We had Chicken Manchow soup Chicken grate crispy Chicken lazeez gravy . Absolutely tasteless restaurant I wont recommend anyone here half of their dishes are not available We asked for Chicken lollypop and it was not available, so basic one We ordered Manchow soup and I never had such tasteless soup ever Chicken Grate crispy was 0/10 Lazeez gravy was 5/10 Rest everything was worst Even they wont give you schezwan Staff argue alot even one lady had a fight with waiter. The entire restaurant is waste of money, time. Services are too slow . Never ever visit this place and waste your money. and I think the one who gave good reviews are paid one😂

I remember my uncle had taken me to this place in 1999 and ever since this restaurant has a special place in my heart. I have been a regular visitor as my graduation college was near by and this place has never failed in terms of meeting the food taste and quality consistency. Whenever i come to shopping the food stop still remains this place.

This review is from an 11 year old perspective. I went to this restaurant a few days ago. The taste was great. I loved it. It is near the Gateway of India and is at a very prime location. Many people visit this fast food restaurant every day. This restaurant easily deserved to get 5 stars but the quantity was a bit less. To counteract that, they actually had low prices. And yes, the service was very fast. They have both veg and non veg food. I recommend all people to eat at this restaurant if you are visiting the Gateway of India.

The tagline of the restaurant is "The Restaurant that makes good food, even better.", but sometimes it not goes well. The restaurant was recommended by my sister as its her favourite place to dine in. The ambiance is quite attractive and good, it have AC hall for family. Comfy sofa and chair, the catchy wall painting with scenery of sun rise. The thing where it goes wrong when we ordered the food. Chicken Manchow Soup: The hot soup was good enough with ample of chicken pieces in it but taste saltless. Adding salt and pepper fixed it. Chicken Thread Crispy: As steward recommend this we order it, but in low spicy as my sister had bad experience on previous visit. The crispy chicken goes perfect with perfect masala on it close to have like Sathe Chicken. Chicken Lazeez: This is recommended by manager, the dish goes well but have amount of excess oil. Topped with boiled egg and raisins. Butter Garlic Naan: The naan was perfect and buttery with low amount of garlic but taste good. Egg Fried Rice: The rice was cooked well but we feel like the strong smell of uncooked oil, just seems like it was splash after cooked rice. This is negative part of the dish. Chicken Lollypop: The lollypop was quite big coated well in batter and deep fried it. The crisp and crunch is what goes well. Chicken Tikka Biryani: The best biryani of Tikka version goes pretty well. The masala quantity should be low but it worth give taste. The service was good and well maintained by the staff. Recommend to visit but have the dish as per recommendation.

Food Inn Colaba is the best and less expensive but paisa wassool food outlet.chicken tandooris chicken massala murgh massallum chinese also good.raan biryani order in advance. Its tandoor meat dish 1200 bucks for 5/6 people.After lockdown place started but staff and cook seems to be changed but still worth trying. I hope the previous taste returns soon.

A good place on Colaba causeway, which is good and tasty. Easy on pocket also, but recent observation is that the quantity has reduced. Altogether a nice place to eat with family and friend. The Chinese here is unlike any other which is not that spicy and slightly mild in taste. The Punjabi food here is typical.

Visited a food inn almost after 3 years! To eat butter chicken! And Yes the taste was still the same as before I absolutely loved it! The crispy treat chicken kinda had lost its taste not sure but something was odd Over loved the service! But the little stinge of the foul smell kept bothering me the whole time this the 3 stars

The food was stale, the moment they got the biryani with the smell itself we understood it was not fresh. Post informing the staff they were as if it is not stale its like this only i said than you people should eat this for which they replaced the biryani with chinese fried rice even that was similar half cooked rice tasting like detergent powder. Will never recommend this place to anyone. The prices they charge as if they maintain hygiene.

went here for a Sunday dinner. place was decently crowded. its a spaciously place as well. Had their thread crispy chicken which was really good. something you should really try. Chicken Biryani on the other hand is was really oily. tasted really good though. Will definitely recommend this place for food. staff is alright.Pricing is also decent.

