I recently visited the hospital for fissure. The consultation+admission fee is Rs. 2000. I was assigned a doctor at OPD. I entered his room, wait time was pretty less. As soon as I entered, the doctor started bombarding questions. I couldn't reply much, in the end of a minute he diagnosed depression and prescribed me lab tests worth Rs. 12000. This doctor didn't listen to me properly and didn't let me speak, he said "I'm having a packed day today, still I took your case." As if he's doing a favor. I wasted Rs. 2000 for his stupid one minute, and also he asked me to come and follow up the next week. I asked the reception if I could consult a different doctor, they told you have to pay an amount of Rs. 1800 again. I wasn't ready to again go waste my money. Maybe some doctors are good, but my experience created a stigma that this hospital is a money laundering institution.

Extremely poor contact support. I have been trying to book an appointment since past two days but the operators keeps putting me on hold without a response. They seem to look like they don't know what they are doing. All I can hear is internal laughter and chatter instead of helping me out with an appointment. They are not even trained to guide a patient to the right person if they don't have the answer. They just blatantly hang up without any justification. I am so so so disappointed .

I took my child for a scan and they had to insert a canula. They asked us to leave the room saying that the parents cannot stay with the child when they are giving injection to the children. My 3 year old child was crying because he was scared seeing only strangers around him. They called more staff to restrain his body but still didnt allow us into the room. We have done this before in other reputed hospital and we were present in the room and only a trained nurse was required then. Here they needed a Doctor (Dr. Aakash)? And they did a horrible job. My child was scared and made the whole scan a very difficult process. The doctor lied that he pricked my child only once but that was not the case when we saw his wounds. They were trying to do everything in secret without even explaining us the procedure and the medicines before giving it to our child. We had to keep asking them for details on the procedure but they were reluctant to tell us anything. We were kept in dark. They didnt check and even ask us if child is having chain/jewellery on his body near his scanned area until we asked them about it. This was after he was already harnessed to the scanning machine.Horrible experience. We were traumatised, angry and feeling guilty for putting my child through this torture. So UNPROFESSIONAL.Will not recommend it to anyone.

With this hospital being as big as it is, as well known as it is, it has to be the most unorganized and chaotic hospital I have been to. There is no structure, no communication, nothing is digitized, there is no coordination amongst the staff here. Appointments are of no use, as nothing is followed. Each time I have visited I’ve had to be at the hospital for near to 3 hours - for tests and a consultation. The staff is not at all concerned. The customer service is awful. No one takes ownership and responsibility. It’s actually scary to see that this is how the attitude is in a hospital which is where people should feel helped and safe and attended to. I would recommend people to choose or consider a different hospital if they are in Bombay. It’s really not worth wasting so much time. From basic staff to reception to technicians and even doctors. Just overall such a bad experience. I’m thankful there was nothing serious going on while I had to visit this hospital. Definitely will not be revisiting.

Just called to enquire about vaccination. Call was transferred & someone did speak but didn't respond back & disconnected the call. USA , UK people are committed to their jobs but in India people aren't. Having personal experience so saying. At this time where hospitals & clinics should help they're avoiding. If this would've been USA or UK they would've definitely helped. Thanks a ton for this wonderful behaviour Lilavati

This Hospital is a Big Scammers, fraudsters and cheaters. Please do not go into this Hospital for any kind of Operation or Surgery as the Doctors misguide a lot that you have this disease that disease and you have undergo an Operation or Surgery just for looting big money. This Hospital is only there for money making business. All the Doctors are the Biggest Fraudsters in this Hospital. They do not care for the well being of the Patients. They even suggest wrong Medication as well as wrong treatment. Last year I was having Coronavirus and when I went for a test I was tested Corona positive in the Casualty but before admitting me in the Hospital the Staffs were asking for the Money to be paid before rather than giving treatment. Ongoing my treatment for 5 days, the Medicines, Remediciver, steroids and other medicines that was given to me due to that I am suffering from Avascular Necrosis (A Hip-joint problem). A complete wrong medication and treatment was given to me. This Hospital they lie, cheat and misguide everyone about the treatment and diseases to make ramsome Money. About the Avascular Necrosis (A Hip-joint problem) when I consulted with Dr Archik after telling me about the problem, he was misguiding me to go for the Hip joint operation straight away to loot the money. He was telling me that for the some Stem cell treatment it was Rs 40,000/- and there was another one which was Rs 2,00,000/-. He was giving me the option. Only the Lilavati Hospital is well maintained with ambience, decor and design. Many people in Bandra west say that "Lilavati Hospital Baut Bada Choor hai". Now due to wrong Medication and treatment, I will be undergoing Hip-replacement surgery in Hindhuja Hospital that is costing me Rs 10,00,000/- for both my Hips. If you want to Consult to a Very good Orthopedic surgeon then its Dr Sanjay Agarwala at Hindhuja Hospital in Mahim.

