This is an old hotel in vile Parle. People still visit this place from 12-15kms away for weekend south indian savouries. The entrance is very confusing I had to cross the floor of hotel rooms to reach the restaurant. Apparantly they had one more way to reach this restaurant. Nevertheless I hovered over the menu to realise I should start with ghee sada dosa ( butter sada dosa was also an option). Then I ordered Mysore masala dosa. If you want to see a huge monument like structure on your plate order paper dosa. Mosambi juice helped me to quench my thirst. Overall experience was great!

Excellent and unpretentious stop for quality food right opposite Vile Parle station. I have yet to try anything outside their South Indian menu, for the reason that it’s so good. Have been coming here for the last three decades without any change in taste, which is remarkable. The vada is especially fluffy yet crisp. The service is prompt, prices reasonable and COVID precautions are satisfactory.

Great food quality. Service could be much better but i felt it's okay. Not much expensive. Clean tables and floors. All kinds of cuisines served here. Good for both veg and non-veg eaters. Jain food is also served at this restaurant. Overall good average hotel.

It's a really good restaurant to have veg food. Their are specialty is fast food snacks. They have over it of dosa idli and chat options. Located on the vile Parle station Road so it is easily accessible the only drawback is that there is no parking. The staff is really good and the service very fast. Food is excellent and the quantity is worth the amount that you pay. All the items are very reasonably priced. The filter coffee is a must have at this place.

Great selection of food, paper masala dosa was so delicious paired with the coriander chutney and sambar. Upstairs with the air conditioning is the perfect place to cool off and enjoy some fantastic food.

I wanted to visit this place situated right in front of Vile Parle station for a many time now. However my start to the dining experience here was not that good as the Munchau soup did not taste that good and I was left disappointed. I again was not happy when I saw there are no Tandoori starters on the menu. However things changed when I ordered for the starters and they were just amazing, something I had never tasted before. Be called for Aloo Paratha, Panipuri, Paneer chilli, veg crispy, Paneer Hakka And all of them tasted just amazing. The mains were even better in the form of Paneer Musallam and Veg Kadai. For the rice section, I ordered the veg bought rice and it was just out of the world. My overall experience at this place was amazing apart from the soup taste. However I would like to go here again and taste other options available in Jain as well. Would surely recommend this place for families and friends on a get together and looking out for some good food and better taste experience.

Its bang opposite to the Vile Parle railway station. Its my go to place for food. Its decent and an affordable place for anyone who likes South Indian food. I have tried a lot of dishes at this place but a few that I really like are the Dosa's, Uttapa's, Pav Bhaji, Filter Coffee and surprisingly even their Veg Kofta. They have a normal setup below and an AC lounge on the first floor. The staff is friendly and the orders are served quickly. A must must visit!

For us this place is not a hotel. It is a memory refresher...over the years as we have grown up, certain things don't change...the idli wada upma sheera masala dosa filter coffee...and the Punjabi menu too

Authentic fast service and Mumbai street food tastes for which you don't have to stand on the street. Many other cuisine are also available like Chinese, Punjabi, Sounth Indian, pizza, sandwich and burgers.

Food and service is note worthy! The taps wash basins in the ground floor (non Ac section) are not functioning properly. Not advisable to use them...

Every morning, commuters crossing the suburb of Vile Parle will dedicate their precious ten minutes for a typical energy - packed traditional Western and South Indian breakfast with tea/coffee and then rush off to their destination. A quintessential, time - less, well - oiled essential machinery that fills the stomach and hearts from morning to evening. One may have their first eating out experience over here and take their grand - children for their first eating experience, too. There will always be that trill of the bell announcing a new order and a fresh, warm, fluffy idli to comfort you.

The place is clean, people come sober and the food is quite local wich is a good thing about it. Serving is also fast, don't have to wait for much long. Prices are bearable. So overall restaurant quality is good.

The food is good ....not very good/excellent or bad ...but the main problem is that they pressure to give tips even if told no they ask the other person to give and when we say that why you asking everyone as one person gave collective answer the waiter will say it's mandatory to give and everyone gives and so should you.... The good comments down you read mostly are written by their own people so don't have. High trust on it

Though the place was packed we thought the service would be bit slow. We were quite pleasantly surprised with the service and the attitude of the attendants. It was very quick. Also their quantity too was real great.

