In February 2020 there was art festival in this garden Here people from all over India come and show their specialty and skill. During this period this place is decorated like anything. There would be stall from you can buy innovative stuff, there will be Arts which will give you some message in some of the other way. There will be ways shown to make you reuse, reduce and recycle things. The only bad part is during the last day and specially on weekends, this place becomes so crowded that you don't get a chance to enjoy it fully.

Surprisingly green area midway between Churchgate and CSMT stations, now deteriorated. It is not very clean, though a lot of people visit for rest and recreation. The Charkha installed close to the entrance is a draw only to newcomers to the park. On asking some regulars to the park about the significance of the structure, no one was able to tell me about it. Even the plaque doesn't give much information, except that it is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's Charkha. It is a beautiful space that should be nurtured. The garbage should be removed and the flower beds brought back to full bloom.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this place on the way to Churchgate station from Floral fountain. It’s easy to miss this if you are not attentive. The area has a lush green canopy and hence. I was looking at a statue trying to guess of it was Mr Gokhale or Mr Tilak , when I spotted something unique. So I walked in to see it from close quarters . I was pleasantly surprised to see this amazing structure standing tall. The area has a Garden and children playground. Food is not allowed and hence it’s clean. Maybe next time just pay a visit when u are near Churchgate.

They have a small play area for kids. the walking area is good. There are many beautiful flowers inside. Seating area is comfortable, ideal for picnic Perfect place to sit and relax. There are a few stray dogs who are quite friendly.

Cross Maidan Garden, situated in the heart of bustling Mumbai, is a serene and verdant oasis that offers a much-needed respite from the city's hustle and bustle. Recently, I had the pleasure of spending a peaceful afternoon at this charming garden, and it proved to be a delightful escape from the urban chaos. Upon entering Cross Maidan Garden, I was immediately struck by its expansive greenery and open spaces. The well-maintained lawns and lush foliage provided a calming environment that felt like a breath of fresh air. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers and anyone seeking a tranquil retreat within the city. The garden's well-laid pathways and shaded seating areas beckon visitors to take leisurely strolls or find a quiet corner to relax. It's a wonderful place to unwind, read a book, or simply enjoy the soothing ambiance amidst the gentle rustling of leaves and the songs of birds. Cross Maidan Garden's picturesque setting makes it a popular spot for families and friends to gather for picnics and outdoor activities. I noticed children running and playing, laughter filling the air, and the sound of camaraderie as people engaged in conversations. It's heartening to see a space that brings people together and fosters a sense of community. One of the highlights of the garden is its historical significance. It has witnessed several cultural events and public gatherings over the years. The green expanse has played host to various exhibitions, fairs, and cultural festivals, adding to its allure and making it an important landmark in Mumbai's history. The garden's accessibility and central location make it easily reachable for both locals and tourists alike. Whether you're a resident seeking a peaceful escape or a traveler looking to experience a slice of Mumbai's greenery, Cross Maidan Garden welcomes all with open arms. I must also mention the garden's cleanliness and upkeep, which is commendable. The well-manicured lawns, clean pathways, and availability of basic amenities make the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable for visitors. In conclusion, Cross Maidan Garden is a hidden gem in the heart of Mumbai. It offers a delightful blend of nature, tranquility, and community spirit that is rare to find within a bustling metropolis. Whether you're seeking a quiet refuge, a place to connect with loved ones, or simply a green space to unwind, Cross Maidan Garden provides it all. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the city's chaos and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

This ground is located near to csmt station. It is located between the fashion street and csmt station. If you go by walk from csmt station to fashion street you to cross the garden. Gym khana is also located near to this. The streets food also available outside the gate of it. Well maintained garden with few flowers makes this garden more beautiful. Little place to seat relax in lush green garden.
