I took my dad to Doctor Eye Institute for a consultation for cataract at the recommendation of a relative who had several family members get their eye related procedures done by Dr Kumar. This would serve as a second opinion after we had a consultation and check-up done at a clinic closer to our home. I have to say I'm glad we did because at Doctor Eye Institute they ran several more tests to account for my dad's diabetes and blood pressure conditions and to rule out any complications. Thankfully, there were none and we went ahead with laser assisted cataract surgery for both of my dad's eyes. The procedures for the two eyes were done a month apart by Dr Kumar himself. Dr Shivani also played a role and both doctors were very professional and thorough with pre and post surgery check-ups apart from the main procedures themselves both of which went very smoothly for my dad. We also got to watch both surgeries live on a screen in the waiting area. The staff are very polite and helpful. They are also efficient in processing the many patients they get daily. We were even offered free eye tests for 2 family members after every procedure done for my dad which we did avail. The staff conduct these tests and document them meticulously in your patient file. Speaking of facilities, the waiting area/lobby is spacious and air-conditioned and there is a coffee/tea machine which we can freely use. They also have a small pantry and can make sugar-free tea at your request. They have well-maintained male and female toilets. Parking was a concern for me prior to my first visit because I couldn't find any recent review commenting on the same. I'm happy to report that the Landmark building in which the institute is present does have a common basement parking for all shops and offices of the building. I have added some photos of the same. Even though it's just one floor of parking for the whole building I never had trouble finding a free spot regardless of the time we visited. Overall we are quite satisfied with the outcome of my dad's cataract surgeries and are happy with the services of the doctors and staff. I would heartily recommend Doctor Eye Institute to anyone!

Excellent clinic to take care of your eyes. This clinic has years of great reputation and Dr Kumar Doctor is a great doctor. I did my Lasik operation here. They provided me with all the details such as pre and post operation care I need to take as well as prescribed best drops. All the staff is very professional and carried out my pre operation tests. The technology and machines they have at their institute are all latest. Dr. Kumar operated me and he was very patient and friendly, we had a great talk during the operation. He makes sure you're comfortable before the operation starts. The entire op went extremely smooth, no pain, no irritation or any other issue after operation. My follow up doctor was Dr. Shivani Pattnaik, she is a very brilliant doctor and made sure to monitor my progress on every follow-up meet. Overall it was a great experience. My entire family visits this clinic for any eye problem.

First of all, I thank the entire team for taking amazing care of my parents. This was our second time at the clinic. Earlier my dad got his cataract surgery done from here. This time it was my mother. The consistent quality and care of this clinic are a hallmark of theirs. Taking care of patients in general and specifically senior citizens is probably in the DNA of the entire team. My mother also observed that language was not much of a barrier as they have individuals who can converse well in Marathi, Gujrati, Hindi and English. Other languages also probably :). Recently visited here as my mother was diagnosed with a genetic corneal condition and I was told to get screened for the same as well. They have the most up to date equipment and the specular microscopy examination that I had been advised was done immediately with the results and consultation all done within 30 minutes. Dr. Shivani was especially helpful, she answered all my questions and clarified every doubt I had regarding treatment, follow ups and further management. I went there as a very anxious patient but Dr. Shivani and her entire team put me at ease. They advised me about further treatment without pressurising me with deadlines like 'this has to be done within 1-2 weeks' etc. and even gave me a schedule for regular follow ups along with emergency contact numbers. I had my Lasik surgery done almost 5 months ago with Dr. Kumar. Dr.Kumar and his team really helped me through the process. The clinic is very well maintained, clean and they use the latest technology.