This is one of the worst hospital in respect of treatment of middle class people, doctors are only for taking money, they explains the problem severe and tend do more than required to get more money, then after no care by doctors, network of doctors work to give business to one other. I was reffered to remove stone by one doctor to other showing an image may be of stone, but after operation the same was found present in image. Even after taking good money hospital provides torn linens. I got treatment by Dr Girish Mukund and Dr Sameer Pareekh, in my opinion strictly not recommendable, If you are serious about your health. Pls avoid this hospital.

7 star hospital..Lilavati Hospital.. The facilities and services provided were top-notch and the staff were extremely professional, caring and attentive to your needs. The hospital is well-maintained and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The medical equipment and technology used in the hospital are of the highest quality, which gave you confidence in the treatments. The doctors and nurses were very knowledgeable. The staff were very kind and friendly, and always made sure that patient was comfortable and had everything he needed. They were always available to answer any questions I had, and made sure that I was well-informed about my treatment and progress. Overall, I would highly recommend Lilavati Hospital if you have money then this is the best seeking medical care in Mumbai. The hospital's commitment to quality care and patient comfort is evident in everything they do, and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay

Lilavati Hospital is one of the landmarks in Bandra west. It is a well reputed institutions with all medical facilities under one roof. Apart from in patient treatment, there is OPD and regular consultation available with reputed doctors available in most fields of medicine. Of course, hospitals, like any service institution, each person has his own views and experience. We lost a loved one after 15 days in ICU/ ventilator. However, staff doctors seem to be professional. The road outside the hospital is very congested and parking is a major issue.

Excellent doctors and staff. But doesn’t deserve to be a hospital. Kindly rename it as Lilavati Hotel, bunch of money hungry people who would let a patient suffer rather than checking with their banking system

Worst treatment for covid 19 patients, basically there is no service except food and medicine per day , no point keeping hopes from doctors , as they have no review updated about the patient, and the relative of the patient aren’t given right information about doctor too , which is worst to judge the patients health recovery in this pandemic!! Please don’t admit your patient or spend money in this hospital for atleast for this covid19 treatment

A real bad experience from when my dad was transferred from the ICCU to the general ward. Even in ICCU the team for treatments were not on time and because of that he had to extend his stay for 2-3 days in the ICCU. The service in general ward was terrible. Sisters would not come on time even after reminding them to provide him the medicines, treatment and feed. No proper follow up at all, the attendee need to go and stand at their counter and remind the sister about everything. Some sisters were not properly trained. Since they're charging alot of money even for the stay in general ward, their service should also be up to their reputation. They keep on delaying procedure and extending the stay as well. Would not recommend anyone to get admitted in the general ward again.

One of the Mumbai's Best and Biggest Hospital. Suprahuge infrastructure and all advanced facilities. Many Bollywood celebrities take treatment from here, specially Dilip Kumar. Doctors are very famous and skilled. Staff is also very helpful. The only problem is parking which is not sufficient for all four wheelers and two wheelers. Anaesthesia department is the best department of this Hospital

