Disastrous Experience for Curly Hair - Avoid at All Costs! I recently visited Ashraf's Salon with high hopes of finally finding a stylist who could expertly handle and cut my curly hair. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be a complete nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon anyone else. Firstly, it was evident from the get-go that my stylist had minimal to no experience with curly hair. As someone with curls, I understand that working with this hair type requires specialized knowledge and techniques, but it was clear that my stylist was out of their depth. The result? A haircut that left my hair looking uneven and misproportioned. It's frustrating to pay for a service that leaves you feeling worse than when you walked in. To make matters worse, the stylist's lack of expertise extended to the drying process. Rather than using a diffuser - a basic tool for managing curly hair - he proceeded to dry my hair without any attachment. The result was nothing short of disastrous. My once-lovely curls were transformed into a frizzy mess that I couldn't recognize. It's baffling that a professional would disregard such a fundamental aspect of curly hair care. When I suggested using a diffuser, the stylist reluctantly attempted to use it, but it was painfully obvious that he had no clue how to operate it. He even admitted that it was his first time using a diffuser. As a customer, I expect a certain level of competence and familiarity with the tools of the trade. It's beyond disappointing to have to guide a stylist on the basics of their job. My overall experience at Ashraf's Salon was nothing short of a disaster. The lack of expertise, the improper haircut, and the utter confusion during the drying process left me deeply unsatisfied. I urge anyone with curly hair to steer clear of this salon unless you want to leave with a botched haircut and a mountain of regret. In summary, my visit to Ashraf's Salon was a reminder of the importance of researching salons thoroughly before entrusting them with your hair. This establishment clearly lacks the necessary skills and knowledge to handle curly hair, and it's my hope that by sharing my experience, I can spare others from a similar ordeal.

Awesome service at great price point! I took keratin treatment service, which was done very well by the staff. Situated in Galleria mall, its easily spottable. Clean interiors, well trained staff. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my experience at Ashraf's Salon Powai. Hairdresser Islam and the team did an amazing job with my hair and my hair feels and looks so much better! Also the staff is friendly and accomadating I cannot wait to come back again. Worth every penny!

Guys i had visited this salon for haircut .They spoiled my haircut . If your hairdressers can't do a hair cut why can't they say it prior instead of wasting time money and energy of customers.Well the statement of manager was extremely surprising and rude .He himself agreed to fact that only he can do certain haircut. Well this not only shows his ego but also arrogance . Sir I guess it would be good if you would invest your energy in training your staff & keep your ego aside . I have been here for my global and highlights. It was amazing the staffs are professional and very tidy with their work. As i have shown them the look it turned out to be much more better. Definitely gonna visit next time.

I came to Mumbai for a short period but I wanted a good haircut for me and my daughter and I preferred this place from google , I loved the experience, the haircut was amazing done by a stylist whose name I ain’t sure . Overall very good would definitely go back if I come to Mumbai again

It's not really a good salon and the workers aren't that experienced. I went in to get a global hair colour, the colour that they promised me on my hair was nothing as compared to the end result. Other salons offer a hair wash before applying colour, they also offer to apply colour to only a strand of hair to give you a gist of how it'll actually look but Ashraf's at Powai doesn't offer any of these services. My hair has become rough after having coloured it through them as they use poor quality products and they've coloured my hair in an extremely uneven way. I Do not recommend it at all. Find other good salons in Powai as there are multiple options available.

I have waited 3 weeks to write this review in the hope that maybe my hair will be fine. Visiting this salon was the worst decision. I went for keratin treatment with a proper appointment and they mistakenly did kerasmoothing that too they realised when I told them multiple times that I want keratin and not straight hair. And it was just not me, while my 2 visits I had seen 4 ladies complaining about either hair fall, wrong hair color and what not. In place of natural and healthy hairs now I have pin pointed and artificial looking lifeless hairs which will never be again until I cut them. Never visit this place if you love your hair.