Average food. The butter chicken was nice. But almost every single gravy I've tasted has been sweet, whether veg or non veg. And the chicken noodles had some weird chicken pieces.

Not ambience,which is okayish but tasty food is wat packs a punch at FOOD INN Service - good. The staff is well trained and reply with a smile to any questions asked. We ordered the chicken tandoori half, which at food inn is to die for. The reshmi tikka were succulent and full of flavours. On the sides were masala marinated onions which are out of this world My all time fav is the murg musullam- half. A huge portion fit for the kings. The butter naan and the wheat tandoori roti were again superlative and customised to our taste buds. The huge portions easily filled our stomachs which left no place for biryani or desserts. Everything tasted good but looked ordinary and a lil effort shud be put on food plating so that the food looks gud. At Food inn one is surely IN for a treat.

Recently ordered a huge order from them for home delivery Upon opening the food the chicken was raw. When called they ‘offered’ to replace a half plate but the delivery boy came and offered to give us one peace out of it. Neither did I ask for a replacement nor wanted it but the way they treated us especially the delivery boy made me feel very less as a customer. The food was paid for and not a free service that we claimed. Very bad experience and I hope the management does something about it.

Pathetic behaviour by staff, waiters are ill mannered and badtameez at best. Even owners are non responsive and when complained showed no response. The food is decent but the indecent behaviour by staff is a big turn off. It’s a strong suggestion to be aware of the waiters specially “Amit” might give you scares for life.

After the tyring shopping session at Causeway, the spacious restaurant that allows you to gasp your breath. Veg and nonveg food is served, and both are equally delicious. Staff is helpful! Restaurant accommodates your request to charge a phone in case of emergency. They have an Ac and Non Ac section AC sections have stairs, hence not wheel chair friendly. Non-Ac section is accessible. Kids and senior citizen friendly place. It is a family restaurant.

Absolutely pathetic experience with regards to hospitality. The manager , who is actually supposed to be at his best behavior while dealing with customers ,spoke in a very ill mannered way that is absolutely not acceptable. I observed that ,the manager speaks to his staff in a very bad way publicly. This portray itself made me so uncomfortable not wanting to sit anymore at that place with my family. Owing to this behavior the entire vibe/energy changes for the customer. I would like to give zero stars for this restaurant.

Good food. Rates are also good. I tried Chinese items like Chicken Fried Rice, Chilly and for drinks had Fresh Lime Soda. Tea is also worth a try. Do visit Food Inn when you are shopping at Colaba Causeway. The pan shop outside the Restaurant is also awesome. Worth a try.

Just the fan in non AC section needs to have a regulator so customer can request the speed which suits them chicken Lazeez & Afghani in main course and Shanghai rice are their speciality. Do try out pan from the pan seller outside the restaurant. Do at least visit ones.

Food Inn is one of the most reasonably priced restaurant in bombay. I visited after long time mutton seekh was delicious , mutton kolhapuri was good but would not recommend mutton muglai very very bad don't try it. Over good place well maintained good quality food reasonably priced . If you are looking for restaurant to enjoy with friends and family will recommend this place.

My parents have been visiting this restaurant since 90s. Love the Paneer Laziz here, it's a must try if you're a paneer lover. Good restaurant with AC section situated in Colaba Causeway opposite to Wesley Church & Colaba Police Station.

In busy streets of Colaba where you want to eat reasonable and good food i would suggest this place. Atmosphere here is nice place is neat and service is neat. I had their Roti and Chicken Jeprezi, close to that it was really good and variety type of dish.

I've been going here since so many years now with family and friends and this place is great and the food was amazing. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing the location is amazing. An excellent place to have lunch near Hotel Taj.After our boat ride in the gate of India and sight seeing we were very hungry with a 7 yr old looking out for an eat out with comfort food ... We reached here @Food Inn and ordered Chicken Lahori, steamed rice , butter roti and chicken biriyani...... It was very yummy ... My kid had her lunch without any fuss!!! The staff were very friendly. Service was excellent 👍
