If
I
could
give
negative
stars
I
would.
I
brought
my
dog
in
on
11/21
with
acute
inability
to
get
up
on
his
own
or
lay
down
on
his
own.
My
dog
has
never
once
despite
him
being
11
ever
showed
any
signs
of
old
age
issues
getting
up.
Dr.
Brahman
saw
him
and
stated
it
was
most
likely
arthritis.
I
stated
he
has
never
had
any
issue
like
that
before.
They
ordered
bloodwork,
ua,
and
xrays.
Overwhelmed
by
the
price
of
the
things
to
do
I
said
I
would
have
to
try
and
figure
out
a
way
to
pay.
That
is
on
me
to
leave
that
day,
I
just
needed
to
figure
out
my
finances.
They
gave
me
gabapentin
and
offered
a
shot
for
arthritis
which
I
declined
as
I
didn't
think
this
was
arthritis.
I
called
the
very
next
day
to
schedule
an
appt
to
do
all
the
tests.
The
lady
told
me
she
had
a
4pm
and
I
asked
multiple
times
if
they
would
be
able
to
do
all
the
tests
at
4pm.
She
said
yes.
I
arrive
and
immediatly
Dr.
Brahman
says
they
can't
do
the
xrays
because
he
would
have
to
be
sedated
and
they
close
at
5pm.
I
was
upset
because
again
I
had
asked
prior
to
accepting
the
appt.
Anyway
I
voiced
my
concerns
about
him
seeming
to
have
pain
near
his
abdomen
and
it
looked
slightly
swollen
to
me.
He
again
dismissed
me
and
stated
that
when
a
dog
has
arthritis
and
back
pain
will
cause
abd
pain.
I
went
ahead
with
the
bloodwork
and
ua
workup.
My
dog
ended
up
having
a
uti.
I
asked
if
I
could
schedule
the
xrays
for
fri
as
thurs
was
thanksgiving.
He
told
me
no
no
xrays
are
plan
B.
Lets
do
the
antibiotics
then
worry
about
the
arthritis.
I
again
voiced
my
concern
I
did
not
think
it
was
arthritis.
He
dismissed
me
and
left
the
room.
The
vet
tech
entered
with
the
Augmentin
in
her
hand
and
stated
the
antibiotics
were
118.00
or
they
could
print
me
out
a
script
and
I
could
fill
it
at
a
pharmacy
for
cheaper.
She
did
mention
that
they
would
be
closed
if
a
pharmacist
needed
to
call.
I
said
well
would
their
be
a
problem
they
would
need
to
call?
I
would
have
gladly
paid
the
extra
to
start
him
on
the
antibiotics.
She
said
no
their
shouldn't
be.
I
had
a
witness
plus
my
kids
in
the
room
to
attest
to
all
that
occurred.
They
also
again
tried
to
get
me
to
take
a
100$
shot
for
arthritis
which
again
i
declined.
Turns
out
no
pharmacy
could
fill
the
script
how
it
was
written
and
I
think
she
knew
that.
Moving
on,
needless
to
say
I
needed
to
now
wait
until
Friday
to
get
his
antibiotics.
Friday
rolls
around
and
my
dogs
swelling
had
progressed
down
his
leg.
I
didn't
even
bother
calling
plantation
as
they
have
been
so
helpful
so
far
and
took
him
to
an
emergency
vet.
They
did
xrays
and
turns
out
my
dog
had
a
mass.
Again
I
told
you
I
thought
his
abdomen
felt
swollen
and
you
told
me
it
was
arthritis
causing
stomach
pain.
He
ended
up
progressing
rapidly
and
unfortunately
died
Sunday.
Shocker
guess
what
he
didn't
show
on
his
xray
any
evidence
of
arthritis.
Lesson
to
be
learned,
on
my
part
I
should
have
been
more
insistent
and
lesson
on
the
negligent
vet...
try
listening
to
your
pet
owners,
I
have
been
with
this
dog
for
11.5
years
and
you
saw
him
for
maybe
a
total
of
15
mins.
Just
because
he
is
old
doesn't
guarantee
he
has
arthritis.
Just
listen,
that
is
what
I
hope
you
take
out
of
this
as
I
won't
be
able
to
take
my
dog
home.