I have been getting my hair treatment done from last many times and comes back with good results always. Really appreciate the knowledge and work of Ashraf bhai. I am always confident while going there. Thanks a lot 😊

My first ever smoothning & keratine which was done very nicely after that my second service done recently butox as well as the hair cut done by Ashraf's himself . The salon staff is excellent at their job. It was really awesome experience I had there. Definitely I would recomend the salon for new look. Location is very good and quick service.Thank you for giving me new look & frizz free beautiful hair.

Five stars only for the hair dresser irshaan. He was the only one who was working rest all were just resting and simply doing nothing. I request the owner to take strict action such snobs. Very happy with the hair cut. Service is down though. Employees were just sitting and chatting and cared least about the walkin clients

The service by shoaib was amazinggg!!! 5 stars to him.. But just because of the lady *PAYAL* who was sitting on the reception was pathetic. Doesn't know how to speak to the customers or even to staff..the lady was so rude had so much of attitude we were just confirming the pricing she just raised her voice and said "itna hi hota hai" and started arguing she was acting as if she was doing some favour on us .. she was least interested in customers. I have been visiting Ashraf from last 3 years for keratin and also suggested my friends and family members .. this time just because of the reception lady I won't suggest and will recommend evryone not to visit this salon .. why will someone go in a salon like this, pay for services and spoilt your mood ... you need to understand that this is service industry and if you behave like this and keep a person like this on reception your customers will stop coming.

Ashraf salon is my new favorite. The manager and staff is friendly ,warm,And cooperativ . They greet me with happy faces all the time . I am a regular customer of Ashraf's salon and needless to mention that am very satisfied with the services provided by them. All my hair services are done by Rizwan and till date no complains. Even my three years old daughter loves to visit the salon for her haircut and hairwash and obviously for the pampering she receives from all the staffs specially by Payal. One more reason to visit is that you get great deals which other salons of that area rarely gives.

Two months back i went to get keratin done but they said Botox will last longer for 6 months than keratin which would last for 2 months. After one month of wash, the effect has gone and my hair has returned back to being worse. Not trustworthy.

The staff, however well intentioned and misinformed of common courtesy- repeatedly kept pointing out how my underarms needed a wax, my arms needed a wax, my eyebrows needed threading. And I had gone there to get my nails done! Just because you want a customer to take more services, doesn't mean you point out each and every flaw. Everyone has a mirror, they can see when they need a wax- there's no need to shame anyone for profitability. Got my nails done and if you want any kind of nail art, this is not the place.

I have been a regular at the salon for a few years now and have a great experience each time I visit, whatever the service. Recently, I got a hydra facial done and the results were instantly visible. A big shout out to Rizwan, my go to hairsylist, who alwayss does a great job, and Priyanka, who takes care of my facial and other services. This was my first time visit to Ashraf's salon and it was a great experience. After analysis of my hair I went for kera smoothening treatment and I was so happy on the outcome!! Josh, Rizwan and one more guy did an amazing job! They stayed post their working hours and did not rush off just to complete the task! I love this salon Very clean, many variety of colors/spa treatments. I walked in and was greeted right away. I got a mani and pedi. My nail tech did my nails amazing. She took her time and treated me very well, told me what she recommended and the outcome was perfect. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

I am very happy with the treatment and hospitality. I colored my hair for the first time and I'm glad I choose them to do it. Mr. Rizwan was very very kind and helpful person. He suggested me a suitable hair cut as well as color and I'm so so happy with the end result.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience. They work with high quality products ; shampoo / conditioner so had a very relaxing "hair wash". My "highlights " was just fantastic The staff at the parlour were sweet and considerate. Ashraf Sloan is every time help full to hair treatment. Staff is also good for the talking and service aslo nice every tym I refer to ashraf solan. All staff are very good and help full but the my hair treatment doing amir he is given to good service. My service is hair smoothing & hair keratin and specially for highlight. I love the hair color.