This is one of the best restaurants near Andheri and vile Parle. The restaurant is very old and the taste is excellent their specialty is South Indian food and snaks like pav bhaji and chat. But the best dishes are South Indian. The biggest problem is their parking. I would suggest one to go via rail or rickshaw.

Very old restaurant running sucesfully since quite sometime, however they have managed to upgrade themselves from time to time and kept themselves in race with the oncoming new challenges. Have maintained their food quality and service efficiency over the period of time. I personally found their pricing to be a little on higher side but then with services offered and their location it's kind of justified. Can expect oneself to have a hearty meal and be out within 30 minutes. Giving one star less because of parking problem. Initially when they must started, vehicle ownership was a privilege and roads were not that congested but in today's scenario it does become a draw back. If possible management should consider making alternates.

Good food, chaotic place. Food is good, but place is chaotic, always filled to the brim with people, noise is disturbing. Waiters and staff are good, but lack hygiene, and may spill something on your nice clothes in a hurry. Prices are reasonable, and the place is great for all meals, if one can withstand chaos.

The staff is super accommodative. My flight was rescheduled for 6 hrs and was carrying 5 bags of luggage. Despite the crowd the owner accommodated all my luggage within the restaurant without any hesitation. Super fast service. Authentic southIndian taste.

Situated on the corner of the street, Rama Krishna is a small pure vegetarian restaurant with a comfortable seating. I had ordered a Paneer Makhanwala, butter rotis and a vegetable biryani. I was pleased to see the food in front of me almost as soon as I had ordered it. The service was prompt and the staff was attentive. I had requested them to make the Paneer Makhanwala less spicy and it was quite tasty. On the other hand, vegetable biryani was extremely spicy but delicious neverthless. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a pure vegetarian restaurant with a wide array of dishes and quick service at pocket friendly rates.

Basic restaurant with good and tasty vegetarian food. This restaurant is quite old and offers great dishes with superb service. Quantity of food is also adequate Parking can be an issue at times, better to come via rickshaw/cab.

We had mysore masala dosa, pav bhaji, chilly potato and pista milkshake. Everything was very tasty and worth every penny. Sambhar was a bit sweet, depends on your taste if you would like it, but dosa was nice. Service and staff is also good.

Recently when I Visited in afternoon time , I was not that satisfied as they serve warm water in A/c department of the Hotel. Air conditioner too was not working properly . Typical South Indian food is served here along with continental dishes. The space between seat and table is very less. Uncomfortable to sit. Food quality is good. Place like clean. Service is fast. Only one toilet on first floor. So you have to climb one flight to use it.

My family & friend's, like your restaurent service very polite & lovingly . Your Sambar & Filter Coffee is ultimate, like, after having reached to heaven. After lockdown today i Take3/4 items parcel. With sambar, but i am disappointed. About test, there is no Drum Stick no Red pumpkin & not previous test. Sorry please look after. Your loving Cusomer.

Rama Krishna Restaurant has excellent Udupi-style cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and the service is prompt and courteous. They have also expanded into what can only be called hybrid north Indian cuisine, but I usually avoid it and stick to the south Indian fare.

The place is good, clean with quick staff response. It is a family restaurant. It also has ac room. It has wide variety of snacks. It has no chinese dishes so if u love fried rice or noodles then this place is not for u. It also has option for Jain food and the food is not that spicy if u love spicy food. The menu is more concentrated towards Gujarati appetite. Overall my rating for food is 3 out of 5 coz I love spicy. Rest it is a good place for family.

Very poor experience it's not upto that mark what it used to be. I had onion/tomato uttapam , the smabhar was too bad in taste + it was very thick & tasted sweet the batter for uttapam was stinking & was not well prepared. Once this joint was considered as excellent ? for authentic food. SORRY.

impressive cleanliness and super quick service looking at the traffic they manage. super yum south indian snacks like dosa, idli, uttapam, upma and vada you also get mix of it. fresh fruit juices, fruit shakes, sheera everything you get here. they can make your day better. once i had issue with my juice they were happy to replace it and offered me another still i had issue and they were like sir, will you like refund or replacement, i was happy to replace that with fresh mug of juice. such service you find it in mumbai only.