Never ever go this hospital if you are detected with ILD Or pulmonary fibrosis case. Even though you have probability to survive .. The end result will be death. My father went to this hospital in hope of good treatment but doctor rather than clearing his doubt increased his health issues and even couldn't detect the severity of the case. Just before four days of his emergency admit he visited dr prabhu desai but he couldn't detect his problem much and called after three months for further review. But just after four days he got admitted to hospital as his condition of fibrosis increased. Talking with Dr prabhu desai was not at all good and he should learn talking to patient family. Mine experience was worst and wl suggest if anything serious ILD health issues you face better not go to this hospital and dr prabhu desai. For sure death is the end result and not even all nurses and staff are so good there. Evn when your family member is sure to die they dnt allow families to meet them frequently. Well I lost my father there and experienced worst. I was not happy with Dr prabhu desai (pulmonologist) treatment and his approach towards there patient, family and overall approach. They don't have much skills to treat but have full over confidence that thy are best in this field. Dr prabhu desai was our wrong decision to went for ILD treatment. My father is not with us now and everything done too quick and we lost him too soon.

I had very bad experience regarding the contact number mentioned on the hospital business card. It is always unreachable and disconnected. It's is really tiring and annoying to communicate in case of any appointments or emergency. Truly disappointed by the service of the hospital. It's a my humble request to the management kindly look into it asap. If number is not valid then provide alternative numbers to the patients and visitor.

Absolutely huge hospital with every diagnostic department under the sun available here. Located in Bandra it is one of the best and safest hospitals to goto for treatment and check ups. The Doctors are professional and there are help desks at every corner. Unfortunately there is no visitor parking here. Parking is available only for Doctors and staff of the hospital. Finding parking around the area is also difficult, best to use public transport to reach here as far as possible.

The security staff, ward incharge should be well mannered and they really need to understand the plight of the patients relative. They are very rude and make you feel guilty for every action and step you take. If you are looking out for good hospitality then this is not the right place, you can rely on the doctors.. but the staff is worst.

Visited the hospital for Visa Medical tests. Overall experience was smooth and took approx 3 hours. You can bring someone with you if you need. Overall cost for Canada Visa medical test was 4410 Below is the entire procedure: 1. You straight away go to the second floor visa section and submit your documents(LH registration form which you can download from the website, passport xerox, ITA/admission letter etc, and vaccination certificate (if you're vaccinated)). 2. Then in room no 1, your height, weight and BP will be measured. 3. Then in room no 20, a counsellor will give you a consent form to sign which basically is your consent to let them check HIV in your blood sample. 4. After some time, you'll be asked for document verification and your photo will be clicked. They'll give you a form asking about your medical history. Keep original passport handy. 5. You'll be called to pay the amount. Along with the bill receipt, you'll also get three separate receipts each for blood, urine and x-ray. You can keep the bill receipt with you. 6. Submit the urine and blood receipt in room no 17 and after a short while they'll call you to take your blood sample and will give a cup to deposit your urine. 7. Then on the ground floor, radiology section, counter 38, you'll submit your xray receipt and someone will call out your name to get your chest x-ray. After this you can go back to second floor. 8. In room 22, eye testing will be done. It was super quick. Hardly one minute. 9. After all these Procedures, you'll be called in room no 1. Panel Physician will ask you about your medical history, will check you physically and with this you're done. 10. Just wait for your acknowledgement/ medical information sheet. Verify the details and you can leave. After each step, there was a slight waiting time. Hope it helps to someone who is appearing for the tests. :)

There should be more designated hospitals for Visa purposes. Here the staff is very lethargic and one has to be v alert. They will not bother to guide you. Also documentation work, handover of appropriate documents to the students is not done. Causing a lot of inconvenience to the people who have to ru around after paying hefty sum of money for the various medical tests. Hopeless Dr's are in charge. The cafeteria is money making with hopeless food stuff, taking advantage of people who have come for medical examinations.

Never had a positive experience at the hospital. My dads knee had issue for which they suggested knee replacement. Good thing we consulted a different doctor whose medicines fixed my dad's knee. Wife of my Dad's colleagues kidney could have been saved as it showed very early and very clearly in her reports, her condition is very bad now. My uncle had to be consulted with physcratics, he was treated here for almost a year and he was being given very high power medicine that made him very weak and had started affecting his other organs. We consulted a different doctor and he got treated in 3 months. I would not even give one star. They are just making money. We preferred this hospital because its very reputed but alas.

