First time went to DAG for display of Various Artists including Jamini Roy for a theme called Tantra via Art Fervour 2022. Loved the sophisticated display, art director was missing hence the space felt a little lonely. However, I ended up reading a book for an hour about various artists which was very informative. DAG hosts most innovative artists showcased from India and around the world, hence felt like checking it every month for new shows!

Beautifully set up paintings and sculptures with information about the artists and how they contribute towards a particular or/and overall art movement in India. There are also books which give information on the different stages of Indian art both old and contemporary.

DAG is a lovely art gallery in the middle of the Kala Ghoda art district in South Mumbai. It is a nice place to have exhibitions and the place has multiple levels to display artworks. Only drawback is it is not accessible to disabled persons on the upper levels unless one uses the stairs as there is no elevator available.
