Food was awful service was worse! Just don’t bother unless you want to be disappointed. There are far better places to eat quite close by!! Charged us for the wrong food and didn’t refund- refused to change peas for salad because you can order salad separate - then only removed said peas from plate once bought to the table to make a silly point? .. honestly

Large high ceiling pub with a 50 seat theatre upstairs. Roomy and good for groups. A short walk from Gloucester Road tube and has bus stops very close by.

Stopped off for a quick pub lunch when I was early for a local appointment. I arrived just at the start of lunchtime and the pub was quiet. I wanted a quick bite so ordered from their sandwich menu and this consisted of the choice of several sandwiches/ wraps etc and a range of non alcoholic drinks. I ordered the Korean chicken wrap, which was very tasty and came with the choice of a side salad or fries. Friendly team Good food Prompt service Good value for money Highly recommended

My local Pub is run by a fantastic team. Having just had the watermelon & Feta cheese salad- it was divine, had to rave about it. It’s my new addiction- New Chef apparently, can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Staff always friendly & smiley, with great advice on allergies for food. Being a coeliac- eating out can be tough. Not here. They take the time to explain the menu and ingredients. See you all very soon 5xstars

Went there to have a drink with my buddy and when I ordered a soda, they told me that soda refills were extra.

Great atmosphere in this cozy pub on Old Brompton Road. The food was delicious, the waiters were friendly and great selection of craft beers! Nice outdoor garden with heaters and they even have their own theatre upstairs! Highly recommended!

Lovely pub if you're in South Ken and don't want South Ken. Beautiful interior, helpful staff, Pride on tap, very good bacon cheeseburger and pies. Also a theatre upstairs, so really worth supporting. We used it as an essential family lunch stop off before going to the Science Museum.

Lovely pub with professional and friendly staff. The food is delicious and a good choice too. We attended a show in the upstairs theatre called 'Bystanders' which was both dark and funny. Some bits terrified me. Great evening! Highly recommend the show and pub ☺️

Excellent service and the food was piping hot. The manager was fantastic and very hospitable. Something I don't see often so I thought I would do a review.

Had a really good Sunday Roast! The pub itself was packed and I loved the ambiance. Service was friendly. I had a glass of Aspall cider and being a tourist would love to know which version it was. Will come back to this wonderful super English pub on my next trip!

Good beer, proper pub vibes I would say. Comfortable place. Staff seem helpful and friendly. Theatre upstairs with variety of shows we went to 'Boys in the Buff' with clothes optional audience. Very good. Toilets clean but gents upstairs of you don't mind that.

Pricey, noisy, flashy, pub food. Very attractive for 25-35 who do not really want to talk by rather pretend, shouting at each other and confusing noise with atmosphere (think ocean 11 Brad Pit scene with barman).

I bought a ticket for the theatre arrived here 19:07 and had a pint while waiting to be called... They said they ring the bell to call for the play but me and my friend was sitting next to the bell and heard nothing. 19:28 I asked the bartender which she said wait for the bell. Went up 19:30... All closed. Probably not now. Check again 19:35 and the guy said I couldn't go up anymore because the play already started... Then manager came to our table and explain this is not under their control because is managed by a 3rd party company... also offered a free ticket next day (which we can't attend unfortunately) We will stay for the 2nd half of the play and see...

We got there at 3 on a Sunday and there was no beef or chicken roasts. We specifically went there for a roast as it had made it in some London hitlists for best pub roasts and we were very disappointed. Small servings and undercooked potatoes. Very average. Service was friendly and efficient but definitely won't return for food.

Advertised as a gastro pub it still feels like a pub. Has a theatre upstairs I've seen a couple of good productions. Very friendly professional staff. Really comfortable place in feeling and ambience.

Best pub in the area , hands down! Since the new manager has started I can see the improvement! I live opposite of the pub and I used to be able to walk in any time of day for a table, but these days, they’re so busy! Well done to him and his team!

Come with a friend to watch a play and we literally stay bellow the bells 30 min b4 the starting time. We couldn't hear any bell and then we went to ask the bartender the situation and he said that they ringed the bell and we were able to watch until the 2nd half even if it was 7:35pm. The manager tho explained me that the theatre company isn't part of them and the bartender who gave us to customer service was just on his first week. So changing it from 1 star to 4 as it as a pub is quiet a good environment.

Nice pub with decent craft beer selection. Went for the beyond meat burger, it was nice. Has a small theatre above it. Staff very helpful.

Very good Timothy Taylor Landlord beer - well kept as usual. Friendly bar staff. Usually plenty of seating after the pub theatre starts upstairs.

Highly recommmend, the Devon fresh cider with the hot goat's cheese. Always delicious! Then, I go upstairs to see a play in the theatre.

A rustic look with some of the best chips I ever had and one of the friendliest moods I've ever experienced. The staff is all-around helpful and cheerful, and drinks are plentiful.

The Sunday roast was the worst roast I’ve ever had. The Yorkshire pudding was flat and simultaneously burnt and soggy. The meat was chewy and the parsnips were impossible to cut through, had to leave them on the plate. Absolute rip off for £20. The servers were nice and the food came out quick but that is the only positive thing I have to say.
