    • S O A M • Value for money 💰 ✓ Worth your visit 100% ✓ Presentation & Plating ✓ Maintained hygiene ✓ Parking ✓ ( on the road ) Quality of food ✓ Nourishment guaranteed ✓ Attentive staff ✓ I am grateful to the universe for giving me this opportunity last evening to visit this epic, one of its kind restaurant at Mumbai Central. This restaurant with approximately 12 tables rules the roost at the Babulnath area. The main tourist attractions near to this hotel is the gorgeous Iskcon temple which simply adds to the beauty of your visit post your meals at this place. What we ordered : Ponk Ni Bhel - 270rs - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely worth as a winter super food. Tasty and crunchy. Poori Bhaji Srikhand - 300rs - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Puris were not oily at all and the shrikhand was balanced perfectly in sweetness. The potato 🥔 sabji was subtle and retained original flavour. Faral platter - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - It included the following : Two karanji - With unique filling Two samosa - With paneer and vegie filling Methi Vadi - 4 pieces Kothimbir Vadi - Supremely soft and flavourful Update ! This time we tried the below dishes : Dal Batti Churma - Perfect in taste and quality Meethi theepla and pitla - Amazing 🤩 Bajra Meethi Guava Tostadas - Unique dish , worth a try ! Check pictures 👇 Hands down , the BEST of the BEST ! PRO Tip BRO : Make sure to book your table in advance while visiting with large group.

Super tasty Gujarati food. We really relished our taste buds. The waiting crowd itself suggested the popularity of the place.

Awesome experience at this food joint. Taste, and service is what one should experience it, rather than talk about it. Seating is limited it's the only drawback one can see large crowds seated outside rather than seated inside and the wait is worth it. One does tend to eat everything and still don't get the feeling of stuffed. No wonder they get selected for the awards year around.Amazing Gujarati food!!!

Place location bang opposite to Babulnath temple. Food is different from routine stuffs, you can find variety like Panaki, ponk bhaji, ponk bhel, (ponk is seasonal in winter), undhiyo, khichu, etc.. these are uncommon varities of gujju food which are available at very few places The taste was really good. Place is always busy because of chowpaty location. Parking is a problem in a nearby place near Wilson college you can try for pay and Park.

Gujarati / Maharashtrian / Rajasthani cuisine veg AC restaurant bang opp. Babulnath temple. Valet parking is available. Palak cheese samosa was really tasty. Farsaan platter includes it along with other things and is a must try. Soup qty was quite less , you might not want to make it 1 by 2. Jowar pita pockets are basically falafel like stuffing inside a jowar bhaakri but didnt find it that great. Paanki is not the regular maharashtrian "paangi" and not that great too. Overall Good experience but not Great...

Soam , located near Babulnath temple , Chowpatty . Mumbai It’s a Gujrati restaurant. The food is absolutely fabulous’ . The quality of the food is awesome. The price is definitely steep but that’s the price you pay for good food and taste . Quality and quantity both are great ! Totally recommend trying out the jowar pita pockets. It was the best I’ve ever eaten . We also tried the Debra and the Lal batata nu shak with methi theplas. Do give this place a try ! Ambiance is simple and peaceful. Can’t wait to go back to try some more .

The menu was an absolute delight, offering a wide range of delectable dishes that catered to various tastes. I opted for the chef's special, and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and the attention to detail in every dish was evident. The ingredients used were fresh and high-quality, and it truly reflected in the taste of the food. The combination of traditional flavors with a modern twist was executed perfectly. And the dessert? A sweet masterpiece that left me craving for more.

A small place which gets overcrowded. And the reason it gets overcrowded, is because the food is so delicious. It serves authentic Gujarati vegetarian food. Ambience is ok. Service is good and quick. The place is clean. But the tables are placed too close to each other. You cannot expect to fine-dine. Prices however are a little on the higher side, but it's worth the taste. Parking is also a problem. It's best to reach this place by auto or taxi.