Doctors are interested in diverting patient to their private clinic. Administrators don't have sense to talk with patient. Toilet are awfully dirty. They are charging like five star and providing service like road side. Doctor not available on time. Even numerologist doesn't care to see the MRI report and check the condition of patient and explain the problem. Never go to this place it's increasing stress in life.

Security whether internal or external should have respect to speak and should know the situation and then talk was dealing with many nurses and they are good but today met with one nurse who was not professional (unprofessional) will get the name and update here. She doesn't know the situation and acts very smartly will put her name in complain and suggestion from. There was x ray dept and there were 2 counters the lady seating in x ray counter next to x ray dept told ask her where is x ray area don't go extra it's not my job type... not professional.

For a simple RT PCR test, you need to go out and get a Xerox of Aadhar because they won't let you use the Xerox machine in the hospital. Then go to gate number 7 and get the invoice done. Back to gate 1 where they will tell you no guarantee for results in 24 hours. RT PCR is all about the urgency. I guess Lilavati missed that part. Zero stars for common sense.

On the date of operation the admission department wanted a COVID report. If you don't have one you are directed to the casualty department which in turn gives you a letter on the basis of which you go to the OPD to pay fees for rapid antigen after which you have to go outside the hospital building for a rapid antigen test... Couldn't they make it more simpler? Especially when they know that the patient & their relatives are already under so much pressure.

Absolutely ridiculous. Staff have no idea what they are saying, answer to everything is we are following rules. During visiting hours you need a pass to visit the patient which is dumb. Then what are visiting hours please explain??? Understandable during normal hours you need a pass to visit the patient. Completely respect that. But during visiting hours as long as people are respecting the hospital rules and regulations they should be allowed to visit. If they do not behave ask them to leave. Hopefully this gives an understanding of how family of the patient feel, coz they are worried as well and during visiting hours they should be allowed to visit their loved ones without stress. Also the staff need to be given an understanding of why they are saying something. Not we are following rules. Not a single staff wearing mask or it is not implemented on visitors to wear mask. But one requires a pass to go visit the family.

Don't visit this Hospital, Staffs attitude are pathetic or I would say it's worse.. Don't expect good service by staffs in billing counter or reception counter.. Or admission counter.. They are too old and lazy as well. Hospital is big and has all facilities but the attitude of staffs are kachadda. This hospital is only for Rich People not for middle class or upper middle class..

Went here for a rapid antigen test. Was told to come back an hour later to collect the report. While I thought it was stupid to not email it (they asked for email address in intake form) I agreed and we (my elderly father and I) went there an hour later. We were made to wait for two hours because the report was ready, but doctor had not signed it. While I am angry at the fact that there is not a single physician in the entire damn hospital to sign the report, it was also stupid to tell people to come collect it in an hour. I work in a healthcare and usually accommodate for delays, but this is grossly unprofessional and disrespectful to your patients time. Please learn to manage your services with regard to resources available and stop over promising! Edit: after waiting, they ultimately emailed it!! How grossly incompetent and dumb!

My mother weighed 100 kg and suffered with Diabetes hypertension, thyroid, and on psychiatric treatment as well with all these problem she also suffered from severe knee joint pain our Orthopedic Dr. Then referred us to Dr.Shashank shah for barbaric surgery suggesting this was the only way out from her problems we consulted Dr. SHAH and decided to get operated to our surprise my mother's recovery was so fast poste operative that she could walk the same day of her surgery she has already lost 6 kg in 5 days . Her sugar levels are also normal. I would indeed suggest Dr. Shashank Shah as one of the best bariatric surgeons. And would also recommend him to any one who wants to undergo bariatric surgery .

I am ca Mahendra agrawala. My wife anju agarwal has been suffering for hernia since last 15 years and lately the swelling on stomach increased. She was not agreeing for surgery at all since long. We all the family members convinced her for operation to which she said that the surgeon has to be the best in India. Through Google and also some reference, i came into contact with dr Shashank Shah who holds limca book of records and was very much impressed after talking to him. The surgery was successfully done on 15-12-2021 at lilawati hospital.During surgery, another hernia was detected which was also cured. My wife is perfectly fine and lost weight. Doctor is highly well behaved and directly approachable with no ego and very supportive. I pray before God for his good health, prosperity and happiness, long life always in his life.

