! Thank you staff!!!

Hello, I want to leave my comment about my experience here at the hospital and the truth is that everyone's attention is too good, both doctors and other staff, I am more than pleased, it is the second time that I have had complicated surgeries here. congratulations Tampa general hospital, excuse my translation I'm Hispanic.

As a mom of a 5 yr old I was so impressed with how kind and helpful everyone was. From the wonderful lady the front desk who gave my daughter coloring pages and color pencils to keep her calm to the wonderful nurse who discharged us. Every employee at Tampa General Hospital gave outstanding care. I would recommend Tampa General Hospital to anyone having any kind of procedure. I'm so thankful for the care my daughter received while there.

Low busy times but wait times that go above eta. 🤔 Lack of a sense of urgency at the urgent care. 2:15 was the appointment time and it's been two hours since. Ridiculous on a Tuesday with almost no one inside just for an athletes physical. Nurse was kind and doctor.

  • 4/5 Mallory M. 1 year ago on Google
Once I finally got back to see a provider, they were excellent! Also did a great job of connecting me with a referral to a specialist nearly immediately after my appointment. The problem was the front end required over an hour await, despite having an appointment, and rave reviews for a sparkly facility. In this respect, the facility is pretty average. If I hadn’t read so many 5-start reviews touting exceptional experiences, I might not have thought much of it, but had high expectations going in. I’d say my experience is pretty typical of other urgent care experiences I’ve had in the past.

  • 1/5 Andrew O. 1 year ago on Google
Friendly staff, and efficient visit however at the conclusion of the visit there was mention of scripts being sent to my local pharmacy. I did not receive an After Visit Summary (I have to drive back out to the office) for that, AND they want me to get reevaluated [two days later] for the medication since the scripts were only a discussion point and not part of my original visit? The communication was way off on this. Usually an urgent care is one and done with a doctor follow up. This is definitely a first being asked to come in AGAIN to urgent care for what is a viral, common cold. I should be home resting.

  • 5/5 Richard G. 1 year ago on Google
Great experience. I didn't even have to leave my car. I only had to wait about 3 minutes. Test was quick, thorough and painless. And the people who assisted me. Were very polite and courteous. I appreciate that. Thank you TGH Urgent Care.😊

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy this past Friday. I went in like a ball of nerves.and immediately from the first to the last contact (to include all employee positions and departments from the parking attendant to the attendant at the discharge area) I encountered was a great pleasure. Even going through the hospital construction make over was and is going to be impressive. Keep up the great job and please don't ever change your beautiful ways that you all are, believe it or not just your smiles transparent through the masks are welcoming.

I am very impressed with the care I received. I came in with an appt and was seen right away. Every staff member I dealt with was amazing! They were caring and very focused on my health. This is my go to for all urgent care needs from now on! They even call you a few days later to check in on you and ensure your feeling better.

Male NP that works in Triage is Amazing. African American Female doctor is awesome, as well as the Caucasian doctor (currently pregnant). The front office receptionists could use a crash course in providing good customer service. Even with the not-so-great check in, I would say that I have a positive overall experience with each visit.
