On
arrival
to
the
main
location
of
the
meeting
point
I
arrived
exactly
on
time.
I
was
not
greeted
by
our
tour
guide
straight
away
so
we
headed
in
to
the
coffee
shop.
I
was
then
approached
by
a
very
young
guy
asking
my
name.
His
name
was
Sam.
After
arriving
on
time
and
given
my
name
we
were
hoping
to
leave
straight
away,
but
we
were
delayed
by
two
other
tourists
who
were
also
waiting
to
be
shown
the
slums.
These
tourists
then
went
in
to
the
coffee
shop
to
get
drinks.
I
didnât
understand
what
the
hold
up
was
as
we
ordered
a
private
tour
not
a
tour
group
yet
we
were
getting
delayed
by
two
other
people.
After
an
inconsiderate
amount
of
time
the
other
two
tourists
came
out
of
the
coffee
shop
then......
we
were
âall
ready
to
goâ.
Afterwards
I
expressed
my
disappointment
and
it
was
really
not
a
good
start
to
the
tour.
I
asked
why
we
were
left
waiting
for
two
other
people
who
were
on
a
total
different
tour
then
us.
We
didnât
leave
the
coffee
shop
location
till
3.25PM.
After
a
few
moments
we
cleared
the
air
and
was
reassured
that
our
tour
was
private
that
the
other
tour
guide
just
did
not
know
the
new
route
in
to
the
Slums.
I
appreciated
Sam
explaining
this
to
us.
The
tour
was
good,
it
was
great
to
have
a
real
insight
in
to
everything
they
did
here.
These
people
work
hard
and
it
shows
and
are
really
proud
of
the
work
they
do
and
so
they
should.
We
seen
bags,
belts,
wallets
all
magnificently
made
to
perfection.
And
when
I
done
research
on
these
products
high
manufacturers
and
companyâs
across
the
world
buy
these
products
from
the
slums
and
sell
them
at
a
really
astronomical
prices
were
in
Dharavi
they
get
just
enough
to
get
them
by.
Iâve
seen
kids
here
with
no
shoes,
iPhones,
iPads
or
toys
literally
just
playing
with
gravel
stones
and
theyâre
the
happiest
kids
Iâve
seen
in
my
entire
life.
People
always
perceive
the
people
living
in
the
slums
to
have
ânothingâ
yet
their
the
happiest
of
people,
so
to
me
theyâve
everything.
From
all
my
traveling
around
India
I
felt
extremely
safe
here
in
the
slums.
Parts
of
India
youâll
feel
alien
really,
youâll
get
the
odd
stares
here
and
there
but
at
the
slums,
nothing.
Going
in
to
some
factories
the
men
working
were
happy
to
show
you
what
they
were
working
on.
Was
really
great
to
see.
We
were
shown
a
local
shop
selling
handbags
/
wallets
/
belts
we
didnât
really
stay
here
long
because
the
other
tour
group
was
always
3
minutes
away
from
us
so
when
they
came
in
to
the
shop
we
then
went
off.
But
if
you
can
purchase
items
online
from
this
shop
I
would
love
to
be
forwarded
the
online
shop
/
store
or
were
I
could
buy
the
exact
products
as
they
were
fantastic.
Suggestions
:
If
more
then
one
private
tour
has
placed
a
booking
all
tours
should
be
half
hour
from
one
another.
If
a
private
tour
is
at
1PM
another
private
tour
should
be
at
1.30PM
this
saves
time
wasting.
And
trailing
behind
another
group
of
people.
Also
at
the
end
of
the
tour
we
got
shown
the
main
office
(a
little
slum
house
which
was
great
to
see
inside)
and
got
asked
could
we
write
a
TA
review
straight
away.
I
do
feel
people
need
time
to
process
their
feelings
before
rushing
a
review
and
youâll
never
get
their
full
feelings
if
theyâre
been
asked
on
the
spot.
So
maybe
for
the
future
tours
to
possibly
scrap
this.
Maybe
given
people
business
cards
at
the
end
to
remind
them
the
exact
tour
operator
would
be
a
better
option.
Besides
the
misunderstanding
at
the
start
of
the
tour.
It
was
good
to
see,
I
reckon
it
would
be
safe
to
enter
the
slums
alone
also.
Unfortunately
Iâm
given
this
tour
average
as
we
did
purchase
a
3
hour
tour
but
the
time
we
got
in
our
taxi
was
5.00PM
and
therefore
the
tour
only
lasted
approximately
1.hr.30.
Sam
our
guide
did
wait
around
till
we
got
an
Uber
and
even
let
us
use
his
WiFi
so
this
was
great
help
getting
home
without
any
hassle
or
stress.