I'd like to begin by expressing my gratitude to nurses Mary Balasingh (Ortho) and Christy (OT) at Lilavati for kindly recommending Dr. Mansi Medhekar to me, who had been an incredible gynae throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely compassionate and gentle, was very polite in clearing doubts providing the right instructions at every follow-up, and was very approachable and available at all times. Never did I have an experience that caused me to hesitate from reaching out to her. I'm ever indebted to her for patiently guiding me through my labor, alongside assisting her junior Dr. Vedika, and helping me deliver my baby boy normally. And now I have recovered and am in good health due to her kind assistance. I am overjoyed to have been under your supervision and to have experienced this journey with you, Dr. Mansi. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a good gynecologist. I'm also grateful to all who attended to my baby's and my needs under her guidance, to all the junior doctors, anesthetists, pediatricians, physiotherapists, lactation specialists, nurses and housekeeping at the hospital during my stay there. They were truly a very humane bunch. I would also like to thank her assistants - Vandana, Aarti, and Sonali who made my follow-up visits possible at the clinic each time. We always went back with more confidence and clarity about things after our visits.

OPD billing department doesn't have any humanity. They only want their bills to be paid, No support from the staff at OPD billing counter. Been over more than 5 years but as compared to other sessions in this hospital the OPD billing counter are not supportive in emergency and doesn't coperate inspite of having medical emergency. Disappointed once again.

Being such a huge hospital and research centre but then also making delays, while they are making the dischargement of the patient and that is very disappointing to the peoples and this is not happening with a single person but with most of the people there and other than this part the whole hospital is working very good and in efficient manner. I would real like to suggest the management of hospital to look more into this because being a VIP or a common man no one wants to stay a single second after listening from the doctor that to discharge the patient. I am deeply disappointed by the poor customer service I received from Lilavati Hospital. Despite its reputation for being a good hospital, my experience over the phone was disheartening. The staff members were rude, inattentive, and repeatedly put me on hold without informing me about the next steps. Such unprofessional behavior has compelled me to seek medical care elsewhere. It is essential for the hospital to address these shortcomings and ensure that every patient is treated with the respect and attention they deserve.

I recently had a surgery at Lilavati and now that I'm back on my feet, first thing I want to write a review about my experience and share it with anyone else who is thinking about getting treated here.I had a surgery for a gynacelogy condition and I must say, the staff was very supportive and caring right from the start. I felt a bit comforted because of their friendly attitude. I took a private room due to my health condition and I was admitted for 5 days. It was a small but comfortable room, maintenance staff did a good job keeping it clean. My surgeon as well as other doctors who did the rounds we're all very helpful. The most important thing is that Lilavati has the latest equipment and facilities, which enabled my surgeon and anaesthetist in giving me the best treatment. If you are getting a complex procedure done, you can rely on a place like Lilavati hospital.

Uses highest MRP drugs and surgical so they can earn max. Uses unnecessary high dose of drugs and surgical. Food and water for patients are very poor quality. Very poor accommodation facilities for attendees. After looking Dialysis machine and some other one can feel like he is in museum. Dialysis machine very old. They can't leave patient easily. DAMA discharge will take one to two days. Radiologist are no expert and equipment are not latest. They charges for Five star hotel but service are of three star. One should think other options. Quality medical care, like much else in India is a labyrinth of connections and calls made. Lilavati was an exception to this and to every disappointing experience you might have had with any kind of healthcare provider in the country. The hospital was top notch - efficient, clean, coordinated but the best part was the human touch to everything. From the liftmen to the nurses to the senior doctors, the warmth and a little smile was the norm. Our expectations were beyond simply being "met". Thank you, team! We hope you keep this ethos alive across the staff for a very long time to come and continue to be a safe and humane hospital.

