HISTORY
:-
This

was
built
by
the

Ad
as

in
what
was
than
known
as
Bombay
and
Bassein
Province
of
Portuguese.
It
was
built
by
Antonio
Do
Porto
of
the
Francisan
Order
hence
this
makes
it
the
oldest
historical
structure
of
Portuguese
heritage,
as
well
as
a
Shrine
and
a
must

place
if
you

On

as
part
of
Catherine's
dowry
to
Charles.After
the
British

from
Portuguese
the
British

this
Church
to
St.

Altough
Bombay
coming
under
British
Rule
post
1661,
Portuguese
were
still
allowed
to
having
trading
Post
in
Bombay
city
untill
1947.
I
will
post
Some
more
pictures
