Tonality Brewing Company

Restaurant Bar Brewery

👍👍 This place is incredible and I’m excited that they just opened up. Don’t let the name fool you, this is not just a brewing company. The food menu and dishes were incredible and will be its own claim to fame in this town. The miso cod was cooked to perfection. I’m usually picky around my fish and how... People often mention beer,

This place is incredible and I’m excited that they just opened up. Don’t let the name fool you, this is not just a brewing company. The food menu and dishes were incredible and will be its own claim to fame in this town. The miso cod was cooked to perfection. I’m usually picky around my fish and how it’s prepared but this cod melted in my mouth after the first bite. The short rib was a perfect follow up and shows that this kitchen knows how to not only provide familiar favorites, but add their own note to them. Added to this their beer selection shows an intentionality and understanding that great beer matters. I’m usually focused on finding a proper hazy and Tonality doesn’t disappoint. This seems like a brewery that’s focused on making damn good beers. Cheers.

~$40 bill for 2 appetizers and one draft beer. Kolsch ($6.50) was solid. I ordered the cheese curds, portion is not suitable for more than 1-2 people as pictured. Basil ranch wasn't a suitable dip, very bland along with curds themselves and absolutely not worth it. ($10) Bone marrow appetizer was a hit, comes with plenty of toasted bread and arugula salad with pickled onions that compliments it absolutely perfectly. Wish I saw this on more bar menus. ($15) Bartenders pacing frequently but friendly and attentive to needs while at the bar. However, there were infrequent dining room checks/ passes. If you aren't at the bar, you might be waiting for continual service for longer than expected. Would like to try again for dinner service. Prices seem astronomical for portion sizes and quality based on my observation. Restaurant and restrooms were clean and well maintained. Parking lot is rife with small rocks and large concrete siding debris, there are also no stairs or dedicated handicap access from the middle of the lot outside of the public sidewalk farther down. There is a well-trod grass trail leading from the parking lot to the restaurant that would do better as a set of stairs and/or ramp.

I visited Tonality for the first time yesterday evening and decided to start out small as I was not very hungry. Then this pretzel the size of my head arrived! It was amazing paired with either the cheese or mustard. Needless to say, it was hard to stop eating! With all the bread I felt I needed some veg to go with it. I opted for the fried cauliflower which was perfectly seasoned and complimented with pomegranate seeds, nuts and yogurt. Being the person I am, I also had to try some of the whiskey fudge cake to round things out. It was sinfully delicious. Everything hit the spot and I definitely look forward to coming back for a full meal!

Just opened (Nov 3), I attended the soft opening a couple nights before. Phenomenal food was served, and we got to choose from the first four beers brewed here (see photo). Zach and his partners, friends, and family have gone all-out to convert this old municipal building (firehouse) into a community-centered place to gather for food and drink.

Stopped in for a beer and a snack. The place looks great, and I have been watching the evolution of the premises for the last few years. Welcome to our town, and I look forward to trying some of the plates.

Awesome place. Food was amazing. Had the smash burger which was so delicious and full of flavor. Great service and ambiance too...love the smell of brewing beer. Being a total beer snob, I am knocking 1 star off for the beer. The red ale was the best of the bunch followed closely by the Kolsch. The IPA and West Coast need to be stepped up as I am tainted by the greatness of Treehouse and Pliny. Definitely will be back with friends...and the roasted bone marrow is next on my list. Highly recommend to all considering coming here.

Great service and food! I have a gluten sensitivity but I was able to eat the cheese curds because they are beer battered. I can’t remember the last time I had cheese curds and they were delicious! My husband and I loved the basil ranch they came with. They are fried in the same oil as other things that can cross contaminant it. That does not bother me but could bother someone else. They did not have a gluten free bun available when I was there, but I was told they are working with finding one to offer on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

Great food, great beer! Tonality has beer flights offering their four home brews. Not only they cover the spectrum pretty well with only four( from IPA to red ale ), they are f* good! I personally enjoyed Analog (a German-inspired lager) the most. You won’t go wrong with any of their dishes. We tried the whole menu pretty much. The items that flew away: cheese curbs and ribs. Holly smokes! There are also vegetarian options such as mushroom risotto and the kale salad that won’t leave you hungry. The vinaigrette in the kale salad was a full experience of flavor for me. I combined the risotto with the German ale, and the combo is all I needed Friday night!