Staff at the counters were helpful. But I thought the passageways in the building were narrow when compared to other newer hospitals. Of course, they were managing movement of patients on stretchers, so no problem as such. Our experience in the hospital was with Dr. Samir Parekh, an gastroenterologist. I had continuous hiccups and it was not just stopping. He showed me a trick to stop the hiccups instantly. It worked. Thereafter, to find out root cause of the hiccups, he did endoscopy and found out I had bacterial infection in the duodenum. He gave me a 2-weeks course of meds and now I am completely out of it. I had a good experience overall.

Went to see the Endocrinologist at Lilavati on a Saturday. One advice - Saturday's is literaly a fish market. The opd billing counters are slow and understaffed. Waited for almost 2 hours to see the doctor who had 3 junior doctors examining me and I was out in less than 10 min. Its like you pay the consultation charges to be examined by students and the doctor just has 2 or 3 words to say to you. Not worth the wait or the amount you pay.

On 1/7/23 7 pm I was taken to the ER fours after arriving in Mumbai from Australia with food poisoning caused by meals consumed in the Malaysian Airlines flight. After another 4hours wait in ER treated with injections plus a sonography the resident Medical Doctor Amanika decided to admit me immediately. Her smile together with a calm pleasant soft spoken manner immediately took away all my apprehensions. I was alone in a new country with no family etc She assured me I’ll be ok and she’ll put me on to the best specialist etc. I was put on immediate IV fluids and Antibiotics overnight. Following morning I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Samir Parikh who with the first few words spoken I knew I was in safe hands. 6 days of treatment combined with Compassion, Care, Daily visits by Drs Parikh & Amanika plus Friendly Nursing Staff and a very high level of hygiene and cleaning standards plus food ensured I was back safely in my hotel room on the mend. A very genuine Thank You to the Drs and the nursing team on level 7 (too many names to add individually) and Nursing supervisor Louella for taking such great care of me. My family back home in Melbourne is deeply grateful for keeping their dad safe. May god bless you all. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏 I wanted to visit you all with a cake and flowers to show my appreciation but was told No! Hospital Rules. 🥲

The hospital has good doctors but the hospital is still functioning in the 19 th century if you do any scans you have to go and fetch your reports you have to call up different departments and plead with them for your own reports to be mailed to you still no guarantee whether they will do it as it is a hospital protocol they don’t mail.

The Cardiology Department urgently needs additional equipment. Booking an appointment requires lengthy calls to the operator, often lasting a minimum of 20 minutes. Upon arrival, patients face an extra hour of waiting, even if they arrive well in advance of their scheduled appointment. This repeated problem, occurring for the third time, compels me to voice my dissatisfaction with the service. It's disheartening to see patients facing these challenges despite paying a substantial amount for their treatment.

I had a premium health check up. Appointment process and communication was excellent and I was informed of the process and procedure before I attended. The check up included an overnight stay and I was provided with a beautiful room with my own privacy. I was also given a personal care representative, Aishwarya, who was fantastic and ensured the tests were all done without any problems. The tests undertaken were extensive. The doctors were all polite and ensured all my questions and queries were answered and gave me feedback on various things that would improve my health. Overall I had an excellent experience.

Was admitted for a MRI scan and lumbar puncture some time ago. Spent 6 hours in hospital ward with random drip on hand, painkillers when no condition was present, no sign of doctor until evening, no MRI even 6 hours after admissions. Picking from another review: extremely unorganized and chaotic hospital. No communication, nothing is digitized, no coordination amongst the staff here. Appointments are of no use, as nothing is followed. The staff is not at all concerned. The customer service is awful. No one takes ownership and responsibility. It’s actually scary to see that this is how the attitude is in a hospital which is where people should feel helped and safe and attended to. It’s really not worth wasting so much time. From basic staff to reception to technicians and even doctors. Just overall such a bad experience. Plus, OPD staff NEVER picks up the phone. How am I supposed to schedule an appointment with a doctor!

It is one of the well known hospitals with a decent doctors. However, there is absolutely no parking in the entire area which is a very big weak point. It means that if in case of emergency you want to rush someone in a car there is no facility for parking. For this reason I have given this hospital 2 stars less