Wanted to visit this place for a long time. Finally decided to go and try the vegetarian platter it was yummy and definitely a must have. The cheese pav Bhaji and pani puri was nice in taste and quantity. Tried the malpua was a bit too sweet for me. But overall very good place for vegetarians and definitely a must visit. The service was damn quick as well.

it is basically Gujarati restaurant serving couple of local and south indian dishes. The Gujarati dishes what we ordered were having taste. The restaurant is also neat and clean and it is on the main road right opposite to Babulnath temple.

We are regulars here and we had a fine dining experience, this afternoon. We ordered different dishes, so that we could savour them all. And each dish was outstanding. Being foodies, my family is well versed with food flavours and textures. Sunil who served us, was very courteous. Soam is the place to be, where you can relish your meal. The new snack store they have opened, also has a good fare.

I cannot recall a time where I've awarded 5 stars to a food establishment. Perhaps it's my bias for Gujarati food, or perhaps Soam is that good! Love the portion sizes, general quality and fantastic choice.. going to go back every time I visit Mumbai!

Every time I pass around there at meals time I can’t avoid stoping by, despite the usual queue. Extremely good vegetarian food, nicely cooked and very fast service. One of my favorite places in Bombay.

Wanted to visit this place for a long time. Finally made it. Ordered Panki, Handvo, Matar Pattice, Dal Dhokli, Gatte ki Sabji and Satpadi Roti, Vagharlela Khichdi and Mohanthal. The panki was absolutely delicious, 3 thin pieces in one portion. Handvo was a bit dry, but tasty. Khichdi was very homely, but nothing spectacular. All the other dishes were nice, what they should be like. Worth visiting once, if in the mood for authentic, home-style Gujarati. The air conditioning seemed off, and something that needs addressing since it felt stuffy.

This place was on my ‘must go’ list since like a year and I recently had the pleasure of dining here.. This place is located opposite the Babulnath Temple. The restaurant’s location, big glass walls, provided a serene and spiritual backdrop for our meal. It featured a wide range of dishes, including classics like Mutter ni puri & Bhaji, Paanki, thepla, Dal Dhokli etc. The food was a perfect representation of the rich and diverse Gujarati culinary heritage. We tried Khichu, Jowar Pita Pocket and Aloo Paratha Thali.. Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value for Money: 5/5

Excellent traditional food. Good service. The place also is well lit with large glass panes on the road side. We went at about 4 in the evening and got a seat quite easily. Don't forget to keep room for dessert!! 😄

Being a gujrati, I'd heard alot of good things about soam so I wanted to go here and check all the buzz. Situated exactly opposite of babul nath temple, there was a waiting for 15-20 mins during the lunch time. About the food, quantity of the food is for one person and the menu is way too limited then you can imagine. Thats the only thing which I didn't like but the food was yummy and delicious. I'd give 5/10 rating

I visited this place for my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a lot of things off the menu - Classic Soam Paank was a delight. We also had Guava Panha, Moongdal Khichu, Dal Dhokli and Vaghareli Khichdi. It was soul food.

I love non veg compare to vegetarian food but after eating here I really want to come again & try other dishes which I've not tried this time. You really have to stand in a queue to enter this place .. it's not a very big restaurant but the atmosphere & ambience is good. I just relished the food they served .. simply outstanding. Service is little slow otherwise it's outstanding.

Good place for Gujarati delicacies, the taste is really good, however the portion size is quite less. Usually waiting of around 30 minutes on the weekends, they provide valet parking.

Authentic Gujarati Menu offering mouthwatering food combinations & seasonal varieties like Undhiyu Puri, ponkh,Aam ras,Pooranpoli.Little conjusted sitting arrangement, also you may have to wait during peak lunch/dinner hours however the tastefulness of the food makes it all worth. Dont forget to order the Mini jalebi's to relish.
