Fantastic joint to have misal, batata wada, thalipith. I tried the Jain thalipith and it was to the point. My Jain friend does come here often as he gets Jain food options here and loves them. You get cutlet, wada, thalipith in Jain options. Other snacks are also there. We ended with piyush and it costed is 360 rupees only. The joint is clean. Parking can be a problem since it is on main road in parel. But so visit this joint

Horrible experience. Not at all expected that Ladu samrat will give stale angoor rabdi. It had the most horrible taste ever. Not at all recommended to buy any sweets from this Shop ever. I ordered from zomato and was shocked to see such cheap third class packaging. Ladu samrat can’t even afford small plastic boxes? Please don’t ever opt for this restaurant

Great experience not a single dish which I ordered disappointed me. But the winners are the chutneys. A must visit if you don’t want ZOMATO to charge you some extra bucks.

An authentic place for a Maharashtrian food. The Vada is good, misal pav is not worth at all, as the misal contains mix of all the sprouts. The South Indian dishes are okay to have, not so good. Also, place is non AC, bit crowded and congested because the kitchen and juice counter are also inbuilt within the space. The usual waiting time is 20-30 min depending upon the crowd. Hygiene is very poor as we found 2 hair in chutney and the Hand Wash at the wash basin is full mixed of water. As a well known restaurant, they must keep these basic amenities in good manner for the customers.

One of the best eateries to experience authentic Maharashtrian food! Kothambir wadi, alu wadi, aamras puri, and kharvas! The best meal!

It is very simple, neat and clean pure vegetarian restaurant which serves delicious, best quality food. They serves the best quality food in reasonable rates. They mostly serves traditional Maharashtrian food. Thali options are also available here. They serve some unique ice-cream flavors such as Puranpoli ice-cream, Gulkand ice-cream, Ukadiche Modak ice-cream, etc. Ladu Samrat is iconic when it comes to authentic and traditional Maharashtrian food. They are very famous for their vada, misal pav, sabudana vada, thalipith and kothimbir vadi. I had misal pav and vada this time, the misal was okay okay and I think earlier it was used to be the best. Batata vada remains iconic here with the same taste. The menu over here is limited. Service is quite prompt. The staff is friendly and polite….No parking facility is available here as the restaurant is in crowdy Parel area..You'll get authentic Mumbai (typical marathi) taste here. Has a variety over breakfast menu and reasonable pricing. Just awesome.

I had ordered dry puri bhaji which was fine as it is, then took idli and vada, that was also fine, nothing special, the vada was quite oily like it is available everywhere, rest all is normal, hype has been created about it. nothing that special

This is one of the oldest restaurants in lalbaug (Veg). They serve very good authentic Maharashtrian food. Over the years they have maintained the quality of food with good service. Probably one of the good places of having a quick bite.
