Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 We were very pleased with our meal! The 4 of us shared several plates and were blown away! Drinks - the board room drink is a mild jalapeño margarita and was very good, not too spicy! The smoked old fashioned was perfect! I’d get it again any day! The charcuterie was a great way to start the meal! The braised short rib was a collective favorite, along with the scallops over couscous. The lollipop chicken wings were also incredible. The Korean steak tacos were very crispy and tasty. The ahi tuna was very fresh and well prepared. For dessert, the butter torte was incredible and the strawberry shortcake was good but my lesser favorite. Our servers were very attentive, waters were filled and we felt taken care of! We brought our baby and they accommodated, sat us in the side room. We definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, my favorite being the firecracker shrimp. The dishes are nice to share between 2 people, and try multiple things. The service was above and beyond, it is so rare to see great service like this. I did not like the crème brulee, but it could just be a personal preference -the texture was a bit grainy. I will be coming back here for sure.

Some friends and I went to The Board Room to celebrate several ladies birthdays and was impressed with the good service and good food. We ordered several apps, dinner & dessert (a few pictured below). Our favorites were the Scallops n’ couscous, short rib and fire cracker shrimp. Least favorite was the creme brûlée and I am a creme brûlée lover. It wasn’t flavorful though the size was great for a creme brûlée. The ambience and atmosphere was inviting, comfy and cozy where we were seated. The service was good and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Would like to shout out both Nick and Jennifer for how nice, professional and helpful you were. I highly recommend you make a reservation. Kudos for only being open for a year and things are well run.

I LOVED the ambience and modern decor. It is perfect for a “shared plate experience” with friends or significant other. We were not super hungry so we ordered the Korean bbq tacos and the coconut shrimp bao buns (this was a special). They were incredibly tasty, the flavors were spot on and I enjoyed the texture of these plates. I cant remember the name of my drink but it was really good.

This was our first time at The Board Room and it was nothing short of exceptional! The food was out of this world, our waitress was very attentive, the drinks were too notch and the decor was gorgeous! We CANNOT wait to go back!

This place was awesome! We loved the professionalism and the ambiance! The food and drinks were amazing! There were no long waits and all the staff was on their A-Game! We had the shrimp, wings (which are lollipop drums), braised short ribs, and beet salad. Yum Yum Yum!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my baby shower at The Board Room, and it truly exceeded all expectations! The service was exceptional, with a staff that went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the attention to detail in the accommodations added a touch of elegance. The food was outstanding and we were able to choose from a variety of brunch items for our custom menu. The event coordinator also printed our menus and matched them to the theme of the shower. In addition to the remarkable service and delectable cuisine, the ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated. 10/10 recommend for a special occasion or event, date night, or girls night out! The Board Room manages to strike the perfect balance! Enjoy!

I came here with a friend about a week ago and I am STILL thinking about the prosciutto flatbread. If you get the gluten free one it is so crispy and yummy(plus no up charge, what a win). Karen was AMAZING as well, so personable and service was quick! If any manager is reading this, make sure you hold onto her, she is a good one!! Cannot wait to go back!

I was suspect coming in given some of the reviews. True it was very loud, however the food was great and our server Lexi was amazing. She guided our selections and we left the food delivery scheduling to her completely. We ordered based heavily on her suggestions and enthusiastic descriptions of the menu items, and we were not disappointed. Aside from the wine being moderately overpriced, I have to say this was one of the better dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely return.

Went there on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy at all. Very modern vibe with darker colors and brass all over. Fairly average selection of beers but the cocktails were elevated. I had the smoked old fashioned and they smoked it table side which was fun. Food was very good but I wanted more for the price. Will probably skip the salmon tartar next time but will double order the Moroccan carrot salad. Overall it was an enjoyable dinner and drinks and we'll definitely be coming back

Have dined once before and loved it. Tonight I attended a Charcuterie class and had a blast! The room was packed and Liz, Pat, and Ashley did a spectacular job teaching all of us to make our own boards! Definitely recommend the class and dining in for a nice meal out.

Food was flavored to the perfection! I had the Board Room Signature. Drinks were all good. I tried the Old Fashioned, Watermelon Rose and EspressoTini! I’d personally like it more if the drinks were stronger in liquor after taste. Special thanks to the girl who take care of us. She was very patient and helpful.

I’m not one to normally write a review, but this place deserves it! This. Place. Is. Gorgeous. New favorite spot in the burbs! My girlfriends and I sat on the enclosed patio & had absolute blast! Our server, Lexi, couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive (even with a packed house!) We loved all the shareable plates - the carrot heirloom salad and firecracker shrimp were personal highlights, but every dish we got was delicious. The owner & manager came by to check in on us to make sure we were having a great time, which is something you don’t see very often. Boardroom is exactly what we needed in Libertyville! It honestly felt like we were in the city. Already have plans to go back next week!

Tonight my best friend and I choose The Board Room to celebrate her big 5-0! We ordered the Korean Beef Tacos and the Firecracker Shrimp for our appetizers, Wow! They were delicious! For dinner we had the Braised Beef Short Ribs and they were so tender and tasty! The food was so fresh and flavorful. Our server Emily was amazing! Her recommendations were exactly what we needed. She was friendly and attentive. We ended the meal with Chocolate Cookie Skillet and next time we will order our own vs sharing! It was so good! We will definitely be back again soon. We had such a great time!
